No matter what opinions come up, @raphjd will always have my respect and admiration, for reasons that will never be revealed.

Don't get me wrong - there's a lot to admire and respect about people that do not entail any kind of politics! And I personally do not consider politics to be bloodsport... I have good friends who are solid Trump supporters (even one who is certain that there is a secret plan for Trump to be restored as President next month). I have equally good friends who were HUGE Biden supporters in the elections - this year, and in prior Biden runs. On a personal level, we all know, love, and respect each other. (They know me as a Conservative and Libertarian)

I haven't seen a LOT of posts from @raphjd other than his political ones - and in those, he's pretty intolerant of opposing positions... But I DO note that he is an Administrator here... and that means he plays a significant role in making this site available, and I'm very certainly grateful for that.

I have no idea how he would be as a father, a teacher, a preacher, or hundreds of other facets of his life... and I don't hold his politics against him... but that doesn't mean I don't challenge his generalizations and radical statements, either!

It discouraging to try to keep a good ratio if the tracker only logs a small percentage of the data. The only way to keep a good ratio nowadays is to upload which promotes reposts and lazy collection torrents.

My own tracker (qBittorrent) reports how much data is uploaded - and I am on a VPN (NordVPN, to be exact)... and I've noted as well that my ratios are way off as reported on the site vs. my tracker.

Specifically - over time, my own client reports that I've uploaded about 2.5x the amount I've downloaded.... but I've been stuck - FOR YEARS - on this tracker at about a 0.83 ratio.

Mind you, after being here for years, I've downloaded 23TB of data, and uploaded only about 19.5TB... (I almost rounded that to 20TB, but then i thought about it: that's 500GB of data I'm rounding! That's a LOT of data!)

My point is this: At 20TB of data (plus or minus), I've been making this work - even over a VPN and even using Linux (vs. Windows) clients - for a long time... be patient, and work within the rules.

Case in point:

In 2014, I attended a party - a mixed party: gay/straight, male/female, old/young - and there were about 50-70 people there. I was still at the end of a 4-year marathon divorce process, but i was "livin the single life" and made it clear to several people at the party that I was "available"... 2 days later, I got a text from an unknown number. This guy says we met at the party, and that another person there gave him my number. He wanted to have dinner. I wasn't sure WHO this guy was, but there was this dreamy 55 y/o guy there I had had my eye on. He too had kids, but he was financially well off and retired... (I was struggling financially because of the divorce). He was looking forward to traveling and "enjoying his life to the fullest"! Anyway, we had chatted briefly, but he had "moved on" and started chatting up a group of very young guys... message received.

But, now I wasn't so sure! The thing was: I was certain his name was Richard, and the caller's name was David. But, I'm awful with names, so I went on the date.

Instead of 55 y/o Richard, this beautiful 26 y/o ebony God sits down at the table, says HE is David, and he was so glad I agreed to see him. Well, I did NOT go home alone that night...

David, being much younger, was still a very active "socialite" in the scene of Tampa Bay's Gay Life... we were invited to parties, and David liked to go out dancing (I'm an absolutely horrid dancer!)... On MOST nights, David would point out guys who HE SAID were checking me out...

The romantic thing would be to say "I only had eyes for David", and while that is true, the fact is: I was as oblivious to their presence or interest in me as I was to David at that first party!

Hence: I HAVE NO GAYDAR!

PS: Sadly, David passed away in 2017 as a result of a medical missed diagnosis. My heart remains, to this day, broken...

Watching fantasy should not be confused with reality!

I don't have issues with anyone's fantasy - so long as it remains fantasy!

However, I know there are others who would ban certain kinds of fantasy porn - including dad/son porn - based on some of the kinds of posts in this thread.

ACTUAL SEX between a father (or even a father-figure) and an underage BOY is illegal, abusive, and mentally damaging to the victim. It is illegal in EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!

Even the ANCIENT GREEKS (by far the most homosexual of human civilizations) did not permit boys to be sexual with their FATHERS! They were allowed to choose their partners (and the relationships were more mentors and teachers and seldom, if ever, purely sexual).

Look, IMHO:

• discussing fantasy father/son sex is one thing - I've had much-younger-than-me lovers, and some even called me "daddy" (my own children do not use that term)
• discussing past events where you were a victim of real father/son sex is also fine, as it can have healing effects on the victim... But I think I'd balk at glorifying it
• discussing plans to, or past actions of, being the abuser in a real father/son sexual situation is illegal ... period.

So, where am I going with this?

Please make sure that, when you write about fantasy, you make it clear (somewhere) that it is fantasy...

That is about the time he left the organization... perhaps they just weren't aware of the extent? Or were unaware of the illegal (underage) parts...

I don't know - I'm not really following that story closely, for reasons at the END of this posting...

What I do know is that the organization stands for Conservative Ideals - many of which I agree with - but didn't "sell their soul" to authoritarianism or turn a blind eye to essentially treason in exchange for a Supreme Court judge or two (or three!).

I also know that I'm not one to throw around guilt by association claims or accusations.

If I did, most of the largest Evangelical Christian organizations in the US (not to mention the Catholic Church) would have been burned to the ground by now for the sins of their past leaders... Sins also against children
