@Nbasder9 I would just load the video into capcut and have it auto generate the captions with AI... easy breezy and quite good.[image: 1745820582490-cappp_1768-apr.28-02.09.jpg]

@cp2000 JBOD is something that can be done through your motherboard BIOS (on most mid- to high-end ones) and most multi-disk storage enclosures also have it built-in. However doing it that way also has drawbacks, because it is done on a "hardware" level, below the filesystem. Your storage controller (whether it's the one in your motherboard or in the enclosure) doesn't have any notion of files. It just sees storage devices as having a bunch of 0's and 1's on them without any understanding of what the data means. This prevents it from providing some of the more advanced functionality you might want in your storage solution (file sync / duplication etc) and also means that a single file could potentially be split across more than 1 disk. What you most likely want is a more high-level software solution. Personally I'm a Linux guy so my experience with Windows solutions is somewhat limited but as far as I know StableBit DrivePool is hands down the best option in that category. It is unfortunately not free (one-time $30 purchase) but then again, since you are on a torrent site you might not be averse to some piracy. I would highly recommend checking it out. You will probably find it's exactly what you're looking for.

@eobox91103 Syncback is definitely the best free option in my opinion. Or get the MAIWO Dual Bay RAID Enclosure with two identical drives and have it set to RAID1 it mirrors automatically for you and alerts you if one drive fails. Thats the easiest but can limit space unless you get larger drives

I'm gonna be honest with you @jayjay2-0 Digital watermarking is a real thing, but it is very expensive. Its financial viability depends on the amount of content produced versus the number of clients. More often than not it is not viable. Another studio that claims to use this technique is RFC, and their videos keep popping up every week. There is one case in particular involving the platform JFF, they noticed that there were specific creators being leaked almost simultaneously, they investigated and narrowed it to one single account that was subscribed to all the mentioned leaks, they started serving digitally watermarked videos exclusively for his account, and later more leaked videos surfaced, and they matched with his account. This is a more reasonable use case, if they were to do this for every subscriber it would cost more than they make with the subscriptions. So long story short, I call it cap, Bel Ami say they do it, but I doubt it's true. But it's possible, and the embeded data usually includes the user ID and IP address. If you use your own credit card and access the site without a VPN, there is a risk of you being traceable.

@Femalite said in JustForFans downloads: Just wondering if anyone knows a way to download videos from JustForFans? Seems every "app" or "extension" has me blocked. I can grab the files with one firefox extension, but the encryption just gives me a black/green corrupted video stream. Thanks in advance. I can help you with that. Just give me the link to the video you want to download, and I'll send you a link to the downloaded file.

@eobox91103 for many years, I got almost all my porn from the USENET using the magical PAR files. The USEnet got so overwhelmed with malware that it became USEless ISPs used to offer FREE Usenet access, and when that stopped I even PAID for Usenet access. If torrents ever vanished, it would be a cyber apocalypse!

@bigetownky No idea what they use for the OS. My guess would be some version of Linux though. I switched to Synology and it works fine.

@fredfranco Your computer needs to download the file for you to watch, so it's always possible to get it. Yeah the basic way is right clicking on the page, going to Inspect Element, finding the video and downloading. Usually when you can do that you can use extensions as well. But yeah, lots of websites can block that. The workaround I found is you play the video, then you click Inspect Element, go to Sources, then you browse there until you find the video, and you copy that link. Then you go to VLC, Convert/Save, Network, then you paste the link there and it'll save it. It'll be pretty hard the first time on any website because the video might be hard to find, but still it should work. I also found that it's better to open the sources page, and then play the video, because then the part where the video is will load and appear there, so you can have a better idea of where it is.

@BIDU65 ... If you are upgrading into new windows version ... your settings will be save ... However you need a back-up HDD external drive to transfer and copy or move all files ... Reformatting or clean install windows are very critical process w/c takes time in place ... HDD external drives are cheaper nowadays ... do a web-search ... I will format my notebook and i dont know how to save and keep my torrents working here About this ... once reformatting is done you need to start the process all over ... [Again] ... do a web-search ... https://www.reddit.com/r/torrents/comments/751gwj/save_torrents_before_format/?rdt=48218 https://www.quora.com/I-want-to-save-my-uTorrent-settings-How-can-I-do-that Goodluck ...

You will need a downloader like Tubedigger which is what I use, and yes you have to pay for it, but its worth it, been using it for years, works everywhere. It will download a separate video and audio file. You will then need to "mux" them together, and I use a free program called "Clever FFmpeg" for muxing. Works like a charm and only takes minutes
