    @dicluv If you've downloaded the torrent from the site and are using that in your client, not the one you created, the most likely explanation is that your client is trying to find the files you want to seed in the wrong directory. Look for the "Save path". If you're using qBittorrent, it's the second to last line on the 'General' tab. This is where the client is expecting the files to be. If this is not where they actually are, you have two choices: (1) Pause the torrent. Copy or move the files there, maintaining the same directory structure as shown in the torrent. "Force recheck" the torrent. It should now find them. If it reaches 100% it has. Restart the torrent. or (2) Change the location the client should be looking. In qBittorrent, pause the torrent. Right-click it, then choose 'Set Location'. Use the dialogue box that opens to change the location to where the files actually are. 'Force recheck' the torrent. Assuming it gets to 100%, restart it. If you're not using qBittorrent, the locations of where to find stuff will likely be different, but the principle is the same.

    I discovery it for a few days , and i did first a withdraw test to see if this works. Ansd works, because this i post here for you too, you dont need to pay nothing , only if u wnat to have more hash.. Would be nice to become litlle referals , this givr u a 0.6 TH/s free per referal.And i only post because i see that this works and is not a scam.     Staff note: thanks for all the testing in this thread, it was genuinely useful. The concrete points raised here (seeder columns, uploader name display, list contents, .torrent creation date, download issues after the switch) have been picked up into our internal tracking, and several are already fixed.     Exchangeable digital file container format file name extensions are indeed considered the same and duplicate if same size. Some examples:   mpeg <=> mpg <=> dat (VCD)   avi <=> divx   mp4 <=> m4v <=> mov However, a torrent to be duplicate, there must be available another original. That wouldn't be the case here, because the subject is to prevent easy jump-on by members who got the file from other places.

    First thing to check, is if the file(s) in question check 100% against your torrent in your torrent client. If yes and it plays with sound at your computer, it is most likely not an issue with the torrent and the shared file, but an issue of codec support on the computer and/or player at the downloader side. As well, if yes, re-uploading another torrent for the file won't change anything. Best thing is indeed to contact the Helpdesk with details, e.g. which torrent and who complains. The Helpdesk would only delete the torrent, if it is verified that the issue is with the torrent's shared file.

    Your torrent client will have to announce to the tracker that it has completed the download. If you direct immediately, when adding the torrent to your client, the download to the file you already have, then the client won't start (trying) to download, so won't send a having completed event to the tracker. It will start seeding immediately.

    I have defined my default browse categories in my user settings profile, but when I go to PictureBrowser all the categories are automatically selected.  However the categories you define DO take affect when you click Search and browse torrents the "old" way (i.e. a list of torrent titles).  Also if you define your categories for the PictureBrowser view, these settings are not remembered after closing your browser (confirmed in Firefox and Chrome). Is this a known problem?  Shall I report it somewhere?

    @cannonmc: I know it's of no help, I get No Torrent with ID on that link. If it's any consolation I have that movie. I couldn't finish it I do believe that the uploader has fixed the problems with it and has reuploaded it.

    When you see in the torrent client an availability of 2.000, it means the other peers to whom it is connected share together one full copy in addition to your own full copy. However it doesn't mean that any of them got a full copy (then they would be a seeder and your client won't connect to it). Then if you quit and one of them drops off, no complete copy will be shared. therefore, if there then aren't shown multiple seeder (or seeds) in the client, you should continue to seed. Our rules require 3 other seeds, i.e. 4 with you all together, before you can stop seeding. This is to ensure the torrent will survive once the uploader left seeding and one or the other member who has completed the download quits seeding early. You can check on the number of seeds both in your client, that would be "0 (4)" seeds in µTorrent for you and 3 others, or on the site. Both ways are fine.

    As long as it is still in the GayTorrent.ru data base that you've downloaded that .torrent file (some older data were pruned), it will not count towards your 24 hours limit. Same for the download of own uploaded torrents and freeleech torrents.

    It depends for which reason you look for them. To reseed what you've downloaded upon: Go to your Profile by a click on your name in "Welcome back, …" then down the Completed torrents, look there for torrents with 0 (or only 1) seeder. Else, sort the "Search" results by number of seeder and ascending (there will be thousands)

    There is a way, we the moderators, can make a "new" torrent freeleech: taking an old torrent, give it freeleech and than promote it to the top of the list (which changes the date to the current date/time, adds the recycle symbol to the title and the original date to the description).

    Yes… Once you become a Power User, you can exchange SBP for invites to be able to invite a friend to the site. I must warn you though that you must NEVER do this from the same internet connection and/or computer as your friend. Doing so will result in the system flagging you for having a duplicate account. When inviting a friend, always use your computer on your internet connection and have them accept the invite within 24 hours on their computer from their internet connection.

    Yep, its gone from circulation, I guess it was taken down. Good thing I was still able to completely download the torrent using the .torrent file from here. Not sure how it worked, but I am glad it did. And since its no longer here, my ratio didn't suffer.  ;D

What am I doing wrong? Because there is usually no confirmation pop-up when something is added to the exception list, its easy to inadvertently place something there and not know it. My guess is that you already added vuze to this list, and this prior entry is now negating your attempts at entering it again. You need to search through the list and delete any customized entries you may have added, then create a brand new exception for vuze.

    If you ever run into that problem again where the reseed button doesn't work, there's one of a few things that we can do to try and help you. When this happens, simply hit the "report" button on the torrent and let us know what is going on. Depending on a number of things, there's one of a few things that we can do to help when this kind of thing happens.
