Confused about "Bonus Points"

Looking at the FTUP, it looks like every bonus point is worth 16.7 MB. is that correct? I often give out 250 bonus points.. which would be worth about 4 gigs.

@lololulu19 All depends on how the points are spent. They could use the 600 all in one go to get 10Gb, but they might also trade in 400 for 2 invites.

@frostycab Basically, the more you spend in one go, the better the return. Trading in 100 points is only worth 1GB, making each point worth only 10MB. I'm not sure I understand what's confusing you.

@frostycab basically, the confusion on my part is that points are worth over 10 times what I thought they were worth.

@frostycab Right you are, there is no confusion here. The math involved is fifth-grade division -- easy enough, even for adult nincompoops who have been on this site forever.
A red herring so we can be (not at all) impressed by the grandiose 250 number claim. And that endless, endless need for attention.

On point, however, only power users can use the invites.
