@nix54 The Torrent side is having technical issues beyond our control. Just need to wait for it to be resolved. The Forum site and the Tracker are still working fine.

@MrMazda it still works, and it also prevents the update service from being restarted by any other service. The only way to reactivate it is through wub itself. now that i give it a thought i dont really know if it still works since i don't update mine since idk 2024 so idk it works at least for me

@baddawg Thanks. I opted for a Trigkey G4 N100 mini-PC in the end, and started porting everything over to it a couple of days ago. It's a bit of a slow process transferring lots of files over, but I'm getting there. Currently have it set up with 4 USB HDDs connected through a hub, plus of course the old NAS drive available too. The Plex library isn't very large yet, as I've normally deleted stuff after I've watched it, but I'm sure it will grow with time. I've also got all my porn running through it, and though I know PLEX could probably handle the job it would mean spending a lot of time reorganizing everything, so for the time being I'm going to continue running StashDB on it which is fine for local access. I'm not sure If it will allow remote access yet, so I'll need to investigate. The N100 is struggling a little bit right now, but I'm asking a lot from it. Once I've got everything moved around and all my scans finished I think it should be OK. Torrents are taking forever to allocate for large downloads, but that's probably due to all the other stuff I'm doing with the disks at the moment. I'm hoping it settles down eventually. As for power, I tried running my gaming rig through a power-monitoring smart plug for a couple of days, and at idle it drew around 0.12 kW per hour, costing roughly £0.85-£0.90 per day if I left it on. The N100 is sitting at around £0.10 per day, so the £150 to buy it should be covered in around 6 months. Not bad at all IMO.

@lunaopp1 I did. Turns out JFF is only using a rather weak DRM called Clearkey. And luckily someone just released a tool to extract decryption key from Clearkey last week. [https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/414140-[Release]-Widevine-L3-Guesser-Extension-Works-in-2024-Firefox-Chrome-All-OS/page12] So here's the steps: Download the encrypted media files using The stream detector extension and yt-dlp. [image: 1715497192409-stream-detector.png] [image: 1715497207446-cmd.png] (After copying download command in cmd, you need to add --allow-unplayable option, otherwise yt-dlp will only download audio file.) Using Widevine L3 Guesser Extension to acquire Clearkey decryption key pair. (You don't need to setup CDM to use the extension, since it's not about Widevine.) [image: 1715497676154-guesser.png] (If the extension didn't detect clearkey, you can also find the entry in browser's web console in dev tools) [image: 1715497865422-dev-tool.png] Using ffmpeg and decryption key to decrypt and merge file. (Although MP4Decrypt is also a tool you can use, it outputs corrupted audio file when decrypting. No idea why.) [image: 1715498761066-ffmpeg.png] In the future, if JFF switches to other strong DRM like Widevine, the second process of acquiring decryption key will be somewhat more complicated. But the steps to download DRM content should be the same. @Goodtime9 Check this thread https://community.gaytor.rent/topic/64782/stashapp-free-open-source-porn-organizer?_=1713800544885 I've been using Stashdb, and apparently it should be able to rename all my files with a combination of parameters added to the name such as studio, resolution, date, etc. Had no luck so far but I'm sure that's down to me doing something wrong rather than the software as others have said it works for them.

@rnd256 It's almost always cheaper to buy the enclosure and source the drives separately. Keep in mind that Synology will only give you their best warranty if you use 100% of their products in their NAS. This, of course, depends on the consumer laws where you live.
