I feel your pain as I too seem to get re-seed requests somewhat frequently for torrents that I either deleted or have transferred to another network resource location. Sadly, there is no way to avoid receiving these messages.

Hi, youngla, thanks for writing… I just checked a search for torrents that I recently downloaded, and as you say, they are now shown in a very subtle difference shade of green, and yes, it's not as noticeable as before. I'm certain this was the result of software changes made on the website recently. Your second issue of older torrents not showing up as (light green) you having downloaded them before...??? Sorry to say, but there was a "cleaning" of the database a while back, and it had the unfortunate effect of deleting the entire older history of downloaders for each torrent...  :afr: Soooo.... It's not YOU, and you're not going crazy :cheesy2: and it's nothing you've done wrong, it's just the unfortunate side-effect of the above-mentioned database cleaning, here on the site. Your solution to redownload the torrent, is probably the best solution for this situation, since it's clear you're depending on that green shade on the torrents search... to show you which ones you've already downloaded. Sorry about these issues, and thanks for the terrific explanation of your perceived problem. It made checking the issue, and responding to you, a lot easier than what's often the case...  English is a lovely language, when used correctly, and to perfection. Take care, Pawpcorn GTRU Staff

That torrent was first moved to a non-public listing, to allow downloading members to get the complete files, and then deleted as duplicate to this: https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=41b0ec0dbd5ea18f9d0d80d45800467011ac996111873b99 However, it looks the deleting script got a glitch and didn't delete it completely from the data base, making it an 'empty' entry. The SysOp is aware of the issue and still investigating on its exact cause.

CCninja…I can't tell you how great it is to download the Quicktorrentmaker and upload some content. Not only is it dead easy, everything is pretty much done automaticlly (you just need to take screenshots to add in the pictures), but your ratio increases really quickly, plus you get given bonus points by some of the other members when they say thanks. I downloaded barely anything during the freeleech, and what i did were small files. I spent most of the time adding torrents and my seed ratio is now above 1.0. First time ever i have uploaded more than downloaded. Maybe my uploading frenzy caused the issues lol. But just saying that is another (and really good) way that you can improve your ratio.

In passing if you open a torrent file in any text editor the first line contains the name of the site. A very slim hope if you use uTorrent and when you remove a torrent from your list you DON'T say 'delete torrent' as well you may find a list of opened torrents in C:\Users_yourusername_\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent if you are using Windows. But I'm thinking this is a lot of work…

Those messages are actually based on the time zone of the server. The only thing that changing your time zone setting (which can be done in your forum profile settings) will do is change the date and time that appear on forum posts to make it show the date and time in your local time, instead of the server's time.

I wouldn't be so sure of that… Our site owner often uses his iPad to poke around the site. While it may not be all that mobile friendly, it is compatible with an iDevice of any sort. I've also found it works equally as well on an Android device too.

@cannonmc: "It is the product of size and duration. 1 GB for 24 hours needs 200 points. 2 GB for 24 hours needs 400 points, or 2 GB for 48 hours needs 800 points. Points needed = 200 points * size in GB * duration in days Sorry, no discount for the uploader." Popper

Thanks cannonmc and popper for your helpful remarks. Neither point of information was immediately obvious to me, though it may be hidden in plain site in the FAQ or other secret location. That's a time joke. Laugh when you have time. The suggestion that possible points givers should be able to find out whether the points are NEEDED is absolutely rock solid but is still waiting some Authority Figure to take action. Grrr. In a way, good to know my own ignored suggestions are nothing personal. I chimed in enthusiastically a year or so ago when I found a member asking for FreeLeech torrents to appear in some way so that one could search for the ones about to disappear and thus in need of a prompt response, and so that those newly added to what may be a three or even four-page list would not require endless examination and re-examination in order to keep on top of new additions. After all, the easier it is to find something to download in a timely fashion, the more seeders/leechers there are for that torrent, possibly even more bonus points, and certainly those sorts of things help everyone, right?

Duplicate account issues can't be resolved through donations.  Only by following the instructions in the system warning PM or indeed by asking for assistance on the Helpdesk.

If you mean you want to keep a list of movies that are here and you want to download i time, just click on Wish List on the main Search page. Then you can check what you've listed by showing Wish List movies. If you mean you'd like to grab movies that haven't yet been posted then the Request Forum is there for you

Sorry Cannonmc. I have to agree with d0llyd4ddy, when you look up mature in the Urban Dictionary you get the following meaning: mature 1. Content that is to be kept away from anyone under 18 at all costs. 2. In porn, pictures of nasty old ladies naked.

Activate in your Profile Settings to see those categories and then they become available in the category drop down list at upload.

As I quote from Joker's, "he country list is pretty much incomplete from the very beginning…." So, I think it is not intentional and for other reason too. If I can suggest, you may request to add the country name in the list through Helpdesk or "Suggestions & Site Feature Requests" Forum thread.

@Popper: As far as I remember, that is one of the few perks left for Power User (and Torrent Moderators) Ah! Thank you for that. Probably explains it. I was a power user before, and could view it. this stopped at or around the time when I ratio dropped. I will prop it back up again and see if it works! Thanks everyone for the responses!
