So I noticed the same thing.  I sent a message and they responded with the same answer.  So I've left my computer on for 3 days straight, no stop in Uttorrent and the same torrents loaded. July 1:  UL  53.89  DL  23.20  Ratio:  2.322  Utorrent: UL  7.3 GB July 2:  UL  54.16  DL  23.20  Ratio:  2.334  Utorrent: UL  6.2 GB July 3:  UL  54.42  DL  23.20  Ratio:  2.345  Utorrent: UL  5.3 GB July 4:  UL  54.48  DL  23.20  Ratio:  2.348  Utorrent: UL  4.1 GB So I've uploaded about 23 GB and my Ratio has gone up 0.26 in 4 days…..

You get 0.5 SBP per hour that you seed at least one torrent. As for uploading a torrent, the only way to get additional points from it is if someone leaves a thank you on the torrent and adds SBP on top.

@Leehoudin: I would like to add a torrent for seeding files that I have on my computer. However, bad ratio is not letting me download the torrent file. What can be done? You're probably not seeding it correctly. The tracker does not prevent you from downloading the actual *.torrent file.

Have thorough look at the rationator figures. You wrote yourself that you minimum ratio was 0.55 after you downloaded further you crossed the step where your minimum requested ratio is now 0.6. This ratio step is your problem. A tip: watch your ratio carefully - especially when you are near the border to the next ratio step in order to avoid such surprises. To see the Rationator 3.0 steps just click on your ratio below the blue menu bar

Let me at first make some facts clear: Your ratio is only calculated by your upload traffic divided by your download traffic. Seed bonus points (SBP) are only used to add to your upload traffic, in your case 100 SBP = 1.0 GB = 100 / 2.140 GB x 1 GB = ~0,04 % increase. (all values are rounded). You get SBB for the time seeding 1 point for two hours seeding time. The number of torrents is irrelevant, only the time seeding counts. I see members here which seed >200 torrents at the same time: nonsense, their client uses probably more time to manage the seeding torrents than to look out for more downloading members for a few torrents. @tkhuma: … the upload speed is ridiculous and most of the time nothing happens ,-... For the upload speed see MrMada's answer, btw: if you look at his posting you can see easily he is a GlobalModerator (and another btw: has much more knowledge about IN-technology than I have and probably will ever get) @tkhuma: meanwhile I seed on other torrent site at 600 kb/s depending on your speed and the swarm-size that can easily be explained. @tkhuma: (and I've tried stopping these to see if things got better on GT.ru, not the case),  on GT.ru it usually remains below 1Kb/s . Well - to dig deeper we need a IN-speed diagnostic from a widely accepted source like www.speedtest.net and mail us your results. The effective upload speed is influenced by numerous things: most important: connectivity of the clients, the available ressourses for uploading, # of leeching clients in the swarm,#of seeding clients in the swarm and may many more. @tkhuma: I was previuously seeding huindreds of torrents See my remark about seeding many torrents! What we didn't discuss up to now is the question of ports; open or closed, firewalls and so on. All things GT.ru has no influence. Our tracker has the only task to to convey IP-addresses of seeding/leeching clients - the transfer is the client's duty! see also my message https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=30593.msg145307;topicseen#msg145307 in this very forum about port forwarding and telated stuff @tkhuma: What could have been changed in the last few months to make it this way? … In case you did read and understand my last paragraph you can answer this question yourself: NOTHING and your problems are the connections between your client and other clients. That's the reason BitTorrent is called a Peer to Peer network meaning: it is not centrally organised. @tkhuma: Can a mod/admin help ? At least MrMazda and I tried

    Let me explain a bit for you: | Torrent name                            | freeleech from      | up to                | download finished | delta time | | mem solo amador | 2019-1-20 19:42 | …-25 19:41 | …25 20:28 | +39 min | | Bulldog (Brendan Byers) VS Stefan | 2018-07-16 21:59 | 2018-07-17 21:58 | 2019-01-20 21:33 | > 180 d | Shall I continue? caveat: leeching a freeleech torrent is free until the freeleech time is expired.

Limits are dependent on your ratio, and your account status. Depending on a number of factors, they can change. For example, when you reach a low ratio status, it will limit you to 2 downloads at the same time. When your download rights are taken, you're limited to downloading one torrent at a time, and only from the torrents that are freeleech.

It sounds like your problem is a combination of two things. The first is that there do not appear to be very many leechers actively downloading any of the torrents that you have in your profile. If you were to start seeding torrents, I can see what I can do to correct that part of the problem. The other part of the problem has to do with your port forwarding. I would be very surprised if you have correctly setup the port forwarding in your network. See, you need to make sure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded in your router to your computer, both in TCP and in UDP. Without this, getting any kind of upload traffic with our tracker can be very difficult.

Yes, your ratio is simple math… After your donation (which credited you 20GB upload credit) you downloaded over 5GB of videos, with limited uploading... which resulted in your stats changing (as you can see by visiting your profile by clicking on your member name, top left) Uploaded 20.40 GB [Daily: 5.10 GB] Downloaded 5.22 GB [Daily: 1.31 GB] Share ratio 3.904 Here's some advice; focus on the port forwarding and more: .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  . To assist you in maintaining a good ratio into the future, here's some advice that may help: ======Advice for Our Members; How To Maintain a Healthy Ratio====== You should check to see that you have port forwarding set up properly. Your computer is much more difficult to "see" (IE your downloads can be painfully slow, and members have a harder time uploading to, or downloading from your computer), if your torrent client port is NOT being forwarded. Here is a MINI-TUTORIAL I wrote up on this topic, in the forum: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=46634 A small donation can resolve your ratio problems quickly, while helping us cover the numerous expenses of continuing to host the GAYtorrent.ru site. Upload your OWN torrent. It's easy to do, (just make sure it is not a duplicate) and then all that upload data credit is YOURS…at least until other seeders join in DO NOT STOP your torrent nor torrent client, after uploading completes. KEEP IT RUNNING, so you can continue seeding to the next members who want this video, and help improve your ratio. If it's your FIRST successful upload, you can request to be rewarded with a 600 Bonus Point AWARD(!!!) which can be traded in for 10GB of UPLOAD CREDIT!!! Here's the link to the forum topic that covers the rules and procedures for the FTU (First Time Uploaders) program: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=20636.0 It also includes the link to the FTU moderator, so you can PM him with the details of your first successful upload (as required, to receive your credit). If you ever wish to earn upload credit for reseeding videos (where you already have the video on your hard drive), the illustrated procedure is here:  https://www.gaytor.rent/uploadguide.php#95 The best way to continue to earn upload credit is to seed EVERYTHING you download, forever. This means DO NOT STOP your torrent nor torrent client, after downloading completes. KEEP IT RUNNING, so it can seed to the next member who wants this video, and help improve your ratio. While continuing to seed, you'll be earning a bonus point every two hours you offer to seed, regardless of whether other members are downloading from you or not. Keep a very close eye on your Ratio, since it will take considerably more time to UPLOAD than it did to download. I would suggest you activate certain columns in your torrent client, so as to keep a close eye on each torrent statistics, in the future. On most torrent programs, you can right-click in the column headings and choose additional columns to be able to view. I personally recommend "Name", "Size", "Done", "Added on", "Status", "Completed", "Down Speed", "Up Speed", "Seeds", "Ratio", "Peers", "ETA", and Tracker" as essential information and sort-columns. On most torrent programs, you activate these headings by right-clicking on the headings, and selecting and de-selecting your headings, as needed. You can also re-size the headings, by clicking and holding down on the right side of the heading, and dragging it a little bit to the left. You can reposition the columns by clicking (on the column heading) and holding down the mouse button, dragging the column left or right, as desired. Initially choose only new torrents to download that seem popular, to insure that you will have others downloading (from you, to raise your ratio) after you finish. Our site runs a bit different than other torrent sharing porn sites, because of the vast number of new torrents that get uploaded every day. This tends to make the "popularity" of new torrents be rather short-lived; thus you need to really choose VERY RECENT torrents to download, to share, when trying to repair your ratio. Freeleech Torrents can be downloaded without affecting your ratio. Even with download rights taken away, you can download any freeleech torrent, as long as it stays freeleech: Torrents which are freeleech will give you whatever you upload added to your ratio… but the size of the movie wont be added to your download, which means that it will only be a positive effect on your ratio (or neutral, if you dont upload anything at all). Do note: if the freeleech timer runs out however, whatever's left on the torrent will be added to your ratio. Here's the current list of freeleech torrents; They have NO negative effect on your ratio, as long as they remain free leech, however they do tend to have MANY seeders: https://www.gaytor.rent/browse.php?showsearch=1&infl=1 After you download, in order to earn upload credit (sharing) you must keep the torrents running, keep your torrent client program running, and your computer turned on and connected to the internet, preferably ALL the time, if at all possible. You earn 1 bonus point for every 2 hours of seeding regardless of whether or not anyone is downloading from you. You can also perform many tasks here on the board in order to earn Bonus Points, which can be traded in for Upload credit to improve your ratio. If you click on your Ratio: ( https://www.gaytor.rent/rationator.php ) you will see many various ways to earn Bonus Points, besides getting a detailed explanation on how your Ratio is maintained. Read the Rules ( https://www.gaytor.rent/rules.php ) , and read the FAQs ( https://www.gaytor.rent/faq.php ) Here's a guide for Starters: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=707.0 Here's Suggestions to Newbies: Getting off on the right foot : https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=13101.0 If you have any specific questions not addressed above, you can always write the help desk. This is an issue related to the latest version of uTorrent. We recommend using version 2.2.1. Also, you need to make sure that you add some port forwarding rules in your router to forward the port that your torrent client uses to their respective computers, both in TCP and in UDP. Without this, getting upload traffic can be difficult.

This could also be a sign of improper port forwarding settings on your network. See, you need to make sure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded in your router to your computer, both in TCP and UDP. This is a rather critical step to ensure that you can properly receive incoming connections. While you may be able to still seed on some trackers, even as a passive node, this is something that is very difficult to do with our system. So… You need to make sure that the proper port forwarding settings are in place.
