This simply means that one of our staff has promoted (or refreshed) the torrent to make it appear back at the top of the list. If you look at the first line of the description, you will see the original date that it was actually uploaded. As for the SBP, the SBP is deducted from your available total, however because you are the uploader who receives these points, they are immediately credited back to you, seemingly cancelling out the transaction. Simply put, it is a torrent that was uploaded by you at some point in the past, which has been brought back to the top of the list to help revive it.

Thank you for the clarification, that is what I thought but I never like to report unless I'm 100% sure, I think the mods and staff have enough to do so only report when 100% sure. Thanks.  :police:

It means the file has been previously uploaded but has been removed. Most likely this is because gtru received a copyright infringement takedown notice.

Have you tried clearing your cache & cookies and restarting your browser? Also, have you tried more than one browser?

@aszxdcfv: Wouldn't the client report the "stop" behavior to the tracker so it can remove the user from the seeding list? How could it not report the upload traffic also? Just my guess. I'm not an expert of it. You would think so, however it seems that this does not happen and that any data transferred from the last up to 30 minutes before stopping the torrent gets lost for some reason.

I usually skirt around the issue by doing the force start/resume to force the torrents to keep seeding/leeching.

@neony: seeds are peers that have completed downloading the contents of the torrent (or a subset they selected) and are therefore offering uploads only. This contrasts with leachers, which are peers that are still downloading. Not quite… In order for the system to acknowledge you as a seeder, you must have downloaded 100% of ALL the files, not just the ones you have selected. A leecher on the other hand generally is in the process of downloading the torrent's contents. Simply put, they have not yet downloaded 100% of ALL of the contents. This count will include people who have for example downloaded the video file, but not the pictures, or users who have only downloaded some of the videos in a collection.

This error happens when you have a large number of files in the torrent. This is most common with picture sets, or extremely large video collections. If you have any photo sets in the torrent, I would suggest combining the photos into a ZIP or RAR format to reduce the number of files. Just be sure that any actual videos are NOT in a ZIP or RAR format.

Yup! Torrents that aren't being seeded… are dead! Not sure why that's puzzling to you, or surprising to you, but perhaps I missed your point. Torrents are either dead, or being seeded, those are the two possibilities. Maybe your surprise, or confusion is based upon the fact that dead torrents aren't shown on the public list of torrents, unless a member specifies "Including Dead" in their search, as such: https://www.gaytor.rent/browse.php?search=&incldead=1&inname=1&infn=1&orderby=added&sort=desc Take care, Pawpcorn GTRU Staff

I just experienced something similar - although my upload was several files in one torrent. Was yours just a single file or more files in a compilation? https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=56744.0

My guess is that most people who take their time to contribute with uploads do so with the intention of sharing something for other people to enjoy. And yes, it may happen to be a duplicate. Some torrents are uploaded under different titles, and there's a chance you won't find the original upload, even when searching quite thoroughly for it before making an upload yourself. If it were to be punished making a mistake, it would probably also deter people from attempting to contribute

It is really hard to say whether or not you have your port forwarding setting correct based on the screen cap…. The reason being you cannot upload something to users who are not downloading the torrent. With no leechers, there is nobody in which to transfer any material to.

This error happens for one of two reasons… Reason #1... There is one or more unsupported characters in the filenames of the contents. The second reason is that there are too many files in the collection, which sometimes happens with larger collections. If this is the case, I suggest putting any picture sets into ZIP files so that it reduces the number of files. As long as video files themselves are not in an archive format such as ZIP or RAR, you should be good to go.

It sounds like you do not have the correct port forwarding settings configured on your network. The other problem with this is that your torrent client seems to use a random port every time you start it up. This can become problematic…. See... In order to get optimal upload traffic, even when you're not leeching the torrent or are the only seeder, you need to ensure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded to your computer, both in TCP and UDP. To do this properly and securely, you need to first turn off the random port option, so that you can forward just ONE port to use with your torrents. Once this is done and incoming connections can be properly forwarded through to your computer, you should notice a HUGE difference in the results.

If the file is an exact duplicate, you can re-seed the existing torrent, without needing to upload it again. Can you confirm whether or not the file you have is an exact duplicate?

@MrMazda: I would strongly discourage this practice. Not only is this a great way to land yourself into trouble, but PayPal also has a clause in their terms of service that prohibits their service from being used in any way to promote the delivery of adult content, so doing this would also violate PayPal's terms of service. ok thank you for the information

If you see duplicates please report them. You earn 50 points per duplicate if its deemed a real dupe when  the report is processed. DUPLICATE files are not allowed and will be removed. You are expected to run a search for duplicates prior to submitting a torrent. Duplicates may be accepted when part of a themed collection. A file is considered a duplicate if an existing torrent has the same format and similar size (<10% difference) and has at least one seeder.
