There's a potential problem in that idea that I see. Not all duplicates are identical duplicates, and depending on the mod that flags them, not all mods will freeleech the duplicate torrent. In some cases, the original is not quite an identical copy, and the original is too new to be made freeleech. This can create some problems with this process.

Normally, this is an automated process. With that being said however, it is an automated process that hasn't been run in some time, so unless something changes again, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I used the suggested [internal] URL format and it worked as expected. Thank you for helping determine the issue. Perhaps details.php could benefit from an isLoggedIn() function equivalent and redirect the user to the respective internal URL format.

If the client asks to 'merge', it means that the torrent is the same (hash) on both trackers. ATTENTION: Merging will result in the client to mix upload and download from peers of both tracker together. This will result in wrong UL and DL reported to both tracker! Which exposes a member to getting in trouble for cheating on both tracker. In your own interest, do that only with public torrents. Only if the two torrents appear separated, one for each tracker, you are save. A solution on same torrent is to run two different (instances of) clients.

We used to have a list of banned clients somewhere, but I'm not sure where that list has gone. I do not recall this torrent client being on that list, so you should be safe.

Mr. Mazada explained the reason what causes this particular dilemma you're experiencing. In addition, some members in the past would upload a torrent and include only one or two pics so they could go back to that torrent and add more pics to get the pic bonus points. This particular behavior created the pic lock out program. My advice is to add all your pics for that torrent as soon as you upload future torrents

It are 200 bonus points per 1 GiB (shown as 1 GB on the site) and day.

The original uploader is only notified of Reseed Requests if their torrent client has reported that it has downloaded it in full from the tracker. Whether this has happened or not will depend entirely on whether you seeded the torrent correctly in the first place. If you did, then you would not be notified. If however the original uploader registered with the tracker as a leecher, then their name would be added to the list, and as long as they are not #121 or higher on that list AND their account is still active, they would then get a notice also.
