I've noticed that some torrents use different pics for grid view (a horizontal pic) and another for browse view (a vertical pic).

I can't figure out how that is achieved. If I tag a pic as "cover shot" it'll use the same pic for both views. Tagging a second pic with another one of the tags doesn't seem to do anything in that regard. What's the trick?

@8xllrs2 Not sure I completely follow, but I usually have to revisit my uploads after posting and formally assigning the "cover shot" by holding down right-click on desired picture. After this, all views show this image as the cover photo.

@8xllrs2 For browse view, if no cover shot is specified, the cover shot will always be the first image in the presentation. For grid view, if no cover shot is specified, the site will automatically pick the first image that better matches the aspect ratio of the grid card, which is 16:10.

When you see two different images in each mode, it means the torrent doesn't have a cover shot, each view mode has its unique rule for deciding which image to pick automatically, one will always pick the very first image, the other will pick the first image that better fits inside a 16:10 ratio, or fall back to the very first image if they all have the same ratio.

In short, when you pick a cover shot it will be used for both views, if you don't pick any the site will pick one automatically.

If you want to force two specific images to be used for each mode, pick one that is closest to 16:10 and make it the second image in the presentation. As long as the first image has a different ratio, it will be used for browse view, and the 16:10 one will be used in grid view.

Once again I'd like to remind everyone that it's not mandatory that you speak.
