@asianslut Another useful tool in Windows is Auto-Movie-Thumbnailer, available at https://funk.eu/amt/ . (It passes all the virus screens as being clean, and no, I don't get a commission, because it's free.) The interface is a bit clunky (but not hard to use), and it has the advantage that you can take a whole folder of video files, drag it into the AMT window, and it will automatically make a preview for each video file, with the same name as the video file, but with a .jpg extension. This is really handy if you are uploading a torrent with lots of video files--it lets users preview each video and then decide what they want to download. (I wish every multi-video-file torrent would do this.) A recent torrent upload at https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=621a84ace470aa893f627acd8bc2072f2b01bc20a40d0974 seems to have used this software. The default settings will then be applied to each video file, and that works OK for this purpose. It can be amusing, though...in the torrent above, one of the videos was very short so the preview file had only one image--a super close-up of the guy's dick head. One could do worse...

@bigdaddy3018 Any extension that can download videos can do it, try Video Downloader. Also most websites you can access the source code to download the video, there's tutorials online probably, it's not hard to do.

Try Downie, my choice when there's no simple CLI option.

@vortensen you using MACOS right? do you have any other torrent client on your device ? if yes then remove it and reboot. i am using version 5.26.13983 (folx pro) so far have not seen any problem. I think maybe because Nord is so heavily used for P2P-ers, the P2P servers get more heavily loaded... just my opinion/guess: I have no way of testing that theory without too many other variables...

I did see the post about the "recommended" version of uTorrent, but following those instructions still got me a block from my anti-virus software (Norton 360). I'll have to give qBitTorrent a try--it seems to get high marks from many people. I don't look forward to setting up all the various options of where to put torrent files, downloads, etc., but it sounds like it will be worth it in the long run.
