@allyigator-0 It's a database error, that only the site owner can fix. It usually only happens when you change emails linked to your account.

@Hampie Yep I reckon it must be, and I'm 1951..but will say I do like the look, but the feel of the site well I'm finding it confusing and hard to use, but I will figure it out...eventually. Now that we are or appear to be down to just the two most popular gay torrent sites...LOL

@Lancej Why not simply take a look at the lists at the bottom of your Profile, under "User Details"? All the torrents that you are currently seeding are shown under "Show seeding torrents", and those you're still leeching under "Show leeching torrents".. [image: 1783772268501-523b4945-9c35-457d-8161-057360e57cec-image.jpeg] The totals of each should be the same as the numbers shown in the middle of the bar at the top of the site: [image: 1783772430613-b91ae8c6-07a8-4f03-b4d3-29f4588ebcd5-image.jpeg] Beneath these, is "Show completed torrents". When you stop seeding a torrent that has fully completed - e.g. you pause it, or delete the torrent from your client - that torrent will move from "Seeding" to "Completed". If the torrent you're interested in is in either "Seeding" or "Completed", you should get notified of any reseed request. If it's still in "leeching", or not shown at all, you won't be.

Welcome aboard. Short version: ratio is how much you share back versus what you download. New accounts get a bit of starting buffer, and the trick is to keep seeding what you grab and look out for freeleech torrents (those don't count against your download). The folks above gave you good tips too. Shout if you get stuck.

@raphjd said: Most staff use uTorrent v2.2.1. It's ancient, but it still works well. It's the last uTorrent before it was loaded with bloatware and other crap. I won't touch any uTorrent after that. Yes... To make sure I never loose the installer again, I have placed it on my private server here: https://www.tech911solutions.com/docs/uTorrent-2.2.1.exe Every time I need to install or reinstall it, I use this copy of the installer.

Staff note: thanks for all the testing in this thread, it was genuinely useful. The concrete points raised here (seeder columns, uploader name display, list contents, .torrent creation date, download issues after the switch) have been picked up into our internal tracking, and several are already fixed. Closing the triage entries for this thread; anything still broken for you today, just open a fresh thread or a helpdesk ticket.

@BWCLOVER67 Thanks for the screenshot — that's the old QuickTorrentMaker, and it doesn't understand the new site anymore. A new version of QTM is in the works and should be out in the coming days. Until then, please use the site's own upload page (Upload in the menu) like MrMazda suggested — same result, you just add the torrent to your client yourself afterwards.

@Kevin4fm The particular torrent client you are using is likely calling leechers "peers", even though the "peer pool" consists of any device that can be connected to for that torrent. When you look at the peer pool, you will see a list of IP addresses associated with the torrent, regardless of how many pieces they have, or whether they are seeding or leeching the torrent. Some torrent clients (such as the one you are using) apparently don't conform to the "standard" terms.

@DeepSeaTide After looking at your profile, I don't think the problem in your case is a lack of leechers, so much as it is with a port forwarding issue. There seems to be a number of leechers on a number of the torrents, but not really any traffic on them. This is often a sign that the port your torrent client uses is not forwarded through your home router or VPN to your computer, both in TCP and UDP.

@ianfontinell I think this is because our sysop removed the options that are not yet fully setup until such a time as the back end of those features is setup.

@OKCancel said: @Pandaster94 You can ask him to upload a torrent. He can get first upload bonus points (600 I think) and you can then say thanks and give upto 250 sees points at a time. Never tried if a user can thank and give seed bonus multiple times on the same torrent. Yes. You can thank and leave SBP on a torrent as many times as you'd like. Just be careful about asking for things though, as we have a blanket policy that requests for content are not allowed anywhere on the site.

@Kevin4fm No, they were in fact being displayed. The privacy options used to work exactly like their description suggests. I only brought it up in this conversation because I didn't notice it had changed. But I'm 200% sure it was showing uploader names, I'm glad it was revised.

Hi @supergey First off, check what you've actually uploaded. What client are you using? qBittorret and uTorrent both have columns you can add to display this. In qBittorrent, right-click while hovering over the column titles (1). It's th same in qBittorrent, if I remember correctly. I'm sure other clients will have this facility too. [image: 1778184384253-849844a1-6052-4893-9085-5251d3fd5889-image.jpeg] The number of times a torrent has been loaded has no direct relationship with how much you have uploaded yourself, other than the first 100% or so to get at least one person fully seeded. After that (during it, even), leechers become seeders. It's quite possible that you upload something once, and everything thereafter is seeded by others. That's unlikely to be absolute in my experience, but it's not uncommon for me to have seeded only 220% yet there are a dozen completed uploads showing. I have no idea how the decision tree driving everything works out who is going to seed what! Once you see that figure you'll be more certain about how much you've actually uploaded and can judge if you feel it falls short. Remember that ratios are calculated from the total you've uploaded and downloaded. If these are both low, a small addition can make a noticeable difference. The larger those totals, the more it takes from an individual upload to move the needle. For example, I was seeding one continuously at 1-1.5mb/s for most of yesterday, and was pleased to notice my ratio ticked up by one percent. Once you have that info, send details to the helpdesk via the link in the main page's toolbar. Only they have access to the info needed to look at this specific case. Don't forget to tell them the name of the torrent, perhaps even include a link to it. I suspect a screenshot of the torrent in your client might also be useful. Thereafter, I'm sure they'll ask for any additional info they need.

@ianfontinell I agree; it looks like it's fixed now. I didn't need to restart my client. FWIW, I noticed that the torrents were visible as "dead torrents" during the outage, and some of them connected and downloaded for me even though they showed as dead on the web,
