@MrMazda: As far as I am aware, the system is invite only. The affiliate link thing will not work. oh - well there are some positive ID's occurring in discussions on invite forums - i think what is happening is that the new system here directs anyone who has an active account from a recognised IP who is checking out the sign-up link to a 'signups are closed' notice page. However, bonafide new signers who don't have an active account are being directed to an active registration page which does produce bonus awards for associated affiliate links used. I think this in-built control in the system is to help hinder repeat signers creating multiple accounts easily. So - as afar as  im aware - external discussions say your affiliate links are working again but under this new system. Also the sign-up link is located in different places depending on the GUI you are able to access with your device. ?!? cheers twzz

When someone stumbles upon this site, he has no way to register directly (usually). there must be one who is already a member sending him an invite (a line of code) and then he can register using this invite. When we want to send an invite to others, we need to buy it with bonus points.

Actually, what you probably didn't know is that there is a bit of a bug with this feature. If you turn on certain categories in those defaults, when trying to search with category settings different than the default, the search will give you issues. For best results, you actually want to un-check all the categories, as well as the three search 2.0 options.

@bearbearbear: @jay230: The only laws the site is bound by are those of the country it's hosted in… Which in this case appears to be Russia. If the site admins have used local laws in their country as justification for removing content it's a courtesy not an expectation. The site owner doesn't need any justification at all to remove a torrent.  Seems like in this situation it is because doing the right thing is important, not because of any law. Just to be clear, we take the privacy of our users very seriously. As such, we take complaints of revenge porn very seriously. I think there's a disconnect here between the point I've been making and what you all are choosing to interpret… I didn't argue that the content should or shouldn't have been removed or that the admin made a poor choice in doing so. The site can deal with situations in any way they see fit. That said depending on the circumstances, taking action may be a courtesy, rather than a strict obligation or expectation. Obviously when it comes to legality the jurisdiction is law within the host country, which is the minimum standard the site is held to. However if site admins want to go above and beyond, because they feel morally obligated, there's nothing wrong with that either. However as members we really are at the mercy of whomever is making that call in those cases.

When I comment on someone else's page, the "edit" option shows, but when I reply comments on the page of torrents I uploaded myself, there's only the option "report", like I'd report myself haha.

The new site design is terrible for mobile users and I really wish they would stop trying to change everything. Refresh or update the look sure…. but don't change the functionality of the site. In torrent details it's harder to deal with the pictures on mobile. Before you click the picture and it opens in a separate window....couldn't be simpler. Now even when I uncheck the box in settings so that it uses the old style picture viewing it still opens the picture in a slide show format that doesn't operate very well on mobile. You can't pinch to zoom because the picture acts crazy and randomly zooms in and out or just switches to the next picture. I'll be looking for another torrent site soon if the picture viewer is going to be that much of a hassle....for no good reason.

@lololulu19: If I search on Aaron Roberts I get NO HITS.. but if I search on "Aaron Roberts" I get four hits. The quotes are not usually needed.. for instance.. if I search on Aiden Garcia I get 67 hits. Something is wrong with the search utility! if you try this again now it  should work.. the DB needed some cuddling…
