If it says 8, before downloading anything you will need to pause your downloaded torrents, I can explain later if you're interested, but pausing them and waiting a few minutes will get you able to download new stuff. If it says you're downloading 2, means you need to upload more before being able to get more stuff.

@tacoyamafan qbittorrent has a cool feature that allows you to create your own tags, so you can keep track of your torrents based on your own criteria. I have a tag made specifically for partial GT.ru torrents. Whenever I select only a few files from a torrent, I add this tag. Whenever I want to download something I can easily pause/resume all the torrents with this tag. Some things to consider is that this pause/resume status can take a few minutes to be updated in the server, so the best thing to avoid being blocked from downloading, it is best to leave a few of those torrents permanently paused.

@MrMazda The QTM utility needs work. It won't make a valid torrent for uploading a folder, and although it made a valid torrent for uploading a single file, the file is not uploading nor downloading.

@MrMazda Btw, since you are the moderator, may I ask, the "Announce url" on the profile page, should that or could that ever be accessed by the browser? I do get the same timeout issue there. Thought could maybe narrow down the issue..

@tnar I never consider the port forwarding rules bc I never consider this a "problem" I have utorrent and seeding on all my desktops and laptops its a home network but beyond that I only noticed one machine gets faster service than the others. The others "eventually" get it or able to seed I was just "curious" about the observation.

@frostycab thanks for your reply I was thinkin the same thing. I am going to continue to seed it forever bc its on my drive and plenty of folks are "after" it apparently since it was so large they probably started it then it was removed. I don't care in this case of getting credit for it its my give back plus I'm curious to see how high this will go its already almost at the 2tb stage.

I recommend using @MrMazda's link for uTorrent 2.2.1. I use 3.5.5 only because that was the easiest fix for me when I was in 3.6 hell. Everything pretty much works now and I'm reluctant to do another version change, but if I were starting from scratch I'd go with 2.2.1.

@Symphonia-0 Actually, yes... It does. It's not free, but it's a one time purchase of an app called iTransmission, which is available in the Apple App Store. For an Android device, I would be inclined to recommend Vuze. Now, that being said... Power settings among other things need to be tweaked to make it work in the background, otherwise the app stops when it's not active and up front.

@fanfan00 it could be that your ISP is throttling you. Have you tried a VPN such as NORDVPN? They have free trials. I sometimes have to use my VPN to download things.
