      hello there.

I'm trying to find a way to disable the fetish category from the browser as there seems to be a surge of a specific category of fetish videos that are way beyond anything i would like to see in the forum.

it seems a bit silly to be able to disable bisexual or str8 content from the pages via the settings page  (Turn off Straight categories)/(Turn off Bisexual categories), but not other categories.

You can tweak your browser settings using "Browse default categories" in Settings.

However  this only shows the categories you tick so you would have to check all the categories you want to see and leave unchecked those you want to ignore

Not sure it is worth the bother

thanks man, it doesnt keep the settings forever, i have to enable the filter each time, and the category still appears on the search list.
anyway, maybe if a future update allows it, the mods can separate brown content as its abit unsettling for some.

Perhaps it might be worth putting a request in the Suggestions & Site Feature Requests board to request that the default user profile settings be changed to check all the categories so that you can start out with everything, but choose to simply turn off what you do not want.

hungreek, that's odd - mine stayed checked because when I went from settings to search I'd forgotten to uncheck one box and only torrents in that category showed.

All the categories still showed at the top but the only torrents that were listed were those that had the box checked.

              I must try that again…

If that's the case, it could just be a matter of clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then hitting CTRL + F5

I have defined my default browse categories in my user settings profile, but when I go to PictureBrowser all the categories are automatically selected.  However the categories you define DO take affect when you click Search and browse torrents the "old" way (i.e. a list of torrent titles).  Also if you define your categories for the PictureBrowser view, these settings are not remembered after closing your browser (confirmed in Firefox and Chrome).

Is this a known problem?  Shall I report it somewhere?
