As others have said, experimenting/putting yourself out there is your best shot at figuring it out as well as reflecting a bit on what your experiences made you feel. In my case I'm definitely a homoromantic homosexual male. However for some 10 years I agonized over if I'm actually bisexual or not because I never had a sexual encounter with girls even though I knew I could appreciate the female figure. The clincher moment for me (even though I've had oral sex several times with males) was when I took a shower with my best friend's girlfriend. I had joked we should shower together after swimming because I felt I was gay and she surprisingly agreed. I looked at her and she was very beautiful but my body didn't react in the slightest. Perhaps thats a poor example but that experience allowed me to completely affirm that I both love and would sleep with men at least 99% of the time. I still allow for the fact that it is possible that there may be a woman out there I'd go for since I've seen some masculine looking ones that I would check out at the very least.

when I met my brother first-time many years ago,in that youth age both of us are impetuous. I only wanted to fuck him hard and don’t care other things. after months of living together we felt fears we realized we are too gay we would die for that reason. now both of us become more mature, less gay. I don’t say gay is not mature, but as an adult there are more things to worry sexual  orientation is only small piece of it.

@nixosgl: ehy look another italian… i presume you are bisexual... (since you talked about son/daughter) My previous post was just an attempt to show that if the coming out process takes some time for an individual to be prepared then you should also expect said parents to need some time to "accept" your sexuality too. Of course we're all different so there's no go-to answer for this kind of thing, just wanted to point out my opinion on the matter P.S: I ain't bisexual, I'm pretty gay

@cteavin: @1995DS: I haven't come out yet, do you have any ideas on how to do it the right way? There are four groups to whom we come out: Ourselves. Our family. Our friends. Our community. Then there's the fact that we come out daily, pretty much, meaning that when we step out with our bf into public or correct someone's pronoun usage we are coming out to the strangers around us. There's no correct order except that we tend to come out to ourselves first. (There are people who's family or freinds tell them, or to whom passers-by assume for you but that's a little different.) If you've come out to yourself and you don't know who to trust next the I suggest coming out to your community. Find the LGBT center near you, take part in an LGBT themed event (baseball game, picnic, social group), go to the gay ghetto near you and sit in a coffee shop. In the community, most everyone will empathize with you. (There's always a bitchy queen out there who doesn't pay them no mind.) Places like West Hollywood and Castro are "safe spaces". Going to a bar or club is another way to come out to your community but the vibe is very different and alcohol is involved, that might work for you, that might not.

@cheerfuldonu: I came out to someone I didn't know: a net friend. Then now we  became real life friends and she's still one of the best friends I' ve ever had. I thought it was a he.. a male net friend! ^-^

@kikhumbira: @emmy: I know it's hard but, at the end of the day, it is your life and they will just have to take it or leave it. Tell them. You choose the right moment. They might not understand it but they will still love you. Why is this the right moment? Is it?
