@allyigator-0 It's a database error, that only the site owner can fix. It usually only happens when you change emails linked to your account.

@Hampie Yep I reckon it must be, and I'm 1951..but will say I do like the look, but the feel of the site well I'm finding it confusing and hard to use, but I will figure it out...eventually. Now that we are or appear to be down to just the two most popular gay torrent sites...LOL

@Lancej Why not simply take a look at the lists at the bottom of your Profile, under "User Details"? All the torrents that you are currently seeding are shown under "Show seeding torrents", and those you're still leeching under "Show leeching torrents".. [image: 1783772268501-523b4945-9c35-457d-8161-057360e57cec-image.jpeg] The totals of each should be the same as the numbers shown in the middle of the bar at the top of the site: [image: 1783772430613-b91ae8c6-07a8-4f03-b4d3-29f4588ebcd5-image.jpeg] Beneath these, is "Show completed torrents". When you stop seeding a torrent that has fully completed - e.g. you pause it, or delete the torrent from your client - that torrent will move from "Seeding" to "Completed". If the torrent you're interested in is in either "Seeding" or "Completed", you should get notified of any reseed request. If it's still in "leeching", or not shown at all, you won't be.

Welcome aboard. Short version: ratio is how much you share back versus what you download. New accounts get a bit of starting buffer, and the trick is to keep seeding what you grab and look out for freeleech torrents (those don't count against your download). The folks above gave you good tips too. Shout if you get stuck.

@raphjd said: Most staff use uTorrent v2.2.1. It's ancient, but it still works well. It's the last uTorrent before it was loaded with bloatware and other crap. I won't touch any uTorrent after that. Yes... To make sure I never loose the installer again, I have placed it on my private server here: https://www.tech911solutions.com/docs/uTorrent-2.2.1.exe Every time I need to install or reinstall it, I use this copy of the installer.

Staff note: thanks for all the testing in this thread, it was genuinely useful. The concrete points raised here (seeder columns, uploader name display, list contents, .torrent creation date, download issues after the switch) have been picked up into our internal tracking, and several are already fixed. Closing the triage entries for this thread; anything still broken for you today, just open a fresh thread or a helpdesk ticket.

@artificial Once the torrent gets a lot of seeders, then move to another freeleech and start again.

@Joker said: I’m going to take another look at it later, but I’m afraid I may not be able to fix it perfectly. I hope you can live with it to some extent. At the very least, you should now be able to log back into your normal accounts again. I hope that at least worked. Is this just done / failed at this point?

@eobox91103 swarm simply refers to the collective of all peers who are active in the distribution of a torrent regardless of whether they are downloading or uploading. in this sense, there is only one swarm. what you described can happen, still. that is because the tracker, who is responsible for peer discovery, often limits the number of peers that can be discovered, and the peer list you get is determined by the tracker's algorithm. it is possible to end up with a peer list that is not very useful. but it's worth noting that peer discovery occurs every time your client re-announces itself to the tracker, and you might get another subset of peers. this is not a protocol rule, each tracker has its own rules. some trackers might report all peers in very specific scenarios, some trackers might report only partial peers in all scenarios. i will soon write a topic to help elucidate this better, along with other words from torrenting terminology.

@indirevri-0 after you pause a torrent it can take several minutes before it disappears from the leeching list. when you stop seeding, it updates almost in real time, same is true for when you finish downloading ALL files. But partial torrents are not as fast, I don't really know why. When I don't plan to download all files, I add a tag to help find it more easily later.

All I've heard about QTM for the last 4 years is that it appears to be broken. I think most people are either creating their torrents manually with their client or using this utility.

Looks like a DNS issue, you can try a few things to confirm: a) use a vpn b) visit the sing using your mobile carrier c) set a custom dns resolver the first two are the easiest methods to confirm the problem, if the site is displayed correctly then you can manually set a custom dns resolver for both your PC and phone.

@raphjd said in Not liking the category genre order: @ianfontinell-0 & @amris There have been countless threads on this. Some things are always the main category, such as Theme Movies, TV, Books/Mags, etc. Then we have secondary categories, such as Asian, Trans, Straight (Younger & Older), Bi, Scat, etc. If none of the usual main categories apply, then the secondary ones move up to main. Then let us have a choice to also search for secondary categories...

@eobox91103 Perhaps you have donated to the site? Other people do report the limits on simultaneous leeching. And, yeah, this can snowball in both directions - you have enough ratio, so you comfortably download more and right away, so you can just keep seeding it and maintain the ratio. And vice versa - when your ratio is low, you download a few files, or hope for a freeleech - then, when it doesn't happen even your best attempts at seeding won't be enough. When some people have 10x the upload speed or more, and have external IP addresses, meaning people can connect to them, giving them maybe 5x more peers, looks like only large, 50-100GB torrents can leave enough room for everyone.
