I have always refused to own an apple phone/ipad for two reasons. 1) They have never added a memory card slot to any device. This then allows them to rip you off through itunes and device capacity, have you seen how much they charge for extra memory? Like hell I will pay that 2) They never allowed removable batteries for their phones, even though android is going that way now, but this has taken a long time. These are the two reasons why I have never ever entertained an ipad or iphone. I don't like any company that does this kind of crap. They sell you something and then kick you in balls for being stupid enough to be a customer, how nice of them… not. Its like a Lexmark printer, who the fuck buys one knowing you have to spend £50 on ink the week after? its coloured water for christ sake and its not worth £50 and they know it, but stupidly people do it.  :blink:

To add to that… "Gay" is not a scientific term.  You can distinguish between ABO bloodtypes with a test.  You can consistently measure Ph with a test.  But sexual orientation? One guy might describe himself as 'Gay' without ever having had sex with a man.  Another guy could have frequent sex with men and say he's Straight.  A third guy could say his culture doesn't use that word.  Another guy could say he's a pre-op Transwoman.  A woman could say she's a pre-op Gay Man. Even if you clear gender out of the way; Gay men aren't all equally attracted to the same type of men.  Someone could be attracted only to Muscle Bears and have zero attraction to Twinks.  Is he the same 'sexual orientation' as someone who is only attracted to Twinks?  I've had friends where we were NEVER attracted to the same guy. A piece of litmus paper doesn't react to certain types of acid but not others on a near random basis.

As others have said, you don't want to risk being homeless or the victim of violence, but I always think as early as you can.  I'm 35 and I came out as a Freshman in college.  The one single regret I have in my life, is not coming out sooner, in high school.

I've always thought it depends a lot on the person's emotional maturity, but I can hardly conceive it happening before being 13-14 years old. For me the keys are: 1- Do it with someone who you trust/feel a connection with. It's pointless to do it if you don't feel confortable around the other person. I'd say it's better if it's someone your age, especially while being a teen. 2- Try to be as best informed as you can (i.e know about how protection methods work, which ones to use, proper hygiene, the importance of lube and playtime…) 3- Communicate how you feel to the other person, do not keep your fears to yourself 3- Do not rush it, especially if you're dating someone that pressures you to have sex when you still feel scared about it.
