@ricky I think I made it work, but it may stop working soon lol I just changed the lease time in my router DHCP settings. Now the assigned IP lasts longer. Maybe that's just a workaround but I haven't had a reassignment in over a day so that's good.

MakeMKV from https://www.makemkv.com solved it for me. There's been a few times I shared thismovie.mkv and noted it was from thismovie.iso or thismovie.torrent and plenty of others will download it. While you get used to that program, go ahead and download what you wish, knowing you can make it be a single mkv file when you're ready to do so!

There exists no such thing as the "file://" protocol. You're just accessing files on your local computer. Using this in a website won't work for anyone but you. (also, if this is strictly for your own viewing you can use relative urls and just open the .html file and it'll work in any browser)

It sounds like something is triggering the TAB key on your keyboard. Either the key is sticking, or the circuit is damaged and there is a short, which causes the computer to register that the tab key is being pressed. You can either try a different keyboard, or if it is an internal laptop keyboard, you may need to replace the internal keyboard, which should be fairly easy to do.

I can assist you with that. The answer is actually quite complicated. Simply put, you need to more or less surgically remove it from your computer and your system registry somewhat manually with a couple of tools and the Registry Editor itself. This is something I have a lot of experience with. I can assist you with it using TeamViewer if you're interested.

Here's a funny question… Have you checked your computer's date and time? Most often, this message is the result of your date/time being set wrong in your computer.

@Rubber0: IMHO alert Using a Debian with GNOME/KDE/etc is not a challenge at all. For me it turned to be a real problem that software I need for my job is nowhere to be found for linux. E.g. After effects can't be run even under WINE, I'm not even talking about it's plugins. So using Windows is just a necessity. Mac could be the solving but customization there is a problem. Haha… You've never used one of two strategies that I've used in situations like that. For one of the projects that I work with, it's either Dreamweaver, or nothing... So... I've installed a Virtual Machine within my Ubuntu installation that literally full on loads Windows 7 inside of Ubuntu. For this particular situation, problem solved. For the recording equipment on the other hand, I have yet to find a working driver for my VHS import gadget for example. So... On that machine, I've installed a dual-boot situation. This way, I can leave the computer primarily in Ubuntu, and when I need to make use of that particular hardware, which simply will NOT run in a kernel newer than 3.8.0-26-generic (which BTW has been discontinued as obsolete and isn't available past Ubuntu 12.04, and I'm now at 16.04).... It's a bit complex, but it accomplishes the mission at hand.

Do you mean like to access or download the files? The only way I know of doing that is with a ripper app… The problem is that if the content is directly published, it will pick up the content, however if it is database driven, it is next to impossible to get all the contents due to the nature of the database being a variable in the equation.

I prefer Chromium-based browsers. They're much lighter and responsive on web content than Mozilla-based ones, at least in my experience.

To download the video in your link is very easy. Just click on "File" in your browser than click "save page as".

That's my recommendation, and then wait for SSD's to take over the world of storage so mechanical wear and tear becomes a thing of the past

As for the machine itself, I would suspect that it likely got hit with a power surge. This would explain why this suddenly happened. As for Google, that is very bizarre, and I've never heard of that before. This makes me wonder whether or not you've been hit with a virus.
