I tried completely exiting out of uTorrent and now it's downloading very fast. Not sure exactly what that did but thanks for giving me the idea.

You should run a test if your Vuze and BitTorrent are connectible. In BitTorrent, it is the "Network" test in the "Setup Guide" BitTorrent > Options > Setup Guide > check the "Network" box and run the test. The result should be a green check sign. If it is yellow/orange or worse a red cross, something is wrong with your setup or the network between you and the other peers. Vuze got as well an test tool, but I don't remember right know what is the path to it. ???

Please select a torrent from GayTorrent.ru in your µTorrent, then the "Trackers" tab in the lower µTorrent window part. There look for the line with the tracker announce URL and please indicate the message in the "Status" column. That message gives us some hints on possible issue causes.

The answer to your question is yes. However, if you mean the SheAniMALE torrent, you are already charged 0.02% of download. The problem with that torrent is that the seeder isn't connectible and only you leech.

Ratio counts actually downloaded data amounts. If you didn't download the movie, no download was added to your accounts statistics and therefore nothing can or needs to be given back. If you speak about the number of .torrent files permitted for 24 hours, not nothing will be given back. There is no way to know if and when you'll use it.

OK, the upsidedown h is actually the Greek letter µ from µTorrent. So you got µTorrent installed. If you download a torrent, you should select "Open with …" and choose that µTorrent or uTorrent It might help as well to go to the Start menu of Windows (the button bottom left of the Windows desktop) and to select there to open µTorrent. Then in Options > Preferences > General > Click on the button "Associate with .torrent files" if it isn't greyed out.

Some VPN providers do not like torrent traffic, and they might kick you out. If you want to try a VPN that has good reputation, and has servers you can use for torrents, try Astrill. You can get a free trial.

That is likely a browser option … which are you using? For example in Firefox it is in Tools > Options > Applications > Action (change "Save file" into "Always ask")

You need to limit the upload rate and download rate of µTorrent according to your internet access' capabilities, so that there is a reserve left for other internet activity (browsing, chat, etc…) , if you want to watch a video stream, you might need to pause torrenting. µTorrent got a built-in help fpr that: µTorrent > Options > Setup Guide > select the "Bandwidth" test and run it > select the proposed setting. That should do the trick.

I read this morning that there were issues with our tracker …, I guess your problems were related to that and had nothing to do with your settings or the restart of your torrent client programme.

@Uwe: You need to have selected in µTorrent > Options > Preferences > UI Settings > When Adding Torrents "Show options to change the name and location of the torrent data". In my version of uTorrent 3.0 the box to check reads "Show a window that displays the files inside a torrent in advanced mode" This will show a dialog as attached below. Choose 'Select none' and that clears the check boxes. Then you just click the boxes of those you want to download [image: 66445_utorrent.JPG]

Hey Bill Did you try another client as i suggested earlier. That should help you. I'm guessing it's my torrent you are referring to.

Currently, your profile shows you're downloading 2 torrents, also generating upload too. That means these torrents do have seeders and leechers. Has your problem fixed itself?
