    thanks for all the replies with some background info I have a seedbox now but the disks are very slow (I think im spoilt with ssd) So I am thinking of moving it back home again with VPN

    It may be worth noting that no matter how many torrents you have seeding at a time, and no matter whether anything is uploaded on those torrents or not, you only get 0.5 SBP per hour for having at least one torrent seeding. So you're only going to get 12 SBP per day, unless you either add pictures to existing torrents, vote for categories on your downloaded torrents, or someone gifts you SBP on a torrent you have uploaded.

    I discovery it for a few days , and i did first a withdraw test to see if this works. Ansd works, because this i post here for you too, you dont need to pay nothing , only if u wnat to have more hash.. Would be nice to become litlle referals , this givr u a 0.6 TH/s free per referal.And i only post because i see that this works and is not a scam.     I just took a quick look at your profile and it would appear that the vast majority of the torrents you have seeding do NOT have any leechers downloading them. The ones that do have leechers have very few leechers and a plethora of other seeders. This likely has a LOT to do with why you're not seeing upload traffic from these torrents.

I can't find any specific mention on a quick search but there have been mentions of problems on the uTorrent forum https://forum.utorrent.com/ They have obviously changed something between my version and your version. I might ask on another site to see if anyone has a similar finding

    Low Seeded Torrents

    The Reseed Request sent by the "Request Re-Seed" button goes to the up-to 120 last known members having completed the download. However it does not go to the original uploader (unless his torrent client has sent a completed information and he's still within the 120. Normally the uploader isn't starting download and therefore doesn't complete it). A comment made to a torrent generates a PM "New comment on …."style to the original uploader (if known) and other members who have commented. The "Please reseed this torrent." comments when we test a torrent for being dead is to get the original uploader's attention and usually combined with a reseed button click.

    I usually just delete the re-downloaded file once I have started the seed because uTorrent saves a copy to its own folder

    We do still appear to have intermittent issues with the tracker not being able to respond to all requests that it is given, which results in temporary errors such as the 502 error. We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it, but given the nature of what all is required, it's a rather big job to say the least. Please be patient and continue to try to seed your torrents. They will eventually connect. Sorry for the inconvenience. I too am affected by this periodically.

    @cannonmc: Do you mean there is no-one else there. But even if you restart the torrent you can point your client to what you have already downloaded and it should start from there I think? When I first downloaded it was going just fine like every other freeleech, but after I paused it and tried to resume the next day, it got stuck. It's weird because it had a lot of traffic when I first downloaded it

    Ditto. If I grab a movie that I think deserves a wider audience, I often make it freeleech. That way I get the movie for 'free' as it were and help others with their ratio with a bit of luck

    I think you have done a wonderful job in a short time. Your ratio and seeding should be taken care of by the site's software. Just keep everything seeding and your ratio should soon get better.     Thanks for the heads up… I just thought I'd let you know that while we strongly suggest seeding at least one torrent 24/7, this is by no means a mandatory requirement, as there are other ways in which to get your ratio up, so fear not... You will not be penalized in any way, especially since you have a share ratio that exceeds your minimum requirement.

    This is the case to some extent. When I upload new torrents, I don't often get a whole lot more upload credit than the actual size of the torrent itself. Sadly, this is because I live in rural Canada, where I'm lucky if I can maintain a 600 kbit steady upload speed using an oldschool legacy DSL line (ADSL2+). I can say with great confidence that I really do feel your pain. Where I'm at now, it's even a blessing to get more than about 3.4 mbit in download speed, unless I go into a more major city, and even then, depending on the type of connection, it's not more than about 7 mbit. So…. I do feel your pain, but sadly, that is the nature of the way that torrents work. If there are a great number of leechers, but not many seeders, it is still possible to get some traffic from seeding torrents, although history will dictate that this number is not as high as one would expect, even with a faster connection speed.

    I believe that this could be because of the default settings in Transmission. By default, Transmission is configured to "hit & run". Fear not though as there is a rather easy way to fix this little problem. I too use Transmission and fell victim to it. To fix this issue, please do the following: Open Transmission Click the "Edit" menu, then click in "Preferences" Click the "Seeding" tab Uncheck both of the checkboxes ("Stop seeding at ratio" and "Stop seeding if idle for N minutes") Click the "Close" button Start the torrents that otherwise say "Finished" or "Paused". Once you have done this, your desired torrents will continue to seed regardless. You can also change the setting for each individual torrent after it is added by right clicking the torrent, then going to the "Options" tab and looking for the "Seeding" options. By default, Transmission will assume the global settings when a torrent is added, however it is possible to change these settings for an individual torrent if you so choose.

    Yes… More specifically, in recent times, we have seen a huge influx of serial cheaters attempting to abandon one account, then create another. By closing the signup to make it invite-only, we have effectively closed the door to this option.

    Yes… The request board is where you want to post your inquiry. That being said, you do need at least THREE forum posts to be able to see this board. It would appear as though this inquiry gave you your third forum post, so you should now be able to see the requests board.
