At the bottom of the torrent description page you should see a "Report Torrent  Click here to report this torrent to staff for violation of the rules"

As someone who has struggled to learn even how to upload and make a contribution to this site I am very glad of the rules and of the swift response I always have when I ask for help of the mods.  As someone who is hyper-sensitive    and has taught English for 30 years yes, sometimes information and warnings could be phrased differently, but at least they are clear and unequivical. No doubt some changes and revsions could be made, but it must be remembered that the Staff and the Mods give of their time freely and I for one intend to support them in as positive way as possible. Just one word to assure the current "assumptions": @TwjT3NEc: Just logging in should keep your account alive. It not only should, it will The period is in fact 180 days for active accounts - that is: for accounts with a download/upload of more than 2 GB. Not active accounts will be pruned 90 days after their last login to the site. But you will also get a reminder mail around once a month after your last login to remind you to login to our site.

Sorry I missed your posting, I was very busy the last week bringing our chat to life again. The current state is: our servers were moved to another building and are working ok. Both the site and our tracker. Why have we then this remark about upcoming changes on the home page? Because our data-center told us that due to the moce our IP-adresses will change soon. People who know about Ip numbers and domain resolution (DNS) will tell you: it will take some time until all NS-servers in the world will realize such changes - so there can be interruptions when we have our IP numbers changed We will post this change on our home (News) page as soon as we get to know them. Hopefully some days before the real change will take place - we can then also offer some help tips to reach our site/tracker before the changes are spread world wide. By now it is safe to upload new torrents also when you can't keep your client 24/7. Hope this helps

The torrent client you are using is not allowed on this tracker.  It's in the banned clients section of our FAQs http://tracker.gaytor.rent/faq.php#21. Try the latest version of uTorrent.  It's small and easy to use.  Good Luck! Best Regards Brandon GT.ru Staff

@nomadix: anyone have any suggestions ? always do 2 pass encoding the higher the bitrate, the better the quality for the best quality at a given bitrate, you cannot beat H264 there is no officially stable version of x264, it is a work-in-progress and new bugs occasionally creep in     while not as up-to-date as x264, mencoder's x264 engine is nice and stable cheers mate, right back at you

@Uwe: Hello geekguy, A part of the answer on the five, is that our records are per session. This means if a leecher stops leeching and later continues, you see only the last stats since he re-started… Perhaps in this case you were just "lucky" that no high bandwidth member of both sites jumped on ... Best regards Uwe That makes sense.  I knew that for 0.0; I should have mentally extrapolated that was the case. Mainly I am trying to show ThrobbinRod that jump-seeding isn't a problem like he thinks, because he makes wrong assumptions about where info counts and how things work. As for the configuration preferences the Mgr mentions:  Probably there is nothing to be done explicitly, but as I and others have discussed in the "power seeding" thread, it can impact slower uploaders' ability to share fairly.  Maybe its more about educating people to share to a fair ratio, but not an excessive one.

Regarding the pre-installation od Xunlei, it is what said en.wikipedia.org, but of course, that can be wrong … For me it sounded like PC manufacturer loading in Europe trial versions of antivirus software (e.g. Norton), serach bars, utilities and a lot of crap ware for "free" on new PC, so that first a clean-up is needed.

I don't have any experiences from other private trackers/forums since this is the only one I joined but I agree with Thanhbkk. Whatever mistakes I made or problems encountered here, there was a very good communication with the mods. I observed professionalism, politeness and helpfulness. 'hurrah' to you guys. Thank you for your hard work. Much appreciated.

That is why it was said: We do know, there are some cases (keeping the ratio near the minimum ratio) where especially for Users with more than 500 GB download will now get a ratio warning - there is always the possibility to ask a moderator (or on our help desk) for a longer time - a request which was in the past usually granted (and will so in the future) when we see that a user at least tries to increase his ratio. Actually > 700 GB download users are concerned by that statement, because lower got same or lower miniumum ratio requirements, which concerns the waste majority of members. Of course I understand that you feel it being wrong to have received now a low ratio warning, despites having followed all the rules until the sudden change.

If you are a power user you can exchange 250 seed bonus points for an invite to GIVE to one of your friends to join us here at Gaytorrents.ru.  You can also trade in 400 seed bonus points for 2 invites to the tracker. For every friend that joins the site you get 2GB of seeded traffic.  Hope that clears it up for you. Kisses Brandon GT.ru Staff

are you behind firewall/proxy that you can not control? if so then either socksify your client and create a tunnel over the firewall/proxy to outside world using ssh or see if your proxy supports torrents ~rR

maybe because one can easily open other forums and discuss lots of things to open pr0n sites, one has to make sure that nobody is watching and when one does get times like these, she/he will probably spend time watching pr0n/movie or something rather than replying here but sometimes, you just feel the need to connect to people and talk about "specific" things I am sure if we can put more gay related content on the forum, people will come and talk more about it for other stuff I will always go back to my community forum (where I am well known and can discuss with my peers/like minded people) ~rR

@jaybeebrad: What I can't stand, or UNDERstand, is when the site says 7 people are seeding but I can't get it to transfer, or if I'm lucky it goes at 0.1kb/second. I'm downloading the ManifestMen collections right now and they really ought to have been done in a few hours with 7-ish seeders each, but they're not! A part of the issue is as well that some of the seeder's and your's torrent client programmes are not connectable (see http://tracker.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=42368&dllist=1#seeders ). If both in a swarm seed and leech are not connectable, no communication will be possible between them, and the clients will prefer connectable clients. Being not connectable can have multiple sources: 1/ Firewall is blocking: check Windows Firewall to have an exception for incoming connections for your Torrent Client (or activate the option to create an exception in the Windows Firewall, if it got it). If you got another firewall on your computer, e.g. from the Antivirus suite, create an exception for the port used in your torrent client. 2/ Your Router/Modem (the box from your ISP) is not sending incoming requests to your PC. a) If it supports UPnP and your client, too, activate them in both b) Else, give your PC a fixed local IP address (read the operating system help how to do, read the modem manual for the IP address range to chose from, typically 192.168.1.xxx or 192.168.0.xxx) create a thing which may be called something like "Local server", "Port forwarding" or "NAT (Network Address Translation")" for that IP and the port number used in client. For this you need to read the manual of the modem / rouer or it's suppliers (ISP) online help. portforwarding.com has help for many models
