You're right, there's a time limit - I just hoped there's another way of changing description - but since there's no way (except asking helpdesk all the time - which is exhausting), I'm going to suggest time limit to be disabled in "Suggestions & Site Feature Requests" place. If the drive was clicking (not the ordinary seeking noise, I am talking about a loud unusual click) or made a "clank" type sound then the computer died, the heads are probably gone. This is usually the way they go. Anyway, if that is the case you can fix it by buying an identical drive and replacing the heads. Once it's repaired you'll need to transfer it instantly to a new disk. Look on YouTube for examples of the procedure.

@Bluesurfer: @wedge: What's the real deal? There are literally thousands of torrents of practically every studio/genre. Why is that some torrents are quickly taken down while others stay there for years? I can't believe other studios don't use the DMCA and associated features. What's the real philosophy here? One can't find MuscleBearPorn or StudFist videos, for example, and these are not major studios either. Hot House Club Inferno, Lucas, MEN and dozens of other big shots' videos are easily available. What gives? What you should understand is that when torrents are taken down it because the site has been issued a legal notification alleged copyright infringement, such notice containing the needed information to prove that the torrent in question is their legal property.  The site does notify the uploader of the notice and gives the uploader an opportunity to refute this claim, in which case the torrent is (if the uploader sends the needed proof that the torrent in question actually belongs to them) then put back up so other members can again download. Failing to get confirmation from the member who uploaded the torrent in the first place that it is their legal property, the site has no option but to remove the material in question.  Failing to do so can result in the site being sued along with the member who uploaded the material.  The end result would be that the site would end up being sued out of existence, resulting in all torrents no longer being available for anyone to be able to download.  I know it is frustrating when this happens (from personal experience), but I would rather loss one torrent than the entire site and I suspect you would agree with that? Thanks for the detailed response. It does make some sense now.

During one of the last freeleech events we were told to disregard ones without times remaining because coding of the label had left the FREELEECH designation on those which had expired. I figured something like that might be the case again. @cannonmc: Old torrents may still have the yellow Freeleech line but if they have no 'time left' under that they are not freeleech If it is the case that they're no longer FREELEECH, then these 13 torrents exist now as anomalies, left to cause a minor confusion. I'm curious, if they were to be placed on freeleech again for say an hour—returning the time-remaining countdown to their search boxes—would the label then finally be deleted after that new clock runs out, restoring them to their correct, non-FREELEECH labeled statuses? :thx:

Popper's comments make sense. The built-in forum PM system had a security flaw (don't ask, I'm not a techie) so it had to be shut off to protect our members.
