@Jockscott: … Didn't actually say that I couldn't find anything that appeals to me.  Of course I've used the facilities on the site and have uploaded a few of my own. As I said before, a bit of imagination wouldn't hurt, most of the new stuff in my opinion is very similar.  This section is entitled Rants and Raves after all.  Think the vintage section is the best. It is fully OK that you express your opinion on the lack of variety in shared files. There is a real danger, that a dominant offer leads to a spiral effect that members not interested in it leave and there'll be less uploads of other content. Therefore it is important that members share what they can, especially if there isn't much offer available in a certain niche. All kind of (gay) content is welcome inside the limits of our rules. I've seen many very positive comments to torrents which share less mainstream content and these get as popular than standard stuff, because everyone into it will download them, while in mainstream the offer is that large that members are more selective.

My latest epic fail in Waterloo Region was the day I had to drive to Simcoe because I sliced my hand open quite good (good enough to require stitches) and was profusely bleeding all over the place in the ER waiting for just over 45 MINUTES before walking out of the ER figuring I'd rather die trying to make it to Simcoe than die waiting in the ER. It actually sickens me that to this day, I never got a resolution from the hospital's administration team about that one.

@kojote: I upload music here.  I try to upload music that other members will enjoy, and it is nice to get a point or two, not because I need the points…but it lets me know that what I uploaded was liked.  The points are great.. however, knowing that I am contributing something of value to the site is more important. I love you.  :hug2:

We had an 18 inch (about 24cm) upholstery needle in our new leather sofa. Thankfully we followed the directions and used the "oil" wipes on it before sitting on it, otherwise my partner would have had a serious hole in him because it was between the 2 back cushions on his side.

I always had good luck with a Cavalier. I had a 1996 Cavalier for a couple of years, and it was the most die-hard car I had ever owned up until I totalled it. It had some 185,000kms on it when I first got my hands on it, but two years later, I had racked it to just over 410,000kms and it still ran like a dream. I actually recall having laughed at my room mate the one day because his brand new Pontiac G6 wouldn't start when in the insulated garage with the fuel line anti-freeze, but no block heater plugged in. I went out to my trusty old rust bucket of a Cavalier in the -42 C weather, and tried to start it. The funny thing was that it sounded like a dying animal at first, but it started on the first try. They really are the iron horse.

I understand your frustration with the news feed. Unfortunately, we don't frequently update that on account of the amount of work that it takes to do so. This is why it generally only gets updated around major events and upon major promotions, like Global Moderator additions.

I am one of these users, not my fault thought. @amice: … but there also are some users who simply can't change this status, as their ISPs didn't give them a public IP address. without this, it's impossible to be connectable... I am active only then I come back home. All other time I am as passive as you can get. I am talking about connection

@MrMazda: I didn't know of the existance of that website. You see, every day you can learn something new.  (Have a look around on that site, there's a lot of "old stuff" to find)
