Yes, the setup is right. Yout torrent cilen appears as connectible to our tracker. Now remains as issue that what you seed got (almost) no downloading peer, so nobody to whom you could upload. You should try to seed those torrents from your completed list, which have the lowest number of seeders. If you reseed one which had no other seeder, write to the Helpdesk with reference to this topic.

If your ratio falls below the minimum shown in your profile the grace period is the time the site will allow you to continue as usual until your download rights become limited. It gives you time to improve your ratio. Freeleech is very simple. If there is a box at the top of the torrent page which says 'Make this torrent freeleech' you can use your  bonus points to 'buy' a freeleech period starting at 24 hours. Then everyone including you can download without it counting and with a bit of luck you will upload as well to improve your ratio. You'd  be amazed how quickly a torrent can go from no-one about to dozens of connections within a short period

It is just determining if the tracker counts the torrent as downloading peer (leecher) or seeder. Uploaded amount of data will be count as reported (announced) by your torrent client to the tracker towards the total upload amount. In your example 813.07 GB. Actually often already when the torrent client still downloads parts of the files of a torrent, it already uploads the parts it already got. and these are reported as uploaded by the torrent client and counted accordingly.

I've forgotten to mention: As long as you seed at least one completed download (all files downloaded), you'll get 0.5 bonus points per hour seeding, even without actually uploading any data.

You are doing not that bad… If you click on "Ratio: ..." below the blue menu band, you get to a page which explains how the ratio system works and an almost exhaustive list of possibilities to increase it. > https://www.gaytor.rent/rationator.php

In your profile (click your nickaname in the top bar) you can see how many torrents you have downloaded completely and which torrents are corrently in seeding.

You've uploaded the small .torrent files but are not seeding the movie files. Are the two torrents listed in your µTorrent? a) If yes, can you start them (you might need to use the "Force start" option). b) If not, can you go to the descriptions and download the small .torrent files, add them to µTorrent and while adding direct the download to the folder which conatains the movie files?

@allyigator: About an hour ago, my ratio was 0.441, now it's 0.436. Despite me uploading 4 torrents, 2 of which are freeleech. Also, why is it that ever since I've been on this site, I seed torrents that the site claims have tons of leechers, yet I see no upload activity and don't get credited for any? Is it that all of the leechers have been compensated? I am so thoroughly confused. That are torrents with multiple files. A seed can only be a peer who got all files. The torrent protocol knows only seeds and other peers (aka leecher). Therefore peers who have not downloaded all files and seed what they got are still appearing as leecher. In your case, these are the small picture files which were deselected from the download by quite a number of peers.

@trukr: Another thing to pay attention to if you haven't already noticed, torrents only stay freeleech for a given time period. So if you don't complete a freeleech torrent within it's freeleech time duration, you'll get "charged" for the rest of it. The entire torrent isn't freeleech in some cases. Hello, not to hijack the thread, but what is your avatar from?

Vuze/Azureus doesn't like our tracker with scarping support disabled in it's out of box configuration. Read there about better settings > https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=16166.0

Re-uploading a torrent for a file, for which already exists a torrent will be seen as duplicate upload (with the exception of collections). Our system auto promotes torrents which are announced to be seed and had no download for a long period (understand here some months). We as well clean manually the torrent list from torrents being identified as definitely dead, i.e. neither the members having completed the download nor the original uploader reacting to a reseed request within a week. However, due to low number of staff working on torrents, that cleaning got low priority.

@MarkB: I've been well above the minimum requirement throughout the period the ratio was showing in dark red, so it looks like there may be a gremlin in the coding somewhere. What seems to have set the ratio colour back to white is the fact that I passed the 250 GB download mark today (unless that's just a coincidence). That definitely shouldn't occur and likely was a gremlin - perhaps relating to our recent reconfiguration changes.  The system should update the ratio red signal within 10-15 minutes after restoration of the minimum ratio.  Sorry about that!  Glad it reset for you eventually.

@Popper: Would it be clearer for you, if this: … For every hour you have a file (or multiple files) seeding you get .5 points for every hour. ... would be changed to: … You get 0.5 points for every hour you have at least one torrent seeding. ... Or how would you word it better? The second one is better - "You get 0.5 points for every hour you have at least one torrent seeding. …" A more precise alternative would be "You get a 0.5 bonus point for each hour you seed torrents no matter what quantity." (or..."no matter... how many files you seed.") twzzz

Most likely, that "Mountain Men" torrent is a torrent for multiple files and you have selected to download only a 471.1 MB movie from it. Seeder can only be a peer which got all files. Therefore the tracker counts peers having downloaded a part only and seeding it as leecher. This is the same for all trackers I know. Regarding your trail to upload an own new torrent, that sounds as if you try to upload a big movie file to the site. However, you have to upload only the small .torrent file, which you've created upon with your Vuze/Azureus. Note as well, that you have to download then after as well only that small .torrent file (not the movie file), which got your personal secrete passkey inserted. When you add that .torrent to your Vuze/Azureus, you have to set the "download" to the folder (directory) where the movie file from which the torrent was created is. Personally I create always back-up copies of the files I want to seed, just in case something goes wrong.

The statistics listed in your picture are only session based and not cumulative. Cumulative upload/download data is added to your ratio amounts in the upper part of your profile page.

Actually that item displays always zero … first time i am realising that  :afr: The session based values can be seen in the Profile's torrent list, but as Riddler pointed out, they don't show full history.
