@lololulu19 said in Upload privileges revoked for 90 days?:

@DandyLion If someone has a question about DMCA, they can always check the website which is a massive catalog of ALL copyrights so they don't upload anything that has a copyright. Nothing I have ever uploaded has a copyright.
      https://coccatalog.loc.gov/

Your assumption that a copyright has to be registered, in the same way a patent, or a trademark, is registered, is incorrect.

A copyrightable work is protected by copyright laws the moment it is created and fixed in a material form. Registering your work is voluntary, but can be beneficial. Registration legally sets a "creation date" (in case someone claims parallel creation), as well as establishing your intent to defend your copyright protections.

You have erroneously claimed (multiple times) here on these forums that porn cannot be copyrighted... I have referenced here before - on multiple occasions - that the site CorbinFisher.com went through a spell where they were suing illegal downloaders and getting large judgements against defendants!

A company called Strike 3 was subsequently hired by a few porn companies to "aggressively assert their DMCA rights" and filed THOUSANDS of complaints. While most of those were thrown out by lower courts, in 2020 Appellate Courts reinstated them!

You also pointed out in your post that Asia Argento "also knowingly got Jimmy Bennet (a minor at the time) drunk and raped him."

The fact that you're a victim does not exclude you from the possibility of also being a perpetrator. Come on.

Geez... I'd sure love to live a few hours in your world, where everything is black and white: you're a victim OR a perp. You're 100% right, or 100% wrong. Liberal or Trumpite.

Life would be so easy for you if we realists would just stop interfering!

    • RE: Hello There

      @pupbrace

I don't use Windoze browsers (I'm a Linux guy)... thus, I do not see the same error messages you might... Further, I have tools that let me look "inside" the traffic (which I have done)... Thus, I can say with reasonable certainty that this is a proxy issue. (I have my suspicions, but that's a technical rabbit-hole maybe 3 users on the entire site would want to hear about!)

Specifically, this site sits behind a reverse-proxy from CloudFlare (this information is easy to find, if you have the right tools - CloudFlare owns the IP addresses that community.gaytor.rent points to).

And therein lies the reason for the CloudFare product (technically: a reverse proxy) to begin with: That information is easily readable through any number of Internet Resources!

But, in addition to protecting the identity (and actual architecture) of the system owner(s), the CloudFlare service also allows for there to be multiple paths to the same server(s). (To wit: I happen to be in Fla (USA), and so the IPs that community.gaytor.rent points to for me are in Miami... if you're not near me, the IPs for you will be different!)

This multi-pathing allows the service to protect the actual system(s) from DOS and DDOS attacks, as well as many kinds of "regional" Internet outages. It also prevents you from learning the actual, physical location of the actual server(s) hosting their client's system(s).

CloudFlare is a common, well regarded service. To my knowledge,it is used by over 1,000,000 websites (you might recognize some other companies that use it: lyft, tinder, & udemy, just to name a few).

Also, this isn't Rocket Science - there are plenty of competitors to CloudFlare!

The problem the site is having is random and haphazard - thus, it appears that part-of CloudFlare is correctly connecting you to this site... and part is not!

One final note: CloudFlare (and others like it) are often criticized by the Nanny-State: Proxies (technically: reverse-proxies) allow internet entities to "hide" effectively - and they can therefore be used by nefarious people... like Lyft? LOL

IMHO: Someone should tell the Nanny-State that we're adults and don't need Government Supervision!

@massafera said in Why is everything new being deleted from the "Fan Sites" category?:

@bi4smooth maybe then don't owe an answer to one single user, but this is a problem that is affecting thousands of users who use that category everyday to upload and download. So yes, they should address this as soon as possible. I already asked on helpdesk under the DMCA category and I got no answer so far. So I tried the forum and still nothing has been said. I am patiently waiting but this is not a small issue and users do need an honest answer regardless of how much we pay. As I said, it's affecting thousands of users.

So - let me get this straight: You're complaining that people who ILLEGALLY (in most countries, at least) share their porn - can not do so in the VOLUME that satisfies YOU?

Dude - when you read the stories about the "dark web" where people share things (like stolen data, credit card numbers, and porn) that they shouldn't... you're on it!

99% of the porn you're downloading here is porn that is NOT supposed to be shared. Yet, here we are - doing it anyway!

There was a period in time, not so long ago, when Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher were both aggressively SUING downloaders and seeders alike for illegally sharing their material. That has abated (too expensive for too little reward), but the truth is: we're still stealing their porn when we share it here!

I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings, but your complaint is akin to the guy who steals 10,000 credit card numbers and then complains that his ex-wife's isn't on the list (or that his own *IS on the list! LOL).

If the owners/moderators of the site WANT to share information with you about why, then so be it - but you are ENTITLED to nothing! Zip! Zilch! "King of all Ghostings!" - including a 100% refund of your site-joining fees!

Fine! If you want to LAMENT the loss of those videos - I lament the loss of 1000s of Sean Cody videos on their site, and now especially hard to find elsewhere... but that doesn't mean I'm OWED those videos - even if I'm a PAID member there! And you are OWED nothing here, either.

I will end with this observation: your attitude isn't likely to get any kind of a POSITIVE response from any Staff member that I've ever chatted with! And I've been on here since 2008!

You read a lot into my post.

It is my opinion. We still have that right to have different opinions in this country.

You may state your thoughts and I will respect them and I wish people would do the same for mine.

I'm sorry if you took offense, but while I certainly would not stand in judgement of you, should you declare that YOU couldn't be in an "open relationship"! When you're talking about yourself, I have no qualms about anything you believe about what's an acceptable relationship - FOR YOU!

But, when you make the blanket claim that all "open relationships" are just "friends with benefits" (or some other label that diminishes the value or importance of their relationship), I take offense.

Speak for yourself and we have no beef.
Attempt to re-label others based on your own beliefs, and we do, indeed have a beef.

With that said, if I misinterpreted your remarks (short as they were), I apologize.

    • RE: I added a torrent but its not visible bc its "dead", how do I make a seeder?

I think this deserves a more in-depth description....

First off, you never ever upload a torrent's contents to this site.... when you download from here, you get only the .torrent file itself from the site - the file(s) in the torrent come from other users!

So, what's actually in a torrent file? A bunch of "metatdata" - that is, data ABOUT the file(s) in the torrent:

      • folder name(s) - if present
      • file name(s)
      • checksums for each "chunk" of the entire torrent
      • the URL for tracker(s)
and some other technical stuff you probably don't care about.

Now, when you create a NEW torrent the URL for the tracker is a "generic one"... and since this is a private tracker, it is unusable in that state - but the REST of the metadata NEEDS to be uploaded to the site!

The reason the torrent you upload is unusable is because this is a private tracker (repeated information!)... that means your announce URL has a special string in it: your KEY. This key is your key to this site - and any downloads that happen with that key are "charged" to your account, and any uploads that happen with that key are "credited" to your account! (That is why you shouldn't share your .torrent downloads!)

Now, let's define a "dead" torrent: any torrent on the tracker who has no registered seeder and no registered leecher is, by definition, dead.

Now, when you first upload a new torrent - remember, you're only uploading the "generic" .torrent file - the site has no leechers (how could there be?)... and no seeders!! That's because your torrent client is still using the "generic" URL (not the one with your key)...

So, ALL freshly uploaded torrents START OUT DEAD! You (the uploader) have to re-download the .torrrent file (this time, with your key inserted!)... once you re-download the .torrent file and add it to your client! When that .torrent file registers with the tracker, the torrent will become "un-dead" and people will be able to download it (and leech it from you!)

Just remember: when you re-download the new .torrent file, you're getting a unique .torrent file... and, when each leecher downloads the .torrent file, they also each get unique .torrent files! (Unique because each has their own key installed!)

There is no "choice" under Section 230...

If you publish a libelous post about someone, you are responsible! No Section 230 protection!

If you provide a platform, and a 3rd party posts libelous content on that platform, you can sue the person who authored the post, but you cannot sue the platform!

If you provide a platform, and you post content that is libelous, you have no protection under Section 230 - because you're not a 3rd party!

      @boltvolts said in illegal file:

@bi4smooth As stated before I agree by and large with your approach. You fail to acknowledge my point. Majority is not an issue for this site, rather for morality itself. The site owners can only maintain and serve the public it seeks to serve by arriving at a level of balance that serves the majority of its users. Nothing to do with legalities. I maintain the majority of users here would not support underage posts. The age of consent in Italy is 14, but only if the other party is within two years of their age. These legalities vary by venue, therefore the legality issue is not what is at issue in this instance.

This is part of the issue with the Internet... your 14 y/o Italian porn (with 2 x 14 y/o stars) might be legal there (?? I don't know, but you seem to imply that it is above ??)...
But that is NOT legal in the US, where the age to appear in porn is 18+ (across the country - not state-by-state).

I do not envy the staff who have to decide what is "legal age" and what isn't - ESPECIALLY with the onslaught of non-professional postings: OnlyFans, Twitter, and other large providers of short clips have no record-keeping requirements like professional studios do...

I know of at-least-one 12 y/o girl who was "publishing" sex videos with her 13 y/o boyfriend on a site where both used ludicrously fake IDs to get an account. They were "discovered" by the girl's older brother, who was apparently a collector of porn videos - at 15!

And pardon my hubris, but anyone who says that they can spot an underage performer is demonstrably a fool, and a moron to boot: Look at the earliest videos of Austin Young! He could have passed for a 13 y/o for christ's sake! But he had ID that proved he was 18... and look, sometime, at Asian Twink porn! Some of those guys look downright pre-pubescent, but have proven their identities to be 18+!

So what do you do with content that's posted from Twitter? There is no age requirement (at least not 18+), or record-keeping requirement there!

This is largely the same issue that all-but-took-down the *Tube sites (PornTube, XTube, PornHub, etc.) - some of their submissions were coming DIRECTLY from underage performers (no need for pedophiles to get involved, the kids were posting their own selves - their own content, no adults needed!)

It's a "can of worms" - and one I'm glad I don't have to dig into: as the father of 9 kids, I have nightmares of seeing one of my kids in a porn download! (Not that I would object if one of my adult kids wanted to go into porn - but I would NOT want to watch it!)

@bi4smooth said in Is it just me? WHO pulls out of a fine ass to cum on a dude's face?:

I don't get it... SO MUCH porn these days features this "ending"...

2 hot guys fucking - sometimes even flip-flopping - and at the last minute... when the top is about to cum... he pulls out, quickly re-positions himself, and shoots his load on the other guy's face... not even in his mouth, just "across his face"...

Porn directors like to show cum shots on screen, presumably because they believe that's what the audience wants. I agree that's it's unrealistic--in real life fucking or sucking, most guys (giving or receiving) want an internal cum shot.

Another "unrealistic" part of porn is that the actors never communicate what they want--the director is telling them what to do. The best sex happens when guys say what they like--and don't like--as they're doing it.

All good points... the "external" cum shot (what we used to call the "money shot") has to be visible (as in unwritten rule) - tho I find it EXTREMELY HOT when I guy cums in the ass and you can see his cock pulsating the cum into him - you can literally see the tube along his shaft pulsing with the flowing cum... that earns a rewind and cum shot of my own, usually!

I just (personally) like it when they pull out, cum to show you it's real, then plunge it back in to get the full "force and effect" of the orgasm...

Porn is 100% about fantasy - and mostly about picturing yourself as one of the players... maybe bottoms like it when a top pulls out and cums on your face?

You are not guaranteed unfettered free speech - ANYWHERE!!
Even the Government can limit speech in certain circumstances - but Twitter isn't the Government - and neither are they a monopoly (or even a regulated provider, like your local TV Station! Twitter is not broadcast over public airwaves)...

Your (falsely) perceived 1st Amendment right to post your political views on their (privately owned) platform is running head first into their actual right to do whatever they want with their property!

If it makes you more comfortable, you can always check to see if a studio's website has a statement of compliance with US Title 18, Section 2257 (which requires producers of erotic material to keep records proving that all models were eighteen years or older when photographed or filmed). Most websites have this, alongside an email or mailing address of the custodian of records who can be contacted if need be. The links to these can usually be found near the links to other legal information like their privacy policy.

For the record, 19nitten does have such a compliance statement, as does East Boys, so I assume they're legal in the sense that they're not child pornography.

Absolutely... and that works for "professional" content... but have you browsed the torrents lately? There is a TON of "amateur" content - it's the new fad!

A girl in a local nearby town had a huge "coming out" party for her new OnlyFans account - a big house party, where at midnight she opened her OnlyFans account - because it was her 18th birthday! (She thinks she'll be one of the "stars" who makes 6-figures from their online content!)

@nikolaos84 said in Infatuated with a straight/bi guy. Mixed signals. What to do?:

It seems to me that he wants to be st8 but he cannot ignore his natural urges for men. Sooner or later he may come in terms with his sexuality but that should not be your concern at this momnet.

I had a similar experience which did not end well. If you can stay in the safe zone of sexual encounters then it is ok but if you have feelings it is better to take your distance from him. This guy will never accept you as a central part in his life, he does not respect you and he refuses to give you his phone number. You will only be a fringe part of his life and he will come to you only when he will want sex with men.

There are many men out there who would be more open and available for you, don't be disapointed.

      I agree - only partially - with @nikolaos84...

First, I agree that if you continue to force yourself and your feelings onto him, you're almost certain to lose him (not to mention drive him deeper into his "closet"...

It's never easy - for any of us! - to come to terms with the fact that we're not wired the way "society" says we're supposed to be wired! For some, "bucking the norm" is easy, and for others it's nearly impossibly hard.

That said, I wouldn't write him off completely: you never know when he'll wake up and realize that dick/ass makes him harder than pussy! When he does, you may or may-not be there to reap the rewards. It may be next week, next month, or in 40 years (yes, when he's in his 70's! I've seen that happen!)

If you can step back, accept him for who & what he is: a hot fuck who is unsure of his sexuality. Enjoy the sex, maybe let it also blossom into a friendship, but do not try to turn it into a relationship, nor try to make yours some kind of monogamous thing.... instead, try to help him explore his sexuality... try new things with him (clothing/costumes, light bondage, whatever.. let HIM suggest things... but let him know "it's just sex play"... nothing "serious"...

Of course, if we could turn our emotions on and off, life would be soooooo much simpler... it's entirely possible that that kind of relationship with him is just impossible for you... in which case, you can leave him or drive him away... if you continue to pursue him too aggressively, surely one of those 2 options will come to fruition!

Good luck! I hope you have some great sex and he eventually figures out how queer he is - and accepts it (and appreciates you for being patient with him)!!

    • Star Trek Discovery TV Series

      Re: Star Trek Discovery

So, I thought I'd re-start this discussion, though not so much as in how it fits into Star Trek as a whole, but instead on the LGBTQ+ themes throughout.

DO NOT READ if you haven't watched through Season 4, as I make no qualms about revealing plot lines here! SPOILER ALERT!

To start, I am a huge Star Trek fan, I have been (when much younger) to more than a few conventions (tho not in DECADES now), and find something to enjoy in all of the spin-offs. I'm REALLY enjoying the "Strange New Worlds" that has newly arrived - especially with the return of episodic television! But this is about Discovery...

That said, here are some things I hated about the first 4 seasons of Discovery:

      • The first few episodes make it clear we'll be focusing on Michael Burnham - a black, female Star Fleet Officer who right at the get-go ("The Vulcan Hello") decides that she's smarter than the rest of Star Fleet and disobeys direct orders from her captain - even to the point of mutiny! Like such a personality disorder wouldn't have shown up BEFORE she'd advanced to her rank of Commander! They should have made it less a choice of hers, and more a requirement of some kind - of a choice of bad options and worse ones... not just that she knows better!
      • The first season circles around the whole "infinite alternate universes" plot line that is de-rigueur in current Sci-Fi (from Star Trek to Spiderman!) - while, of course, ignoring the obvious: how could you possibly "jump" into such an alternate universe and see the same people!?!?!? (I hate "multiverses" in SciFi, even in 1967's "Mirror Mirror" episode of TOS!) I was happy to see the end of Season 1, though less so with the carryover of the Philippa Georgiou character into later seasons.
      • The Discovery writers weren't loath to copy another "cheap crutch" from TOS - specifically in "Operation -- Annihilate!" when Spock is blinded - except that he has an "inner eye lid" that magically protected him (and hid itself from all of the Dr.s scans until the final scene). Puke! There are several (OK, a few) occasions in Discovery where everything seems lost, save for some miraculous last-second capability or technology "discovered" that saves the day in the last 30-seconds of the episode. Puhleeeese!
      • I did like the plot-line about Control - the self-aware AI that, like all good SciFi, decides to "protect us from ourselves" and eventually decides we should just be annihilated. (Sound a bit like "I, Mudd" from TOS? Yeah, I thought so too... but on a wider scale... I didn't mind the borrow here, as they took it in a whole new direction!)

But what I really wanted to talk about here were the efforts this version of Star Trek has taken to be "inclusive" in casting.

      • The primary character is a black female
      • Her captain (Philippa Georgiou) is an an Asian female
      • The Dr and chief engineer are a gay-male couple - 1 white, 1 black
      • During the course of the series, "partners" are mostly described with that word, though occasionally a "wife" or "husband" will slip through. I liked that - it seems "futuristic" to me
      • The President of the Federation is a white woman (albeit a Cardassian/Human mix)
      • The President of Vulcan (now named Ni'Var) is a white woman
      • The head of the military on Earth (United Earth) is a black woman
      • The President of United Earth is a black woman - laughably, Stacey Abrams, she of failed GA candidate for Governor, but successful GA Democratic activist, fame.
      • There is also a young Trans couple: Adira (human) & Gray (trill) - for whom the other crew members dutifully use the pronouns "they" (for Adira) and "it" for Gray... but I did kind-of objected to the idea that the only "foster parents" these two would have are the gay couple. I also didn't like the idea that in the Star Trek future, LGBTQ+ people would still be considered "different"... I have higher hopes for our distant future, our current present course notwithstanding.
      • I really REALLY enjoyed the casting of Tig Notaro, a lesbian comedian, as a bluntly brilliant, sarcastic, lesbian engineer (I know, save for the engineering degree, not much of a stretch from her comedy character). Still, I loved the dry wit of her character and felt she was a great asset to the cast! IMHO.

Honestly, though, especially when they popped Stacey Abrams on us as the President of Earth, I originally found the casting to be laughable and obvious - an about-face to standard casting! All the best, smartest (non-crazy, anyway), most important human characters were black women or gay men! (Save for 1 Admiral in the future...)

BUT - when I stepped back and considered this, I changed my opinion and NOW think "turn about is fair play" - not having white men in charge, or in any real "leadership" (or "hero") capacity is for me now (as a white male) what people of color and LGBTQ+ people (ok, like me) have been exposed to since the dawn of television!

So, please comment below - assuming you've watched the show - about the LGBTQ+ characters in Discovery - what you liked and didn't like about their storylines, or the casting, or whatever... I'm curious to hear how others feel...

But Twitter is a rather large corporation... so this ain't that...

If Twitter went to court to allow this shit, it would be OUTRAGEOUS!!!
But Twitter didn't - once "higher ups" in Twitter were alerted, the shit got cleaned up... pronto! ... so this ain't that, either...

Corporations are made up of people. People (all people - even you and me) make mistakes. We (sometimes corporations, but always individual people) have to pay for their mistakes. Not fair that corporations often get "let off the hook", but hey: life ain't fair (Did ya catch the hyperbole in there? did ya? really? it's in there!)

The issue in the other forum, @raphjd, is that you EXTENDED Twitter's mistake to assert that their Terms of Service did not outlaw what you termed kiddie porn. And Twitter's own statements - in the article you linked us to - makes it clear that this is a false assertion.

      A) It seems this was an error made by an employee, and not (at any time) someone in any leadership position in the company, and
      B) You cannot claim that selective enforcement invalidates the entire ToS (or even that little part of the ToS)! Even if they chose to only enforce the "kiddie porn" rules on female victims, it wouldn't invalidate the ToS! Neither would it stop them from re-evaluating those "enforcement" decisions.

Honestly, I think the idiot who reviewed the case initially had a gender bias and didn't think guys could be victims in "kiddie porn"... I'd venture to say, if they still have that job at Twitter, they're better informed now!

That is, admittedly, my own pure and unadulterated conjecture!

    • RE: illegal file

      @adonismix said in illegal file:

You're right that nothing is absolute. There are, unfortunately, unscrupulous people out there who will flat out lie about the age of the people involved. On other websites, I've seen people upload known underage videos and magazines while claiming the subjects are adults, and if I didn't know what they were, I'd have easily assumed they were telling the truth. (I've also seen people flat-out upload videos and photos of little kids, which is its own problem, but thankfully doesn't seem to be an issue here.) This isn't even touching the issue of fake IDs.

I think the only thing you can really do is report it if you see something that looks wrong and exercise caution as best you can.

That's the system here: see underage? report it, and it will be removed. People who consistently upload under-age content will be removed, too! LOL

    • RE: Need Advise about Fisting

While this article is mainly focused on fisting for women (vaginal), all of the points are good and valid for anal fisting as well

      Top tips:

      • Be patient! Don't measure yourself against a porn video!
      • LOTS & LOTS of lube! then add more lube!
      • Be patient!
      • DO NOT USE numbing agents (including lube with numbing agents in them)! Pain is a bad thing and blood is a bad sign! If it hurts, slow down. If it bleeds, STOP for now!
      • Be patient! (You don't have to take a full fist the first time!)

      Oh, and BE PATIENT!

      FWIW: I've been a fisting top since my 20's... 🙂 🙂 🙂
