@vortensen you using MACOS right? do you have any other torrent client on your device ? if yes then remove it and reboot. i am using version 5.26.13983 (folx pro) so far have not seen any problem. i know i'm kinda late on this but i use WeVPN and it works really well. I prefer it over Nord and Surfshark. (including codes so it'll be cheaper for you). I'm going to recommend you the two i personally like because of features and security. Depending how long you want to have the vpn for and what exactly you are wanting out of the VPN there are options. Make sure the VPN you're going to get has Port Forwarding so you can also seed after you're done downloading. WeVPN is a great one which for me was $63 with tax using code "Tomspark" saving you like $7ish for 2 years (Streaming Ips Included) TorGaurd is another really great one which have has multiple plans ranging from basic Vpn no streaming ips to their "Pro" plans which include "streaming" ips incase you want to watch geo restricted content. that can range anywhere from $60-100+ and if you use code "Tomspark" you get 50% the price so it'll be cheaper.

You change the port in your client settings.
