@jokuihmemies That's what I'd like to know. The only way in should be with an invite, and if he has a friend on the site then surely he must have run out of invites by now, what with the number of times he's been kicked. If he is getyting invites off a friend then they must know what's going on after bringing him back so many times, so I'd vote to kick them too.

If nothing else this is a perfect example of why I was so against someone's suggestion that we start handing out random invites on Reddit.

    • RE: Usernames being revealed in emails

@Kevin4fm It just strikes me as odd that my on-site mailbox maintains anonymity yet off-site emails don't. I'm sure the powers that be will weigh in at some point. 🙂

    • Usernames being revealed in emails

Denfinitely one for @joker to perhaps take a look at.

I sent a PM to an uploader earlier using the "Send Uploader a Message" button on a listing. My mailbox on the site shows the reciever of the message as "Anonymous" in both my inbox and sent messages. However, the site automatically sent me an email notifying me of their reply, and the subject line read "You have received a PM from <their username>"

I can't help feeling this isn't the intended behaviour and that the username shouldn't be revealed in emails if it isn't on the site.

    • RE: Formatting in torrrent details

@Kevin4fm Yeah, I don't agree to having it in priniple. I just feel that people are trying to go overboard and doing too much.

I did message one of the uploaders above about the grey text on a grey background and he was very helpful. He wrote back and said he appreciated the feedback and changed the text to white so it would be readable. Having to do so for each and every listing that goes wonky would take ages though. I think it's better to limit things, if only a little.

    • Formatting in torrrent details

I have to say I'm not a fan of the (new) ability to use coding for the torrent details. In my opinion it just makes the listings look tatty when people don't know how to use it properly, and it leads to messy and unreadble info.

      Some examples:

      Screenshot 2026-07-08 171730.png Screenshot 2026-07-08 171801.png Screenshot 2026-07-08 171818.png Screenshot 2026-07-08 171832.png Screenshot 2026-07-08 171839.png Screenshot 2026-07-08 171920.png

My personal opinion is that everything looked much better when everything was just in plain white text with line breaks.

    • RE: What to do after seeding torrents in the website?

@Kevin4fm I'm just thinking about some torrents that I've tried grabbing over time where despite only having been recently uploaded and showing at least a couple of dozen snatched copies they drop to only 1 or 2 seeders within a couple of days. Perhaps it's not as widespread as I sometimes think it is.

The last downloader is never going to reach that ratio, which surely discourages people from downloading once they realise that.

Hence the "OR at least 72 hours" but it's obviously not something that would be welcomed here.

      @MrMazda said:

There is no set time requirement on how long to seed torrents, unless it is a torrent you have just uploaded.

      Perhaps there should be.

Over at Torrentday you are required to seed all of your downloads to either a 1:1 ratio OR at least 72 hours within 30 days, the idea being to discourage hit & runs. If for any reason you can't then you can pay off any remaining time/MB with upload credit or points. I've advocated for doing the same here in the past but it was never taken up. Perhaps Joker and the rest of the staff here might have a discussion around it? With the whole site being updated now would be the ideal time to make the necessary technical changes.

@jokuihmemies It's funny how many of these request threads come from people who have only joined the forum in the last few weeks. It's almost as if they haven't read the site rules.

    • RE: few unknown porn-twink vids

This is a friendly copy/paste of my response to others in the past, and no disrespect intended:

I will not even attempt to help with any such questions unless the poster supplies screenshots in the post. I'm bored of switching VPN locations, allowing cookies from websites I don't know, and being asked to verify my age.

Posting a couple of screenshots saves 50 others from having to go through all of the above. 🙂

    • RE: What is the best client to use in 2026?

I started on Azureus, and have stuck with it throught the years as it changed to Vuze and finally to BiglyBT, the latest incarnation. Does what it says on the tin, but has a lot more options than many of the other clients I've tried. Like @ianfontinell I love having the ability to set categories and tags for my downloads, and automate a lot of them based on where they came from.

    • RE: can somebody help me download this persons torrent?

@moonfilms00i8 There are no seeders right now, so you won't be able to download. You can press the Request Reseed button to ping people who have downloaded in the past in the hopes that they still have it and can seed, but it's very hit and miss. Sometimes you just won't get it. Ever.

The good news is that it doesn't hurt to keep it open in your torrent client in the hopes that it comes back at some point.
