@b779a I haven't used Topaz but have seen results from others... and it does add sharpness, detail etc. the AI is able to guess what the existing (bad) video was downgraded from. so the answers above from 2020 saying no it's impossible, are behind the times.

It took me a whille to find a linux program to do this. I tried ffmpeg a few commands but no luck. Eventually I stumbled upon SMPlayer. It has an option to create a page of thumbnails. Or a 'thumbnail generator' in smplayer world.

From the reviews I've seen about this, I'd give it a go. Thanks for this information.

Another option, assuming you're willing to pay a monthly fee, is to set up a seedbox. Not only will the seedbox help out with your ratio here, many of them also offer the ability to stream the content to your phone or tablet, mostly via the Plex server and app. If you do a web search on the term seedbox, you'll see a ton of links, explanations, providers, etc.

@dird-0 Hello If I’m not mistaken, synology has a torrenting “add-on” or extension (I can’t remember what they’re called for Synology) called DownloadStation but the one MAJOR caveat is that it does not support VPNs. I will do more research and edit in any more that I find to be reputable

@fruitloop88 thanks will take a look. No activate subs at the moment but got a few I’d like to sub and rip. Might try some lower cost ones first before committing to expensive ones.

Hey @paperback, before i got my VR Headset i used the VLC player. It has a lot of settings to crop the video and to sync the audio (though you have to do it manualy) if it's out of sync.
