:true: I've always tried to send some bonus points or at least click on thank you to let the uploaders know I appreciate the effort and also give extra to the ones which I want to see more of. It's a small token for the effort they put in, and helps let them know which ones I really enjoyed.

I always put in on the married party because after all, they're the ones who took vows so if I sleep with a married man, it's on him, not me. I took no vows to be faithful. That said, I think it varies from person to person and marriage to marriage. I can imagine circumstances where it is ok to sleep with someone who is married. That doesn't mean it's always okay, but it also doesn't mean it's always wrong. When you're talking about things as complicated and complex as human relationships, absolutes won't get you very far.

Although not everyone follows the rules, let alone reads them. Thanks for the link, I for one had not seen it or rather I should say it never registered when I did read the rules  :blondmom: but I am glad it is there, now I guess we just need to find out why the mods are not enforcing it.  Possibly one can pop in and give us an answer to the question as I for one would like to know.  I know I upload multiple torrents at the same time but they are completely seeded within 3-4 hrs with most of them taking less time than that.

Thanks for the info I abandoned my quest not too long after I posted my rant. I figured the incremental gain of compiling FFmpeg with that library was not worth the effort. Compiling is definitely a viable barrier to entry for noobs like me who don't really know how computer software really works haha. So just happily converting my videos using the basic build. I suppose this detour in video editing/formatting was just a distraction from my earlier project of cataloging the collection.

@spam17: It is not clear to me on how I can reupload files.. ??? If you have a file which matches the torrent just download the .torrent file and point it to the files already on your hard drive - your torrent program will hash-check it and thus revive the torrent if its a 100% match.

I don't like it because it is used in oppression olympics. It is used by people to erase the struggles and discrimination other minority groups face. It implies that these minorities have the same privileges of straight white men which simply isn't true. Also I wouldn't label a person who is transitioning or has done as a "trans-man" or "trans-woman" they would simply be a man or a woman.

I don't know if this 95-posts-overnight person is taking the piss. But there is a small protection. See that little box marked 'report to moderator' at the bottom right of each reply…?

@Bluesurfer: The issue for me is the posting of a torrent under a different name, with wrong information etc… something that I don't believe is something that is done in error. Well after saying that off I go and end doing exactly that, posting a torrent with a different name and wrong information.  I corrected the error as soon as one of the members let me know (THANK YOU), but I was wrong to say it can't be done in error.  I've just posted this to say SORRY for not looking at this issue closer than I did.

@horyna: I agree that 500mb of pictures are worth a new torrent like you describe it. What I meant was: nowerdays clips/movies come with 10 or 15 pictures at most and so an extra torrent with the size of 3mb is not necessary. I don't have any problems with folks putting 10 or 15 pictures with a torrent myself and you're right an extra torrent for them would be a waste of time.  Where I get ticked is the 514 or worse yet over 2000 pictures with a couple multi media files thrown in!

I think that's a great idea to do a cleanup of the themed movies.  If nothing else have Gay Themed and Straight Themed seperate because clearly there are a number of straight movies in the themed movies section.  Personally I don't have problems with regular movies being uploaded as torrents as I personally enjoy many of these movies, as well as the gay themed movies and have downloaded a number of them myself.  It would also make it SO MUCH EASIER to search for gay themed movies rather than find out after you have downloaded it thinking it was a gay themed movie that it wasn't.  I have to admit that I was one of those members who uploaded a straight movie and after seeding it I was surprised to see that more than 35GB of the file had been seeded from my bittorrent and it was clear the movie was just a regular movie, not gay themed.  Unfortunately after all the nasty comments, I just deleted the torrent just to stop them.  I didn't know at the time that only GLBT movies were to be uploaded but after asking for advice from a moderator who indicated he thought it was a good idea to delete it.  But….. I do believe there is a desire by some of the members to have more than just GLBT movies for downloading and possibly the site can do a survey of the members to get their views and/or suggeations.  Just a thought! :thx: ;D

I agree. If people want to make the victims' families and the community feel better, they should talk about the real issues and stop speaking nonsense. It sucks because when people lean on religion for a solution it almost feels like there's nothing they can do to help fix the real issues.
