Fan produced content can be just as faked as studio porn (maybe less so but still). You always have to consider what shot looks good, editing, actors taking breaks between, etc. With studio porn you get a bit more budget and better cameras which some people just prefer. Usually with a director that can shoot and use proper blocking etc that can make a scene more memorable, give some scene some nice dialogue, set dressing, plot (?) - some older studio porn are still memorable for that reason
