One thing you can do (to insure that your computer is easily visible to other members) is to check that the port your torrent client program is using is properly forwarded. Here's a tutorial on just that issue: Port Forwarding MINI-Tutorial (updated 6/23/2017) https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=46634.0

I see that you are using Linux… Also, that error message suggests that you are using Transmission. When Transmission says that a torrent is "Stalled", generally it means that there is no activity on the torrent within the last however long your threshold settings are set to. This is not a problem necessarily, as it just means that there has been no activity. What catches my attention though is that the tracker says you are using a different torrent client. I'm not sure how you'd check the tracker state or error message in the torrent client the tracker says you are using (or otherwise have used). I would imagine that the problem is that you're either not able to resolve the tracker's IP address. This is the most common issue with tracker communications, aside from the tracker timing out occasionally. To ensure you are able to resolve the IP address properly, I would suggest changing to Google DNS by using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS server settings.

Actually, with some torrents and some torrent clients, this is not unheard of. It's nothing to worry about though

were you trying to upload pictures? Other members had already uploaded the total quota for this movie, but they hadn't been approved yet, by staff… so all you saw was one or two pictures... ...now there are eleven (now approved) pictures.

@wohdin: That's not how torrents work. The torrent files you download from the tracker contain your account credentials, which is how your upload and download traffic gets tracked in order to give you the credit you earn. You do not need to be "logged in" on the website for it to work - they're entirely unrelated elements. Did you even read what I wrote? You have to be logged into the website to send the .torrent file to the website, and to get the .torrent file you need for your torrent client. Once you have that file, whether or not you are still logged into the website is irrelevant. Nothing I've said contradicted what you have stated.

It would appear that the site is recognizing that you're seeding the torrents, it's just that you're not getting any upload traffic. The most common cause of this is that you do not have the port that Vuze uses forwarded from your router to your computer in both TCP and UDP. Once you do this, your problem should go away. Also, I see that you are seeding a number of torrents for which there are few other seeders. I will freeleech these torrents for 156 hours to help you get some upload traffic. One of them, you are actually the only seeder on, so it should start to pickup for you soon.

No… Once a .torrent file is created for an upload, the contents of the torrent cannot be modified, added to, or deleted. If you have made an error however, I can arrange to have the original torrent setup to be pending removal so that you can effectively replace the torrent, unless there are 3 or more videos, in which case, you can upload the whole collection as a new torrent no problem.

I see that you have indeed uploaded a torrent, and that it has taken off well, so I've sent you a little SBP reward to help get you out of low ratio status. Once you cash in the points, there may be a delay of up to 15 minutes before the system will restore your download rights. This is normal, so don't panic if it isn't quite an "instant" process to get your download rights back.

@MrMazda: I am working on the Helpdesk request for this now. Due to the sensitivity of what needs to be discussed, I will leave my reply in the helpdesk shortly. I can give general information here, but in your case, this will require discussing information specific to you and your connection that would be best left discussed in private. Thanks for caring about this :hug2:. So far, my total Up. shows in utorrent is 8.92GB now (image 1). I have to quit seeding now, because as you see, the Upl. is not increasing normally in my profile (image 2). This is a severe problem that the Number of Uploads is not 1:1 count synchronously. It means I have lost my Upl. 8.92-(22.23-20.84)=7.53GB in the past seeding. I hoped this can be considered about and seize back my loss of Upl. PS: Also the tracker is working normally (image 3). I don't know what is this problem. [image: 102029_1.jpg] [image: 102069_2.jpg] [image: 102071_3.jpg]

@Popper: A torrent needs to have an "age" of at least 7 days to be possible to be made Freeleech. That refers to the date/time in the "Added" information. So it is not possible to make a new upload Freeleech right away and believe it or not, we Moderators can't make a torrent freeleech at all  :blownose: THE HUMANITY!!! lol old posts but you are answering all my questions.. since i want to freeleech some of my stuff and can't but now I get why. But to clarify - if i freeleech someone else's I get the SBP?

The problem is that these categories are disabled by default, along with the scat category. To turn these categories on, click the "Profile" tab at the top of the page, then check or uncheck the checkboxes for the straight, bisexual, and scat categories as you so desire them to be set. When done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit Changes". Once you do this, you should notice these categories suddenly appear throughout the site.

@jb420: @au034: @Pawpcorn: Earned seed point bonus is flat rate of 1 point every 2 hours… whether seeding 1 torrent or 100 torrents. Thank you for your response. This is quite strange because I feel that I have earned so many Seed Points Bonus over the years because I try to keep at least 6 files seeding all the time here. I always thought that seeding each file will earn me 0.5pts every hour? I feel that there is no point of me seeding the other files anymore Anyway, thanks for clarifying the situation. I had the same impression that you got points for every file seeded. I wonder if thats a recent change or if ive just be mistaken this whole time. It does take away incentive to seed miltiple files which other folks may want but if you only get credit for one why would anyone seed more than one. My ratio is fine so i dont even ned to seed to keep that up. I was also under the same impression. Yes, you only get 0.5 bonus points, irrespective of the number of torrents being uploaded at any given time. As Popper said, upping multiple torrents does affect your ratio. Say you're upping six torrents and have upped around 1 GB in an hour, you will get the corresponding uptick in your ratio. Still, I also don't like the miserly 0.5 bonus points per hour. It should at least be 1/hr

There is no limit on the total number of torrents you can upload in a lifetime at GT.ru, however there is a limit on the number of files in the torrent that the tracker will accept. I just don't recall what that limit is off hand.

Yes, that is how it is supposed to be done. The important thing is that there are two torrents listed in your client as you say "… opened it in uTorrent so it made a new torrent. ..." and "... Now I have 2 torrents pointing at the same file ...". Then each tracker will get upload/download information from the client separately. If the client wants to add the other tracker (announce URL) to the already existing torrent, because both torrents got the same hash, don't do it. This is good for public torrents only, not for private tracker torrents. The client will mix up uploads and downloads from and to both trackers peers and therefore the ratio etc on both trackers. This might get you banned on private trackers. If both trackers torrents got the same hash, you could run two different clients, e.g. µTorrent and qBittorrent, or two instances of µTorrent (it is described on their site how to do that) with in each one of the two torrents.
