@allyigator-0 It's a database error, that only the site owner can fix. It usually only happens when you change emails linked to your account.

@MaleMan said: So sorry for bumping this, but the site seemingly has introduced another setting that seems to break the current settings and resorts to always sorting by relevance regardless of settings : [image: 1783779627896-b1e0f69b-1888-41cd-9e7e-404013713b76-image.jpeg] The default was Smart (Relevance when searching, Newest otherwise). I've changed mine to Newest first, but search does not keep this setting. Going to homepage and doing a search : [image: 1783780300175-e275d2dd-4d43-4bea-98be-fcfd749ec243-image-resized.jpeg] still results in results being sorted by relevance, and this despite changing the sort order of the results to Newest first and having activated the "Don't auto-switch to Relevance when I search". [image: 1783779751845-ecafa707-d9b8-44b8-b51d-ba48996a4776-image-resized.jpeg] It's very frustrating. Why does this site keep wanting to sort by relevance? Can the owners correct this? That is a known bug, ever since the search bar was introduced in the home page, it always resorts to relevance sort regardless of your preferences. But in the proper search page your settings should work as expected.

@trueform yes im having the same issue. some will only go to 99% and stop. I just gave up on them and went to reseeding something else in my collection. Im mainly reseeding whole files. It will still reseed if its a partial right? Getting notified of a reseed request, and getting a reseeded torrent back to 100% progress at your end are two different things. So long as at some point you've registered as a seeder (see comment above about which list the torrent is on) then you'll be notified. Once you're on the seeder list, you're on it, even if you can't quite seed everything. But you don't have to have downloaded every file in a torrent to actually seed it. I've got a recent one where I only downloaded one file of three - I've now uploaded about six times what I downloaded. If you're returning to a torrent, rather than leeching it initially, one possible cause of the 99.8% issue is that - in my qBittorrent at least - I sometimes get a "torrent complete" notification before it actually is. If I look at my download speed, there's often a time when it says "100% progress" but it''s still showing a falling speed before it finally registers as zero. The difference is nowhere near enough to interfere with a file's playability, so likely wouldn't be noticed... until you try to reseed. Then, the fact you've really only downloaded 1.86gb instead of 1.87gb will make a difference.

Welcome aboard. Short version: ratio is how much you share back versus what you download. New accounts get a bit of starting buffer, and the trick is to keep seeding what you grab and look out for freeleech torrents (those don't count against your download). The folks above gave you good tips too. Shout if you get stuck.

@raphjd said: Most staff use uTorrent v2.2.1. It's ancient, but it still works well. It's the last uTorrent before it was loaded with bloatware and other crap. I won't touch any uTorrent after that. Yes... To make sure I never loose the installer again, I have placed it on my private server here: https://www.tech911solutions.com/docs/uTorrent-2.2.1.exe Every time I need to install or reinstall it, I use this copy of the installer.

Staff note: thanks for all the testing in this thread, it was genuinely useful. The concrete points raised here (seeder columns, uploader name display, list contents, .torrent creation date, download issues after the switch) have been picked up into our internal tracking, and several are already fixed. Closing the triage entries for this thread; anything still broken for you today, just open a fresh thread or a helpdesk ticket.

There are a number of things that can cause this error. If you're looking to identify the root cause of the crash, it may be helpful to look at the dump file that it created, as well as to check your system event viewer to see what goodies you may be able to dig up. Also, as a general rule, uninstalling and reinstalling uTorrent generally fixes most problems, although this is not a guaranteed fix.

@flashpoint: I have a file someone wants reseeded. Same files, but different folder name. Basically i downloaded, deleted and then re-downloaded from another site. It's already seeding, but it's not the exact download from here to be counted as my reseed. Just in case you didn't know, this can be done with most torrent clients. There should be a way of right clicking on the file in the list, and changing what file it matches up with on your computer. Otherwise, if it is just a one file torrent that is identical but has a different name, you can manually select that file in the re-seed process, even if the file name is different, and it should accept it without any issues when you run the hash check.

@cannonmc: @kuasiabung: i have been seeding for 8 hours, but there's no changes in my ratio Just because you are seeding doesn't mean you are uploading. There has to be someone at the other wanting to share from you Also, you need to be sure that the port number that your torrent client uses (both TCP and UDP) are forwarded from your router (often built into your modem) through to your computer. In most cases, either setting a static IP address for your computer or setting a static DHCP reservation for your computer are recommended to ensure that your IP address within your local network does not change, thus rendering your port forwarding ineffective.

Speaking of the dead torrent, I have bumped it and hit the reseed button in hopes that someone can revive the torrent in question.

Allow me to clarify a couple of things…. We had a temporary system outage today due to a system upgrade, which may explain why you were getting offline (timed out) instead of the usual HTTP 502. Unlike all the other trackers that seem to work properly all the time, we have a significantly higher network load and as such, sometimes at our peak hours, the tracker has a hard time keeping up due to how overloaded it can get at times. This is the down site to being the world's largest free online video bank.

As long as your uTorrent is not setup to use a random port, it appears that it is reporting that you use port 53101 in your case. You need to make sure that this port in both TCP and UDP is forwarded from your router to your computer. Doing this however requires a little knowledge of how your network is setup, which I can help you with if you'd like. I can use TeamViewer in order to possibly help do this for you. Once you do this, you should have no trouble getting uploads to work.

You could always use the help desk when issues arise.    I show you seeding 7 torrent now.  Most times it is the torrent program not connecting to the tracker and updating the information.

That means there is already a torrent with the same hash tracked by the tracker. It is very unlikely that different files got the same hash, while a file can have torrents with many different hash'. Perhaps you don't include 'dead' torrents into your search? If you can't find it, I'd suggest you write to the Helpdesk, indicating the name / title / file name of what you like to upload and then we can search.

@MrMazda: On your profile page, you can see the number of invites that you have. You can also access this page here as well. I see that you currently have 4 invites, so you should be good to go. Damn, it sucks not to be a Power User anymore
