Actually there are two things that must match: the torrent's hash the tracker URL including a valid passkey When downloading a torrent, it gets the tracker URL with the downloading member's passkey inserted into the information contained in the .torrent file However, assuming it is a same hash torrent, the tracker URL can be edited, so it contains a passkey. Most torrent clients have functions to edit the tracker URLs, or there are "Torrent Editors", including online. So downloading it is not the "only" way to get the right tracker URL with a valid passkey.

Check if your µTorrent is connectible > https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=7598.0 and weren't you using a seedbox most of the time?

Light green background colour means you've got the .torrent file upon. Darker green background colour means you've completed the download of all files.

That depends if at least one of the seeds your client knows continue to seed. If yes, the download should continue. However, if you close your torrent client, it is likely that he doesn't store the seeds information and won't connect again on restart. Not being connectible may be as well an issue, especially if you and the left seed(s) are both not connectible, no connection will be established -> no download possible.

You could even post the URL to the video in this thread to see if anybody has the video to share.

Wow.. I have not uploaded torrent files to other sites myself.  But I can imagine that some people WOULD do that, not realizing that they were giving away their passkey.

From the sounds of it, it sounds like the VPN itself is either IPSec instead of PPTP, or that the VPN itself does not support port passthrough.

Thanks a million. Was not yet on my daily limit at that stage so must be the SSL of the mobile app. I just loaded the torrents over onto a spare notebook that was lying around and they started straight away. Thank again for advice, will keep that in mind i I use the mobile app again. GreetZ

It would appear that the torrent client that you're using does have some issue with SSL connections. Your best bet is to check the setings in your torrent client, and force it to accept the tracker's SSL cert. Also, depending on what OS you're running and whether or not you can install apps, it may be worth while to try qBitTorrent. It's available on most platforms, yet is quite simple to work with.

There is also another possible reason why this may happen sometimes. If you're using a proxy server instead of a VPN, some of them are a little picky. Simply put, the site is now behind a protection system of its own. Because of this, there is use of JavaScript redirects to be able to properly reach the site and tracker. The down side to this is that if you're running a proxy server that is configured like most, the JavaScript re-direct is lost as it passes through the Proxy on the user's end, which has been known to cause this very issue. My suggestion here is that if this does not work directly, try it temporarily without the use of the proxy server. If that does work, then I would suggest getting a full VPN service (PPTP preferred), which will still hide your identity the same way that the proxy will, however it tunnels ALL of your internet traffic through the VPN. This allows for maximum protection against copyright trolls, while at the same time, allowing you to still access the site and tracker. Just a thought…

cdn.bitmedianetwork.com is the content distribution network used by µTorrent/BitTorrent to distribute its advertisements displayed in these torrent clients. If you deactivate the  advertisement in your BitTorrent, the warning should go away.

They system is adjusting downloads rights (take or give) in 15 minutes intervals. Depending on where in an interval you are, it can take up to 15 minutes to get the download right back. I see you got yours back 3 minutes after writing your post here. This topic about the First Time Upload Program should be interesting for you, too: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=20636

Right remark. So the answer is yes, that is possible and the bandwidth part of your answer is right too. In case both are well seeded, the download bandwidth will be split in a way where it is difficult to make any prediction in how, but it will take longer to get a full copy of both. I mean with that, that if one is downloaded after the other, a complete copy of the first is obtained earlier. The complete copy should be obtained at a very similar delay. In case both are badly seeded, so the seeding is much below the available download bandwidth, it should not effect the delay to get any of the too files. With that i mean the first file will be obtained at the same time than if it would be downloaded alone. So these two case (many inbetween exists), just show that no general prediction of the effect is possible. What can be said more general is regarding the back uploading: If there are other downloader, the backupload while downloading should be smaller, because the way the bit torrent protocol works, it prefers downloads from seeds with high free upload bandwidth and the upload bandwidth will be split between both, so others are more likely to more often have free bandwidth when ask to seed. The effect can be extreme when one of the two torrents is from a public tracker (ratio free by definition like The Pirate Bay) or a ratio free private tracker. Typically those have less seeding peers per downloading peers, so the torrent client will prefer to serve that torrent's downloading peers over another from a private tracker with ratio requirements (like GayTorrent.ru) having usually more seeding peers. Again this is still difficult to predict because it will depend on the peers in the swarm of both torrents. So above is only a "tendency"
