Internet Download Manager problems

HI, I tried IDM for donloading a movie but it seemes like there's some kind of security in place. The download stops at 30%. Afterwords the movie cannot be watched anylonger on that device for a few hours. Does anyone have any experience with tjis issue? Recomendations for settings or alternative tools?

BTW. i mean downloading a movie from a site other than GT. (streaming site)
