"whatever measure to keep it discreet"
first step, which you already failed, sadly: not asking in a public forum visible to anyone on the internet.

Things might look very different out of the box but there are settings that can be tweaked to make it look like it was before, people just need to take their time to read and observe.
@Gaykai666 to be fair, there's so many changes in terms of functionality, that i am considering creating a changelog with everything to help users configure everything to their preferences. In the user settings there are so many new options to configure virtually anything, including the option to make the search panel sticky (fixed) or static (like the old layout). I use the static one, because I have the same opinion that it takes too much space.
@idumy once the freeleech time ends, any transferred bytes will count towards your ratio.

Am I the only user that despises the new layout and functionality?
Honestly what are you even talking about, It's not that different... You can still use the current layout in the new site. Dare you tell me that the current layout is visibly appealing and I will kick you in the balls.
@wolfn1cksw you remind me of that guy who was arrested because he asked chatgpt for tips on how to murder his own son.
Not to say it's the same request, only that you're just as clueless, which in itself is a hint that you're not the right person for the job.
And I'm supposed to help you out of my good will, only you'll benefit from my tips? Nah, I'm good.

This tool is intended to easily start re-seeding files that you have in your storage and that are not currently being seeded.
What it does:
It uses a tool called Everything to instantly fetch a list of all existing files, and then performs a search for matching filenames and sizes present in the torrent file.
After adding the torrent file, you'll see a list of all its content, and a search button. Once you hit search, it will send the signal to Everything looking for matches.
When matching files are found but they fall outside of the expected torrent's folder structure, the app allows you to copy or move your existing files into a valid structure that will allow you to start seeding it.
If it finds files within the original torrent's folder structure, it will show you an option to copy the path so you can easily add it to your torrent client. If it identifies an installation of qbittorrent in your machine, it will also show a button to start re-seeding the file automatically.
Currently, it is possible to start re-seeding a torrent even if you don't have all files, but in this intial implementation, it will try to download those missing files. To get around this, it will require a more complex qbittorrent implementation that relies on the WebUI, which is something most users don't even have enabled by default.
Some important notes: this is a standalone app, you don't need to have Everything installed to use it. If you do have Everything installed, you can still use this app, but it will not make use of your existing instance or its database.
Everything is built exclusively for Windows, as it relies on the NTFS Master File Table, a massive index of all existing files. This allows for instant indexing, so even if you have dozens of Terabytes of files, it will take only a few seconds to load everything.
Since there is nothing similar to the MFT for Linux or Mac, this tool will stay being exclusive for Windows.

If you choose to give it a try, please leave your impressions and suggestions in this topic, as well as any issues or errors.
@jokuihmemies it's still in beta, what i can recommend you all is to add the link as a bookmark in your browser
@jokuihmemies i judge
that mf had me create a new filter for all my rss feed entries to avoid automatically downloading that garbage, if this is allowed then it's time to change the rules!
P&D section is an echo chamber, I'm not sure if it once was a decent place but that's the current state. Go check the posts, they're all by the same two members, most have no reply whatsoever, the few ones with replies are the same two members agreeing with each other.
Most forums forbid politics but over here one of the site owners is in the middle of it, but the feature to hide sections and block certain members exist for a reason.
One typical internet behavior that we are all familiar with: when things work nicely, you don't get to hear a word from anyone. As soon as something changes, the same people come out of nowhere screaming "wow this shit sucks, who agrees with me?"
While testing the new site, many were the times when I opened the page and rolled my eyes thinking oh no, yet another thing that was working just fine is broken. The same time it would take me to complain in the forum I used to write the admin, explain what's happening, explain why something is not ideal or could be improved further.
I've never seen a website take user feedback so seriously and so quickly. For someone who's seen the new site being built practically in real time, we have come so far in such a small time frame. Here I was thinking it was practically done, that this new site was the gift, only to learn it's just the beginning? I just jizzed a little while I typed that!
A year ago I was posting in the forum that this site was abandoned, not a change in a decade, and then out of the blue a completely new site is here ready for us to try and help improve it.
Also, I am writing a change log for people to have a more comprehensive view of how much was added or improved, how much liberty we have to make the site look exactly how each user finds best.
Thank you mr Joker, and all the people who are taking their time to help improve it by tracking bugs, suggesting changes and new features.
@trueform you cannot have two different accounts sharing the same IP, but one single account can share multiple IPs. You are free to seed from a seedbox and from your home PC at the same time.
It originates from Japan and stands for Boys' Love, it was primarily a genre in manga books but it has grown in scope to describe any piece of media depicting romance between young men. Typically, western media doesn't fall into that genre, it is more or less restricted to asian manga books, novels and tv.
@cinemaxos1 requests are banned anywhere in this site, so you'll have to trust your gut and upload what you think will be interesting for the most people.
Whatever you upload will be better than not uploading anything, but in any case, know that here in the forum you can get assistance to download your wishlisted torrents if they fall under a certain criteria.
Depending on the size of the torrent and how many seeders it has, you can ask the mods to make it freeleech, so you can download it without decreasing your ratio.
As a rule of thumb, chances are higher if the torrent has less than 5 seeders, but if it's a very big collection it might be accepted even if it has more.
@Kevin4fm if you check the tooltip for "filename" you'll see that it refers to the name of the torrent file. You'd never get any result for "lettuce_eaters.mkv" simply by enabling the filename option, unless if that's exactly the name of the torrent file.
