RE: Tracker Not Working
@john32123666 @Kevin4fm the tracker's code is being updated more frequently because of the new site, so it can be offline for a while. Even when the tracker is offline, once your client is connected to other peers the download/upload will still occur, but the traffic will not be registered... So when you notice the tracker is not working DON'T close your client or you'll lose your session's traffic forever!
Once the tracker is reachable and a reannounce occur it will sync up the traffic.

RE: I can only seed for 1 person, and that's it.
Low upload speeds can reduce how much you seed because BitTorrent usually prefers peers that are faster and easier to connect to.
Another common issue is carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT). Some ISPs make multiple customers share the same public IP address, which often prevents port forwarding from working properly.
When that happens, your torrent client cannot accept incoming connections from other peers. You can still seed, but only to peers your client connects to first. Other people cannot freely connect to you. This becomes a bigger problem when many users are in the same situation. For example, if both you and another peer are behind CGNAT, neither side may be able to connect to the other directly, so no data gets shared between you.
That is why some people seed much more easily than others, even on the same torrent. The most effective fixes are:
- using a seedbox
- using a VPN that supports port forwarding
- getting an exclusive IP from your ISP or VPN.
A VPN with port forwarding can solve the connectivity issue, but if your upload speed is still very low, faster peers will usually be preferred over you whenever they are available.
Some ISPs and VPN offer you an exclusive IP for a price, usually it is very expensive or reserved for business plans, and with your low speeds the cost are unlikely to be justifiable.
To me, your best solution would be to rent a seedbox, but if you cannot spend any money on this matter, you will have to be very mindful of what you download.

RE: Turning 36, Still Struggling To Find A BF
Mate, let's be honest... I'm pretty confident that you're insufferable. It's been >10 years that you've been whining about how it shouldn't be this hard to find a bf when you are such a catch. It really isn't that hard... You don't have to be smoking hot or have the perfect job to find a bf.
It sounds like you've been trying really hard to find a "boyfriend" wth is even a boyfriend mate you're 36 years old, it's time to start naming names and say out loud what is it that you're truly looking for. You want someone who's got a stable job? a good income? who is fit? pertains to a specific age group? political views matter to you? What is a boyfriend after all?
Isn't this perspective overly romantic and childish? I think it is. The perfect guy will come in and you will be twice as perfect together, you'll never ever affect each other because you're both perfect already, you won't have to change a thing for him and he won't have to change a thing for you.
You said you're attractive, tall, financially stable, chill... Those are very nice things, they put you in a position that usually tend to boost your morale. Chances are people are interested at first glance, but it seems that one night stand is enough for them to reconsider.
It ought to be something on your end, if you really can't find anything it is definitely time to put the boyfriend hunt on a halt and start looking for that instead. You can make all the therapy you want, if all you do is complain about how bewildering it is that nobody wants to date you no therapist will ever be able to help.

RE: Is gay-torrents.net down?
@MrMazda said:
Also, FWIW, I did a little digging and it seems that their site IP address has been changed to 192.0.2.1, which is particularly interesting as this is a particular subnet that is not routable to the internet and is not intended to be used for live internet traffic. This suggests something more nefarious has happened. That is most likely the easiest and quickest way to make the site unreachable, and it could be a rule set either by the hosting company or cloudflare since both are parties in the lawsuit.
About the case itself, I have made a few posts in that very same forum topic that is mentioned in the article, and it led to something that was an immediate red flag for the site's security and members privacy. I have contacted The Man himself about the matter and after being ignored I decided it wasn't safe to be there and requested my account to be deleted. They didn't find themselves in this unfortunate situation due to lack of advice, that much I can tell.

RE: FlavaWorks is suing 325 gay-torrents.org users. You maybe one of them.
@sabahiya they are so aggressive in their harassment strategy that they will just sue anyone without any substantial proof. If the CEO, who is the thinking head behind this modus operandi, decides that you are an offender, he will come after will.
I am one of the 325 members in that lawsuit, alongside with every single member who have interacted in the FlavaWorks thread. I don't live in the US and I have never downloaded any FlavaWorks material and I never will because, I apologize in advance, but I'm not interested in their selling point, to put it more respectfully...
They always have the weakest defense line possible and the weakest proof, if any... But they keep winning because they keep suing individuals instead of the website operators. You will always end ip spending a lot more than what they're asking from you if you decide to defend yourself. It's also very damaging to have a lawsuit in your name involving a porn studio and many settle just to get rid of it.
Despite the copyright laws being applicable in most countries, they only sue in the US, because it's the only place where they can weaponize the judicial system to their own benefit because it's extremely expensive for most individuals.
