@nix54 The Torrent side is having technical issues beyond our control. Just need to wait for it to be resolved. The Forum site and the Tracker are still working fine.

@rdgur OK, I just had a quick look on their forums. There's a whole thread with people who ask about how to delete, and admins have responded that you need to PM one of them about it. Only admins are able to delete accounts, which I suppose makes sense as they don't want someone with a bad history simply deleting and returning with a clean slate. Since you say you're having trouble accessing the forums there I'm happy to act as a go-between to help get your forum access back, after which you should be able to discuss your situation with the powers-that-be. Feel free to PM me with your username and details of the problem and I can pass it on.

  • Anyone know which McAfee VPN servers support P2P

I would be very weary of trusting anything with the McAfee brand. Their P2P support is spotty at best, and they log everything, which is a huge red flag if you're trying to remain anonymous. They also turn over the logs, simply upon request, without any legal order in which to do so, so I would be VERY careful about using any of their products, especially their VPN. Not only that, but I do not believe that they support port forwarding at all, which will cause all kinds of problems, especially with upload with our system. I would suggest finding another provider if I were you.

Just a few things to chime in on here... UPnP does not always work the way you would think it should. Some routers implement a different variation of it than others, and the same is true for the apps themselves. Not all UPnP support is the same, so while it may work in some cases, I wouldn't count on it working all the time, or even across all apps. This is why it is important to map the necessary port forwarding manually if you're using your regular internet connection. Not all VPN services are the same, so it is important to choose them wisely, depending on a few factors. The biggest of these factors is port forwarding. This is an essential step with our system, which is necessary to be able to get proper upload traffic. You need to make sure that the port your torrent client is using is forwarded through the VPN, just the same as you would if you were using your regular internet connection. Some VPN services do not port forward at all, while others port forward only ONE port. Some however will allow for port forwarding of all ports... So it is very important to make sure that the VPN service and server location that you are using forwards at least one port, and that your torrent client is using the port that is forwarded.

@Aerethiel It is supposed to prevent that kind of thing in theory, but the big players to the market in Canada (Bell, Rogers, Telus, and Videotron) all have such DPI systems, which absolutely CAN and DO decrypt. Until Bill C-9 passed just recently, this practice was highly illegal, but since the passing of that bill, it has become the "standard" practice. There are other countries like Turkey that come to mind that have the same kind of DPI system. I don't know if their systems can read the actual traffic though to tell what kind it is, or if they can see the actual content as well, but I know in Canada (and likely also the USA), the big player providers (and by extension, the government) can not only see what kind of traffic is being transmitted, but they can also see the content of the traffic too. This means that for anyone who has smart home gadgets or appliances that connect to their home network, the government absolutely DOES know what you have, what you've got things set to, when you're home or not home, and so much more, as they read all the data from such gadgets to keep track of the people. It's actually kind of scary. Sadly even in Canada, especially with the recent passing of Bill C-9, a VPN doesn't help... It will keep other people on the internet from seeing what you're up to, or even seeing where and who you really are, but it absolutely will NOT stop the government from prying into your business.

So now, pretty much every part of our server has been replaced and it seems stable again but we'll keep a close on eye on things. We have also had to roll back to a backup of the site that was a day old so it's possible some posts and new members might have disappeared. Please let me know if you have any problems. Thanks once again to the friendly GTR crew for allowing us to post these updates

@Kekkaishi There's your problem. Your torrent client is reporting that you are using port 64789, so either you have to change the port number in your torrent client or in your router and make sure that your computer has a static IP address on your home network. This can either be done in the router itself in the DHCP settings by binding the MAC address to an IP address, or can be done on your computer locally. If you take the latter option, you need to make sure that the static IP address you assign your computer is OUTSIDE the DHCP range. I cannot stress that enough.

Okay so I see that it goes beyond nudes but isn't some of them porn already? https://www.tumblr.com/nothing-but-lust?redirect_to=%2Fnothing-but-lust&source=content_warning_wall I think they are not lenient about it. It's just gonna be up to the user to go beyond the Warning Wall. Do they mean just no serious fucking? Should porn lovers rejoice that Tumblr Porn is back?
