    @MrMazda Thanks. I believe my port forwarding settings are correct now. Since I moved to a VPN that supports it, I've seen a dramatic and continued upsurge in how many torrents I'm seeding. Most of the time, I'm at my maximum upload speed, and there are a few torrents I'm seeding where a sole leecher had been trying for ages, and soon after setting up port forwarding, these completed. Having said all that, I'll take a look at it again, especially my router settings, as I don't recall having to do anything with them. There may be some additional tweaks I can make to improve things even further. .

    I discovery it for a few days , and i did first a withdraw test to see if this works. Ansd works, because this i post here for you too, you dont need to pay nothing , only if u wnat to have more hash.. Would be nice to become litlle referals , this givr u a 0.6 TH/s free per referal.And i only post because i see that this works and is not a scam.     Staff note: thanks for all the testing in this thread, it was genuinely useful. The concrete points raised here (seeder columns, uploader name display, list contents, .torrent creation date, download issues after the switch) have been picked up into our internal tracking, and several are already fixed. Closing the triage entries for this thread; anything still broken for you today, just open a fresh thread or a helpdesk ticket.

    You got warned, because our system detected you had 6 accounts. A donation won't resolve that issue. You should have cleaned up that mess yourself by: deactivate all, except one account there > https://www.gaytor.rent/delacct.php and then reactivate rights on the remaining there > https://www.gaytor.rent/reactivate.php (Remark: It is recommended to keep the older account, which will make reseeding easier. In case a member believes to be warned not justified, he should write to the Helpdesk). In your case, I've cleaned it up for you, exceptionally.

    I've been getting them lately as well.  But it seemed to start around the time I switched to Transmission GUI 5.01 (Windows) a couple of weeks ago. But since the torrent continues to download and upload, it really wasn't an issue. Currently, I'm seeing it on "KeptSecretXXX - Drug Bust".  So, if that file was reported as a dupe, then I guess we're the same page of "non-issue", which just leave the question of "'Why am I still here and not wankin'?"  (The question of a lifetime.)

    Yes agree but IMHO he should've done a search on GTru first because I found there are 4 more of the same titles but different sizes. I think it's just rude. I guess if GT allows it, then he has the right to do it.

    I uploaded a new torrent but can't seem to get it to download

    You have downloaded the small .torrent file (the "torrent") and added it to µTorrent. Now your µTorrent tries to download the movie file, because it does not find it on your computer or external storage drive. When you add a torrent to µTorrent, there should be a window displaying the files of the torrent's file list and allowing to set the download folder. There you need to press the ". . ." button and change the download directory to the folder which contains the movie file. If this window is not displayed, you have changed µTorrent's default UI Settings. If you clicked to fast over that window, try the following steps: 1. Stop the torrent (do NOT remove) 2. Click with the right mouse button on the torrent in µTorrent/BitTorrent's list and select "Advanced" > "Set Download Location…" > navigate to the to the folder which contains the file, respectively folder, from which the torrent has been created, confirm with "Select folder". 3. Right mouse button click on the torrent in µTorrent's list and select "Force re-check". The torrent should check to 100% and µTorrent displaying "Finished" instead of "Stopped" in the status column. 4. Restart the torrent, it shall go to "Seeding" or at least to "Queued seeding"

    Vuze & Port Forwarding (two different issues)

I've since re-set everything like I had it, but now, when Vuze pulls in the torrent file from my default folder (I have it set up to import and start automatically), it doesn't start. I've clicked or unclicked everything that says "start torrent immediately" or "pause" or whatever is appropriate, but for now, the only way I can get a torrent to begin downloading is to manually go in and force start. Come to find out, I needed to forward my ports, which I have done. Happy that it works -- when I'm at home where I set the port forward to work! But, I also travel with my laptop to work, to Starbucks, to friends, etc. where it appears that port forwarding wouldn't work (because of the assigned IP address, I'm assuming). Is there a way to make this work -- or am I stuck seeding just when I am at home? ... You should try to have the portforwarding made by UPnP automatically. The function for that is hidden in Vuze's plugins setting. If the modem/router is set to have UPnP activated (which should be the default by the ISP, but not on company or other organisations networks) that will work. Vuze > Tools > Options … > Plugins (expand by click on the arrow before it) > UPnP > select "Enable UPnP" and "Release connections on shutdown" > click "Refresh" button

    If you still use Windows XP, you need to install a UDF 2.5 Reader (driver) to read "discs" in the Bluray Disc file format. You can get it there > http://www.videohelp.com/tools/UDF-Reader

    Hi sirshootalot, you don't give a lot of information but first place to start would be to hit the CTRL+0 keys - that's CTRL and zero key together. Just in case you have altered the size by mistake. Or you could try the opposite and, while holding down CTRL, use your mouse wheel to increase the size in search. You don't say if it has changed on other sites. See. Popper, knows what he's talking about   Just to add you need the View/Zoom menu on Firefox menu bar

    There is a way to configure removing advertisements beginning µTorrent 3.2 & above.  Users are just lazy or don't know how to configure their settings. µTorrent Stable (3.4 build 30596) is out now.

    Yes, the torrents are started, not queued. As I mentioned in the first post, the tracker status is offline (timed out). I have pinged the tracker as you have suggested. The IP address is 77.247.178.189. All packets in the trials are received. Average round trip time is 387ms.

    I can not download or upload anything to the server gaytorrent. I have v 3.3.2 utorrent. I tried to follow the instructions given by Popper to the user severo, but in my "host" file there are no gay torrent entries to put # in front of them. In my hard disk i have a folder with approx. 330 torrnets which they dont seeded here. Also i cant download nothing from the site. Recently (a month ago) I reinstaled win7 64bit in my pc. Please I need help.  :cry2:

    I do it in a mixed way of the 2 previous posts. 1. Have multiple hard drives and have one for each type of video; ie TV, Movie, Porn - Twink/Frat,  Porn - Hunk, etc, etc. 2. On each hard drive, I then make studio folders.

    First thing: What ever your Profile privacy setting on GayTorrent.ru is, including the lowest "normal" (lower than "low"), only you and torrent staff can see your torrent activity. As well registration e-mail and login or torrent client IPs are visible only to very few of the staff, most staff can't see them. Regarding the display of the peer IPs in the torrent client: "Normal" user can't do much with an IP, most likely they get only information who your ISP is when trying to search it. "Professional" spies will use special versions of torrent clients if normal version won't display IPs, if they don't do it already The problem with torrents is that the client programme needs to know the other peers IPs to connect to them. Independently from if they display the IP or not. Not displaying the IP might only lead users to think it is invisible, but it isn't. Any client connected to a tracker or a swarm (via DHT for example) will know the IPs of the other peers. If you are concerned about your privacy and don't want to stp using torrents, invest in a VPN service. Many members here say good about PrivateInternetAccess (40 USD / year). Note the VPN service can know all your traffic (but that doesn't mean it is logging it). So you have to trust that service provider …

Anyone else feel like this. other torrent sites do not have these rules No, you are not right to feel ripped off. No-one is forcing you to download anything. But if you do it from this site, then you are expected to abide by the rules. If you fall foul of the ratio rule, the staff will do their best to get you back on track. And the quickest way of adding to your ratio (without paying) is simply upload a torrent to share. Another good way is to get friends to sign up using your Affiliate link. I have got 1500 Bonus points that way, equivaklent to an upload of 25GB. As for other sites not doing this, of the 12-15 torrent sites I use only two have a 'no ratio' policy. Others are even more restrictive than .ru. If you really want a way of downloading with no commitment to share I suggest you learn how to use usenet news groups but a decent server there would set you back about $10 a month

    This is a good occasion to explain how we proceed with new uploads not being seed or only partly seed. To note that there is still a backlog from the holidays to treat the partly seed uploads. 1. For not at all seed torrents, the uploader gets a standard PM from about 30 minutes after upload. This PM suggests solutions for the most likely reasons. Depending on staff availability, it might take some hours to send this PM (we need more staff, candidatures there > https://www.gaytor.rent/jobs.php ). 2. For partly seed torrents, we allow about 24 hours to resume or complete the upload. then we send a PM to resume it. This PM proposes links to guides, to contact the Help desk, the language boards and personalised help. We note the % of upload. 3. A not at all seed torrent is deleted from 3 days after it's upload (backlog here). 4. If a partly seed torrent is not seed from 3 days after it's upload, another PM is send to complete the upload. The torrent get promoted with "~completes?" added to the beginning of the description and the % of upload noted again. (backlog here) 5. We wait until no peer is visible to still trying to download it and then delete it. This is about 1 torrent per day (below 0.5% of uploads) Of course, if the uploader gets back to one of the PMs and it becomes clear he won't be able to complete the upload, a torrent is deleted earlier.

    That mentioned "warning" is rather an alert sign, only. It is visible to staff only. It isn't the red triangle warning, which if you see it, would mean your account is blocked from browsing torrents and connecting to the tracker.

    @Popper: If the extra files are a few pictures and a description text file, their size is usually marginal compared to the movie and not worth even the time to deselect them from being downloaded. I completely agree with that, Popper. I was thinking more that after the download the little 'extras' can often get deleted after viewing… Yes, I do sometimes tidy my folders...yes, honestly  :laugh:
