@allyigator-0 It's a database error, that only the site owner can fix. It usually only happens when you change emails linked to your account.

Hi Phenlandia, I went through it again and sent you the details by PM. Short version: on that one torrent far more download was counted than it is big, so the difference above its size has been credited back to your account. Joker

Glad it works now, billythick. For anyone who finds this later: "unregistered torrent pass" means the tracker does not recognise the passkey inside that .torrent file. That usually happens with an old .torrent from before a passkey reset, or when the tracker URL got edited. Remove the torrent from your client (keep the data), download the .torrent again from the site and add it, that fixes it. Thanks Kevin4fm and ianfontinell for helping out.

@ScoobyDioux Exact same problem here. The problem is obviously on the server end.

@ezkape000 Sadly, this torrent dated to 2015 (long before the server crash), and the snatch list in the database was lost, and the original uploader long ago deleted their account, so there's no way of knowing who downloaded them. This means that this torrent is now no longer because there's no hope of that one coming back unless it someone happens to upload it as a new torrent again. That said, I do want to remind you that making requests anywhere on the site is forbidden.

It has always been this way. The only difference now is that we no longer promote torrents. When you'd see a freeleech torrent that seems to be new, it's because a mod would freeleech it, then promote it. Since we have done away with promoting torrents, this leaves all torrents at their original upload date.

@john32123666 Thanks for responding 1 - the irony of you telling me to "be polite" when I'm asking responders to "don't be a jerk" (another way of saying "be polite") is amazing. Because you were NOT being polite by responding with that. 2 - I was the Original Poster. I did NOT receive a System Notification

@Cryxel In that case I would contact the helpdesk again, leaving out all of the extraneous information and focussing solely on that. The way you've presented the issue on here does make it a little hard to filter out the relevant information. If you simply say "Before donating my UL was X, but after donating my UL still showed X, not X+Y. Please can you investigate? Thank you" then I think it should be clearer.

    QTM not working

@briansammbr Same thing happens to me.. I gave up trying to upload. I think I know a way around it though. It is very easy to create a torrent with Utorrent (and probably other clients). I don't understand why, but you don't even have to specify a tracker! To use it here, use the tracker for this site. That is easy. However, I don't know how to attach images, text, or the key file to the torrent. People do this on other sites... I must be stupid! I would try to solve the problem, but even when QTM does work for me and my videos get posted, they typically get taken down very quickly. I think one reason for that is other people post the same videos, in different formats and sizes, and take credit for them. I have noticed that videos that are not here, magically appear after the same video I posted gets taken down.

@eobox91103 very cool! Now that is some good advice on an easy way to improve a ratio. All without specific instructions on what type of porn, how to sort it by one's individual preference, etc. Thank you for sharing!

    Torrents in Google search

@john32123666 said in Torrents in Google search: nts are visible via google search, the poster neglect to check Private torrent during creating of new torrent ... This has nothing to do with the torrent file itself but rather a poor configuration of the site to prevent the pages from being indexed by search engines. [image: 1683590039642-aa0049a8-fe4e-4ddb-9a7d-c3f8e4be7a3a-image.png] Take a look at the image above, this is a set of tags that aim to indentify the page using various filters to make the page more "findable" by search engines. They could add a tag to prevent the page from being indexed, but instead they use various tags to help search engines at displaying these pages more effectively in their results. Adding a noindex tag instead, even if the entire page is visible to google, that page will never be displayed in the search results as requested by the page itself. But as you can see from the image above, Gaytorrent actually wants torrent pages to be indexed so it's a valid discussion imo. The fact that the same pages don't show up on Bing means that Bing have deliberately chosen to omit the entire gaytorrent site from their results.
