@Aerethiel It is supposed to prevent that kind of thing in theory, but the big players to the market in Canada (Bell, Rogers, Telus, and Videotron) all have such DPI systems, which absolutely CAN and DO decrypt. Until Bill C-9 passed just recently, this practice was highly illegal, but since the passing of that bill, it has become the "standard" practice. There are other countries like Turkey that come to mind that have the same kind of DPI system. I don't know if their systems can read the actual traffic though to tell what kind it is, or if they can see the actual content as well, but I know in Canada (and likely also the USA), the big player providers (and by extension, the government) can not only see what kind of traffic is being transmitted, but they can also see the content of the traffic too. This means that for anyone who has smart home gadgets or appliances that connect to their home network, the government absolutely DOES know what you have, what you've got things set to, when you're home or not home, and so much more, as they read all the data from such gadgets to keep track of the people. It's actually kind of scary. Sadly even in Canada, especially with the recent passing of Bill C-9, a VPN doesn't help... It will keep other people on the internet from seeing what you're up to, or even seeing where and who you really are, but it absolutely will NOT stop the government from prying into your business.

@cp2000 there is an app on the mac app store called muxy that lets you combine videos and export them as an mp4, so you can take your faves and combine them and then watch them easily all together anytime. It is so you don't have to spend time putting the wall together each time.

Thanks for the info.  I had already Google'd and tried most advertised screen capture apps for the Mac - just wanted to find out what others were using.  If there was a quicker, simpler solution than I may be tempted into capturing and sharing more!  R >:D

What you say is typical for what cannonmc mentioned, you haven't got all the files in a torrent's file list as completed completed download, but only those parts which you've selected to download. The way you put it "(…) All my parts to a torrent file are downloaded fully. (…)" seem to confirm that. The question is not to have all your parts, but all files of a torrent. The torrent protocol knows basically two type of peers: Those which got all files of a torrents file list and can seed it all of them, known as Seed/Seeder and the others having not 100% known as downloading peers (or derogative leecher). So if you haven't got all files completely a tracker will count it still into the downloading group. Of course any amount of data you seed will be counted correctly towards your total upload. This is common to all trackers I know (and it are quite a few). If you say to have got all files (not only those you've selected to download), then it would be interesting to know what torrent client programme and version you use.

I have IDM (internet download manager) installed on my laptop and it gives you an option to download video files instantly when the video starts to play.. You can optimize it like "only download FLV videos.. or MP4 videos" etc..

This is a shot in the dark but you might try (if you haven't already) turning on MSI install logging so it's verbose, downloading the AppFabric installer from Microsoft, running that and then checking the logs to see if there's an issue with the prereq install; if not, then try running the Sharepoint installer and check its log?

Hi Krwing, I'm taking it you've remembered IGII. It's a good prog if you want some control over your images. If you want a blunt approach Media Player Classic will produce contacts of various sizes taking a snapshot a regular intervals. It does for most of my thumbnails if all I want is to suggest a flavour of the movie.

@bear1515: Well, Screenshots are good to make other people know what is the torrent about. And at last one is required to post it. Any player have an option to take a screenshot of the video. And in Media Player Classic you can go in File - Save Thumbnail, it will take a screenshot of many moments of the movie. It's the best way. And I have some questions if you don't mind. How does a blind person watch porn? Do you get only audio, or do you hear the audio of movies? And how do you know it's a good video if you can't see the actors and what are they doing? Forgive me for this questions, but I have these curiosities, hehe. I use audio. The audio has to be a certain way for me e.g plenty of verbal, etc. I hate music. Can't stand it. That's something I've never done is have someone describe what is happening in the video, but I certainly wouldn't be adverse to trying

Plasma died for a few reasons. First it far from being environmental friendly and it consumes much more energy. But the major reason, is that it doesn't last as long as other technologies. A plasma television, will have dead pixels, and you will have to trade it faster than any other technology. So why would you spend so much money on something that won't last long?

Are you sure you downloaded regular version and not non-codecs version? In Mint all codecs should work right out of the box. Check if you have this package installed, http://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/non-free-codecs If not install it. Otherwise try another video player (totem is quite good), maybe  VLC is bugged.

Windows Movie Maker is often "good enough", but don't botch the movie with anything ridiculous or overused… basic transitions and a non-default, but subtle, font should do. Also look into Microsoft Photo Story. It turns any picture set into a movie, complete with generated music, that would nestle into a History Channel documentary. And yes, you can narrate over it too.

Are there really non gay-friendly seedbox providers out there?  I think the bottom line for most is to take your money. I'm happily using Feralhosting.

Try using a VPN or seedbox. Private Internet Access is a good VPN with cheap membership, $3.33/mo if you pay for the whole year at once ($39.95/yr). https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/

@trentreviso: I did not know that the user agent for Chrome reported Windows 8 as "Windows NT 6.3" That has nothing to do with the used browser at all. All operating systems have all their own, unique ID. If you would like to learn more about user agent strings from operating systems, you might like to visit: http://user-agent-string.info/list-of-ua/os Windows 7 is the version "Windows NT 6.1" for example, but if the forum declares all "Windows NT 6.1" - Versions as "Windows 7", it is based on the fact, that the forum is modified with the information, that "Windows NT 6.1" is the name of the os "Windows 7". ^^

@chocslimgd: Do they have programs like that for Mac? For Mac you can use iMovie, I use it for cutting video up all the time - I think that'll cover your needs.

This would work without any additional program, if you have TWO sound cards.
