MOST of them are, at any given point in time, seeding hundreds, if not thousands of torrents MOST of them have limited (less than 10G) upload speeds and can "feed" about 10-20 connections at a time. SO, with that in mind, when there are only a few seeders, sometimes you have to "wait your turn" to connect to them because they're busy seeding other torrents to other users... IMHO, it helps to keep in mind that ALL of us volunteer our resources to share all this awesome porn (even the fat, hairy, tattooed guys I'm totally not into! LOL)!!!

@serdue0 Maybe something changed? That torrent has 200+ seeders! If you cannot download that, then you're being blocked (by your ISP, maybe)... or else you don't have the harddrive space where you said to save the torrent data!

Have been having this problem off and on with Transmission on a Mac as well. Thanks to the above, I downloaded qbitorrent, and so far it seems to be working OK, though I did have to make a security exception for the program

In some way that I don't fully understand, your torrent client negotiates with the tracker (at gaytor.rent) and hooks you up with other seeders. You won't necessarily be connected with every other seeder. I don't know if there's a way to get the tracker to connect you to more seeders...perhaps another user can chime in.

Because of family matters I could not take care of the errors on the new site before. The error described above should be fixed now. Also the upload of pictures in usual file sizes should work as expected. Due to a small misconfiguration after I "finished" the new site, a logfile filled up and took all the memory on the disk. There were also a few other small bugs fixed without knowing what effect they had on the site. If anything does not work, please test the same link on the .ru page. If it works there, I am grateful for any detailed error report. Please ALWAYS send urls where the error happens. Thanks !

I'm getting a different kind of issue with the announce URLs. When I switch the old tracker URL from gaytor.rent to the new gaytor.rent, I get gaytor.rent: Error: Not Found, and when I switch it back, I get gaytor.rent: Error: Not Foundwhen previously they were resolving fine. I also tried using the non-SSL tracker.gaytorrent.tw address, same problem. It seems to resolve for a little while, before it goes "Not Found" again.

Apparently i have this problem too (with this torrent https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=0e13757873eb59de255056251bf54b8e206a567648c0455c), and switching to old site solved the problem. Thanks for the tip.

@NF16 Thats correct NF16 and has only just started happening on here. It oddly doesnt happen on any other torrent sites (torrentquest etc). I am using firefox but havent changed any settings or anything. I'll play around and see if i can fix the issue. Thanks.

There are really two separate questions here and it's not clear which one you're asking. Question 1 is why are internet download speeds in general so much faster than upload speeds? In my own case, my maximum download speed is about 20 times faster than my maximum upload speed. As to why that's the case, it's because that's the way the cable and telecom companies designed it. They optimized for the common scenarios: browsing the web, watching Netflix, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc. Question 2 is why download speeds on specific files here can be so much faster than upload speeds. Part of it is the technical issue above but it also depends on who else is uploading and downloading at the same time you are. If you are one of the first few people to start downloading a torrent file, when there is only one person seeding, you are likely to find that your upload and download speeds are relatively close to each other. Depending on the upload speed of the initial seeder, you may even find that you're at or above 100% by the time you've finished downloading. If you pick up the file much later, when there are are dozens of people seeding and only a few of you leeching, your download will go very quickly and you may find that at the end of the download, you've uploaded almost nothing. In that scenario, you may have to wait days or even weeks to achieve a 100% ratio. If there are a lot of files here that you're interested in, checking back regularly and grabbing the files when they first become available is likely to be your best bet. As for the larger collections with fewer people leeching than seeding, it's a judgment call: do you really need those files and are you prepared to wait as long as needed to get your ratio up again? In some cases, you may not be able to upload as much as you downloaded, in which case you can look for the other alternatives to keep your overall ratio good: uploading new content, making use of the FreeLeech torrents, donating to the site, keeping a popular torrent active and uploading much more than you downloaded for those files, and so on. As Arago44 noted, a seedbox might be a good solution for you if you're willing to spend a little money. There are dozens of providers and plans available, from just a few bucks a month to high monthly fees, depending on the disk size and network bandwidth you need. You'll find a lot of information by doing a web search on "seedbox."
