I recommend using @MrMazda's link for uTorrent 2.2.1. I use 3.5.5 only because that was the easiest fix for me when I was in 3.6 hell. Everything pretty much works now and I'm reluctant to do another version change, but if I were starting from scratch I'd go with 2.2.1.

@Symphonia-0 Actually, yes... It does. It's not free, but it's a one time purchase of an app called iTransmission, which is available in the Apple App Store. For an Android device, I would be inclined to recommend Vuze. Now, that being said... Power settings among other things need to be tweaked to make it work in the background, otherwise the app stops when it's not active and up front.

@fanfan00 it could be that your ISP is throttling you. Have you tried a VPN such as NORDVPN? They have free trials. I sometimes have to use my VPN to download things.

@john32123666 Is there a downsiide to not downloading all the files in a torrent? I never considered this, although I have noticed that torrents don't seem to SEED until after they have completed downloading. I assumed that "Don't Download" counted as being complete in regards to the torrent's status.

@tnar Actually... getting some files completed rather than have them all complete at the same rate seems to speed things up. I noticed something else. The files set to high priority that don't complete seem to have some packets tied/overlapping with packets of low priority files. So, this phenomenon probably only shows up with collections of mixed priorities. I tried to test this by setting the low priority files do DO NOT DOWNLOAD to see if that prevented the high priority incomplete files from completing. It did NOT. The high priority files not only completed, but also the files set to DO NOT DOWNLOAD completed.. making me think those DO NOT DOWNLOAD packets are tied to the packets in the other files.
