@lololulu19 If any studio is particularly on-point regarding DMCA infractions, there is no reason to expect them to be any less proactive regarding their older productions than they are their newer scenes. In the case of this studio, I have noticed a real trend of them releasing "new" films/DVDs that are simply compilations of some of their old scenes. Indeed, they seem to be one of the worst studios for do so. I have seen the same scenes crop up in multiple ostensibly new films. This, to me, seems like a huge "fuck you" to those people who still purchase films rather than simply subscribe to their site as they are charging premium prices for something the customer may already have paid for. It's not unlike those wretched trading card packs for kids that are sold in newsagents. The kids end up just getting the same cards over and over again with nothing new. Nevertheless, the studios financial interest in those scenes still exists, and as such there is no reason to expect that they will simply turn a blind eye to sharing of scenes they may have shot a decade ago. Also, while I agree that recent work isn't as good as it used to be, I don't see why that should have any bearing on their approach to DMCA breaches.

@cteavin This is probably because your ISP is super shady and has started throttling P2P traffic over their network as they are unable to distinguish the difference between legal and illegal P2P traffic. The only known way to get around this is to use a VPN so that your ISP sees the VPN session and not the P2P traffic within the VPN session. This type of traffic shaping is illegal in Canada without technical justification.

@frostycab Some studios hire law firms that have automated bots which troll websites (particularly known websites) if trigger words come up. Since it's a law firm, versus the studio, that sends these out, some websites (and particularly the web-hosts or the webmasters) have some responses set to automatically comply when these are received - so there's no real review or verification process involved. As you noted, what searchable terms are used is one thing that prompts these trigger words for law firms.

@sirtricksalo QTM does not provide a way to select any executable, it works stricty with utorrent. If you start using utorrent you'll notice your torrents being automatically downloaded and loaded into that client. If you use any other torrent client you need to visit your "my torrents" page and download it manually. After that the procedure is the same: you need to point the download path to where your files are located and wait for the integrity check before you can start seeding.
