      @tuling666 There is an option to do just this very thing in your profile settings.

      Click your username in the top right corner of the page, then click "Profile"

      Down the left side, click "Search", then on the tabs that go across the top of the options, click "Details Page"

      The bottom option is a toggle switch that will do the very thing you're looking for.

      The only thing I would like to see though is that the green that it tints the row with is a little more pronounced. Currently, it's more like just a splash of green, but the option is there. Perhaps @Joker could tweek this a little?

      @Kevin4fm
      i thank for your info
      i just want to know this site is safe (really)
      i already uploaded 2 torrents btw

      Our site is as safe as we can possibly make it. With that being said, there are a few areas where our efforts alone may not be enough to protect your privacy.

      If the video(s) you're referring to were downloaded from a site or studio that requires a paid subscription for which you have paid, there is a good chance that anything you download from that site is marked with an invisible watermark that ties that particular copy of the video to your account on that site. If you have paid for such a subscription and downloaded the video(s) in question from such a site, and you do not properly remove the invisible watermarking, it can be traced back to your paid account with that site/studio.

      Also, we highly recommend the use of a VPN that does not log anything at least on the device for which you download and/or seed torrents, even if you do not upload anything new to the site. This is because when you download or seed a torrent, your IP address becomes visible in the peers pool to anyone else in the pool. There is no way for us to be able to prevent this. If there were, we'd already be doing it.

      From your IP address, someone could in theory contact your ISP and obtain your information as the registered subscriber of the connection that had that IP address at a specific date/time. With a VPN that does not log anything, this adds a layer of protection to your identity by ensuring that your real IP address, and by extension, your internet provider, is not visible to just anyone in the peers pool, and that trying to get your information from the VPN provider would effectively be a dead end, as your VPN provider cannot give them information they do not have.

      As for the site itself, we do not under any circumstances ever, sell, trade, or otherwise hand out information on any of our users. We have actually gone to great lengths to ensure that all our users are able to have confidence in and be able to trust the security of their privacy within the site. Any personally identifiable information (such as email address) are only visible to selected staff on a need to know basis. If you set your profile security setting to "strong", this will also hide your username when you give thanks (and even SBP) on a torrent.

      As well, any information that ties your account on our site to any torrent that you are either seeding or leeching, as well as any information that links your account on the site as the account that uploaded any given torrent is also only visible to certain staff. To just anyone, the account that uploaded any given torrent always shows as "Anonymous". When a user presses the button to send you as the uploader a PM from the torrent details page, it will say they are sending a message to "anonymous uploader". In their sent box in the messages app, it will also say they have sent a message to "anonymous uploader".

      There is one thing to be aware of though. There is one and only one time when your username as the uploader of a torrent will become visible to another user, but whether or not this information is shown depends entirely on you. If a user sends you a PM as the uploader of a torrent through the details page, you will only appear as "anonymous uploader" until such a time as you reply to the PM. When and ONLY when you choose to reply to the message will your username finally become visible to the other person. If you do not reply to the PM though, the message will forever show as being sent to "anonymous uploader".

      So... The choice of whether or not to reveal yourself to another user as the uploader of a torrent in this case is entirely YOUR choice.

      Lastly, as an optional security measure to help our users protect the privacy and integrity of their account, we now offer both 2FA and passkey authentication for your user account. When these options are setup, this means that even if someone were to get their hands on your password, your password alone is not enough to be able to login to your account, which ensures that they would also not be able to gain access to any information related to your account, even if that information is visible to you. With one of these options setup, the person logging in with your password would also have to have physical access to your computer, phone, or tablet, AND would also need to know the PIN/Password to unlock (or login) to that device, or would need one of your fingerprints (if bio-metrics is enabled on that device) in order to finish logging into your account.

    • RE: I HAVE A QUESTION !!!

      @frostycab Port forwarding settings are also a huge factor in how much will upload. If your port forwarding settings are setup properly, so as to forward the port your torrent client uses through your VPN or home router to your PC, both in TCP and UDP, you'll have a much better chance at getting more upload, as users will be able to connect directly to you, rather than falling to the bottom of the pool because you're a passive node.

    • RE: ANY JEFF STRYKER FANS HERE? I love him sm

      Fun fact: In one of Jeff Stryker's contracts, he was required to produce a country music track. While he was required to produce a country music track, there was nothing in the contract that required that the track be fit for broadcast on public airwaves, so he decided to use a loophole to ensure that most people would know him for his porn rather than his music by ensuring that the song would NEVER make it to the radio.

      This was the result:
      Youtube Video

      He met the contract obligation in that he did produce a country music song. He just made sure that it wouldn't be anywhere near as well known as his porn videos.

      @Nastenka I have put a freeleech on this torrent as it seems that it is not well seeded. Based on the message I got when I pressed the request re-seed button, it seems that someone has already used this button in the last 48 hours.

      Between the re-seed request and putting the torrent on freeleech, it shouldn't take too long for the torrent to come back to life.

    • RE: Unable to upload images for my torrents

      This is likely because the size of the image is too large to be uploaded, but the server was not providing a clear error message. The message that you get should now be fixed if this is the case.

      If you run into this, check the size of the image. If the width is greater than about 1600 (or is it 16,000) pixels, the system will automatically reject the image because it is too big. There's an easy fix for this though. Open the image in the image editor of your choice and scale down the size of the image, then save the file.

    • RE: Problem with previewing images. (Not site issue, just on my pc)

      FWIW: I sometimes have this very problem. I have noticed a pattern to it though. When the network load of the server gets to a certain point, I start noticing some interesting behaviour, including this very issue.

      Simply put, when the network load level gets too high, not only does this very thing happen for me, but I often get random "Network Error" messages pop up here and there. In some cases, there is even a delay in the pages loading, and it seems that it takes some time to actually process the request and begin to render the content.

      Perhaps this issue may be in intermittent issue related to the network demand of the server? Specifically, due to the high load levels, there is a delay or in some cases, even a time out that occurs, resulting in the content not displaying as intended?

      @Joker have you heard about this? The frequency at which this happens is often not consistent. I only finally put 2 & 2 together on this issue when I ran into a situation where instead of getting delays (among other strange issues), I actually ran into a full page error message about the network load level being too high. It was a "too many requests" page that more or less said that the page could not be retrieved because the network load level was too high, though I don't get this message very often. Sometimes, the problem lasts all day, while other days, it only happens here and there once in a while, but then goes away. The "Network Error" messages are most common in the messages app.

      There is no way to roll back to the old site. There are however a number of ways you can customize the new site to have an eerily similar look and feel to the old site if that better suits you.

      Is there something in particular that you're having a hard time with? I'd be more than happy to assist you with getting things setup to your liking. I just need a little more information on where to start with this in order to do so.

      @JadeStarr776 This may be a sign of a problem with your browser. Try logging in using a private browsing window. If this works, then it is likely that your cache and/or cookies are to blame, and clearing them, then restarting your browser should correct the issue.

      @Markthis0 said:

      I had an old account for many years and it got banned a few days ago for "ratio cheating", but I didn't know what happened? Because I have been using a seedbox service for 4 years. All the downloading and seeding are on the remote server.
      So, is it safe to continue using that service for this new account if I cant get my old account back? Would I be banned again?

      As I mentioned in the PM reply from your email inquiry, the use of a fast connection or even the use of a seedbox is NOT a violation of any site rules, as long as the data being reported by your torrent client to the tracker is honest, accurate, and genuine. In other words, as long as you're not doing any "funny business" to alter or otherwise modify the data being reported, then it is fair game.

      Also, I will point out that after having had a look at your particular situation, it is at least possible that we made a mistake in your particular case, so I have reversed the ban and am willing to give you a fair chance to demonstrate that we made a mistake. After all, we're only human, so we can make mistakes too.

    • RE: From 2006 to 2026 — a word about the new site

      @Fennekin said:

      Don't care much for the new layout of the site, honestly. The old version may've seemed out of date, but at least it was familiar.

      Also don't like that we're being forced to change our passwords. I like using the same one consistently throughout many sites. I don't care about the supposed risks of passwords being leaked or whatever. It's weird that our arms are being twisted with the threat of not being able to login soon unless we get new passwords.

      Is there something in particular that you don't like about the layout? There are many adjustable options in your profile preferences to make the site look and feel almost exactly like the old layout.

      I understand your concerns about the password policy. All I can really say on this is that this decision was made with your best interests in mind. I know all too well about the convenience and ease of the same password across the board, and definitely understand the frustration of having to remember to type a new password than the one you've probably embedded into muscle memory.

      With the security upgrades also came some upgrades for your convenience as well. For example, under the old system, once you logged in, you had exactly 6 hours before you were forcibly logged out, even if you were in the middle of something. Many users (including myself) found this to be very inconvenient and in some ways, even very frustrating. This has now changed.

      In addition to being able to change how long the timer runs before you are logged out, the timer now runs on a rolling basis. This means that if you set the timer at a week for example, the timer will be for one week instead of only 6 hours, and every time you do something on the site (even just looking at the homepage while you are logged in), this timer will reset. This means that even if you are a user who only checks the site once every few days, you will only be asked for your password the first time you login, and after that point, you can keep going, without being asked for your password constantly, as long as you at least open the home page once a week.

      This was done so that you not only have a better balance of convenience and security, and so that you have the option to choose the exact balance between convenience and security for your own personal preferences. I understand this change may not be your cup of tea, but in my opinion, it is better to be safe than sorry. We don't want to see anyone in a position where their account gets compromised, resulting in their ratio being destroyed such that it becomes almost impossible for them to get it sorted out without having to make a donation they cannot afford. I know it's not ideal for some, but our sysop takes the security and privacy of our users VERY seriously.
