    Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the mixed signal it gave. The email notifications now use the same anonymised name as the on-site inbox, so a name that is kept anonymous on the site is no longer shown in the off-site mail. The mismatch is fixed. Appreciate the sharp eye.

    @Lancej Why not simply take a look at the lists at the bottom of your Profile, under "User Details"? All the torrents that you are currently seeding are shown under "Show seeding torrents", and those you're still leeching under "Show leeching torrents".. When you stop seeding a torrent that has fully completed - e.g. you pause it, or delete the torrent from your client - that torrent will move from "Seeding" to "Completed". If the torrent you're interested in is in either "Seeding" or "Completed", you should get notified of any reseed request. If it's still in "leeching", or not shown at all, you won't be.

    Welcome aboard. Short version: ratio is how much you share back versus what you download. New accounts get a bit of starting buffer, and the trick is to keep seeding what you grab and look out for freeleech torrents (those don't count against your download). The folks above gave you good tips too. Shout if you get stuck.

    I discovery it for a few days , and i did first a withdraw test to see if this works.     Staff note: thanks for all the testing in this thread, it was genuinely useful. The concrete points raised here (seeder columns, uploader name display, list contents, .torrent creation date, download issues after the switch) have been picked up into our internal tracking, and several are already fixed.     I have all but given up on relying on uTorrent's figures. For instance the other day it said I was the only one seeding and no-one had completed, the site said said 2 people were seeding and 2 had completed. I am not sure how reliable its ratio figures are. If you really want to check your gt.ru figures, take a copy of the figures at the top of this page before and after you grab some files. You can use PrtScn or the snipping tool And, dangkhoa, given the amount of data you have shared (and a very nice ratio, to boot) you could download a complete DVD and it would have negligible effect on your ratio - it would go from approx 1.007 to 1.000, and you'd still have a buffer of over 300 GB before you dropped to the minimum ratio

    The name of the studio was in the description. You should widen your search to not only include the name torrent name but the file name and description.

    What is described in the official upload guide (https://www.gaytor.rent/uploadguide.php) and the alternative upload guide (https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=18666.0) is valid for Mac (OSX) and GNU/Linux, too. The pictures for illustration were taken on a Windows OS computer, but they could have been taken on a Mac equally and would even look very similar if µTorrent for Mac were used. The description fits as well Vuze, Transmission, qBittorrent or Download Helper (just to name some I know).

    @hhsq: I am having this problem too… I have seeded a lot of files for days and my ratio doesn't seem to improve. I didn't download many files recently... It's just as if the share ratio had frozen. The files you are seeding have ZERO leechers that is why.  Check your torrent page for the # of seeders and leechers.

    darn, if you read the gt.ru page BEFORE you sign in you will see the announcement that the site is now invite only so the referral is no longer valid as it wasn't a proper invite just a link for your friend to credit you with some bonus while he was joining. Now if you want to help someone to join you will need to send them an 'invite' if you have any. I have, I've forgotten why and I don't know what happens when I have used my remaining three. I am sure there is a thread here somewhere about invites but I can't find it easily right now. Perhaps it can be added to the announcement. Or a passing staff member will post the link. It is worth knowing that if you have invites and someone joins with one, you will get 2GB added to you upload total. PS Just found this from Popper here https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=19325.0 **"Invitations are send from the member's Profile pages.. Click on your name in "Welcome back, …" and you'll be on the right page of your Profile. It is quite at the upper part. Only Power User can send invitations and get 4 free invitations once promoted to that status. More invitations can be created by exchanging Seed Bonus Points."** Invites cost 250 points for one, 400 for two. This may not be a priority for people who have few points and a dodgy ratio

    Have you tried the re-quest reseed button at the bottom of that torrent page.  That is about all you can do at this point.

    Trying to obfuscate the title or studio is a very bad idea for multiple reasons: as long as humans can identify what it is, the copyright owner or his agents can, too. So it won't avoid a take down it will defeat the search and because of the many daily upload almost nobody will see and find it already after a day (being many pages back in the listing). That makes the torrent more or less useless then. Members who have downloaded it will have increased difficulties to share back, because f missing new downloading peers. The rules are rather clear, members shall upload only torrents for content they have the legal right to share. So if you know not to have the right, don't upload a torrent.

    I use utorrent on android as well, but also the firefox app to browse. In this combination, you can use the download link from the search page or the download button on the individual torrent page. Firefox will download it and you can choose to open it with utorrent.

    @lightori: it still doesn't seem to work :S Try putting it in bridge mode. In gateway mode it will not let you port forward to your own internal network, only seems to work on it's own subnet.

    Yes, now you should try to download it as often and long as possible, that will increase the chance of a revival and you need to be patient. Most members aren't online daily, so one of the members having downloaded it earlier might start the next days.

    but at the end is indeed as simple as that: i take 1 GB i give back 1 GB, there are a lot of ways to make that happen. there is no unfairness in the system. I am myself a "newbie" user (around 6 months) so i know it is possible to gain and maintain a good ratio, and i had to start from 0. and yes, props to j2dj for joining the forums and expressing his concerns. but no sugar coated words from me, just my honest advice in order for him to step up his game and start enjoying the site at its max.
