@justatest90-0 PrEP is very expensive in Taiwan if you are not a high risk person (like say medical workers). I heard that you have to buy it in Thailand if you want it cheaper, like vastly cheaper. Otherwise a course of prep is something like close to 1000 dollars. But once you become positive, the government pays the costs, and first 2 years is paid for by the Taiwan's version of CDC, after that it's paid for by the national healthcare.

@raphjd That's some exciting medical news. During two years of Covid protocols, I lowered my activity level and ate a lot of sugary snacks. My doc warned me I was approaching pre-diabetic, and that was enough for me to make the right lifestyle choices and get fit. But for those where insulin is a necessity, this would represent a great step forward.

Original poster here. I was able to get the first shot about a month ago. Not surprisingly, the fellow people waiting in line made it seem like a Grindr home page screen come to life - mostly 20's and 30's white guys with slamming bodies. I think if I had opened Grindr while standing in line, the app would have spontaneously combusted. Anyway, I got the original dosage method so the nurse went in deep with the needle. She must have grazed a nerve as my arm twitched when she it something with the needle tip. No real muscle soreness after. 2nd dose has been delayed as the city has been prioritizing first doses.

What you really need to be careful of is viagra with poppers. Lots of people take viagra with meth since meth can make erections hard to maintain and you do NOT want to be mixing poppers and viagra as this can seriously damage your heart and has potential to give a heart attack.

I need more sleep! It gets harder as you get older as you need to wake up more often to pee, and sometimes it's harder to fall back asleep.

@fatfuck @fatfuck said in Do you take PREP if you only perform oral?: If your mouth gum bleeds, your partners' penis(es) have sores and unknown HIV status, if you swallow every drop, you should take prep. Stay Safe. -Sun Tzu, "The Art of War"

@kenshin1991 said in Bareback sex...: @nickcruise There's a degree of risk but if you're in a monogamous relationship the risk is greatly reduced. However, in reality, no one knows for sure if your "monogamous " partner is messing with other dudes secretly.

@lololulu19 said in Cialis actually WORKS!: I am not sure about this, but I suspect that if you do not have a problem with getting erect, cialis doesn't do much of anything noticeable.. but if you DO have a problem, Cialis FIXES IT and lasts 18 hours. glad to know that fixed your problem

@padmasana I believe you can consider it addiction if it has a negative impact in your life. Most researches related to porn are circunstancial, so they don't really provide any real evidence to support if porn is good or bad, so as it stands it ins't a physical or mental health issue. So, it's all up to the individual to decide. If you don't do stuff you need to do because you need to watch porn, if watching porn hurts your relationships, or anything like that, I'd say it's time for you to find something else. But if porn is just something you like to do in your free time, and you just think you do it a lot, it's not a big deal. Again, in short, if watching porn affects your life negatively, then it's a serious problem that you should take care of, if it's just an activity you do on your spare time because you enjoy it, there's no real need to stop doing it. Now how to deal with it, depends on how porn affects you. If it's an actual addiction, then I'd say try getting some professional help. If it's something you do on your free time but you want to do less, finding other hobbies and filling up your time with other things usually helps.

@bi4smooth Biggest problem is all carbohydrates (sugars) which we eat not realising that this is sugar (bread, pasta, rice etc) plus mixing high sugar and high fat. You have slim people on high sugar diet eating low fat (Japan, Korea , China) You have slim people on High fat low sugar diet - Eskimo You have people eating proportional balanced foods - like italian french german etc - and it was OK when folks were poor - nw they eat too much -and gettng fat Then you have concept of eating what i want - today chinese, tomorrow italian, yesterday indian - different diets different proportions - you cannot control as you have no idea what nutritients are in them as they are out of your cultural background. If you kept into your own traditions you would eat rich one day and fast another - as it was in old times.

@di3di3di3 said in Get circumcised or not?: no. never change for anyone. especially not for religious nutjobs . lol ''unclean'' ,...umm did he ever hear of soap and water? anyways, we arent middle ages now. we have clean running water, soap and access to it 24/7/365. cleaning pennis foreskin etc means its as clean as a circumciced pennis Imma say this again - by the time you reach adulthood, having YOURSELF circumcised is a purely personal choice. That said, the results are even more permanent than a tattoo! (There is no putting that foreskin back!) But, like a tattoo, the purpose is purely visual and personal... if you like it better, cut it! But also, all of these purported "medical" reasons are pathetic excuses to explain INFANT circumcision, and they are bogus...

@raphjd I just asked my doctor about this two days ago. I'm 35 and he said the limit is 27 for male (Canada). However, he also said that there are 10 strains of HPV. Since there is low likelihood that one has been exposed to all strains, it is still beneficial to get the shot even when you're already past the age limit to a certain consideration. So long story short, he prescribed me gardasil and will get it on Friday.

@gayofseas Sure, it's risky, and I would recommend consulting a medical professional before undertaking anything. That said, I think losing weight, trimming, would work for most people as long as they just get out there and have fun it would matter less.

@phoenix2021 said in PREP problem with STD: @paulflying said in PREP problem with STD: PREP problem with STD If you are on PREP and do bareback, then STD has chance. How do you think of that? In the UK, you get PREP prescription every 3 months, which means every 3 months you go the GUM clinic and get tested for STDs. So I find some comfort in that, as when speaking to people about PREP and they are not on it, they sometimes mention they know they are clean, but have never been tested for any STDs or visited a GUM clinic. That's an excellent point: people on PrEP have to visit the Dr (aka clinic) on a regular basis and undergo regular, routine testing - which includes a blanket of STD screenings in addition to HIV - which, if nothing else tells you that someone on PrEP is legitimately aware of their "sexual health"... IMHO, people who say "they're clean" and haven't had an STD screening or an HIV test in over 6-months are self-delusional.... they don't know, and they couldn't know! HIV doesn't present SYMPTOMS for sometimes several years! All the while, you have it and you spread it! In my own personal dating, I'd strongly prefer someone who is either on PrEP or who is poz-undetectible and on HIV meds to someone who is "just winging it"... That's me - and I don't posit it as being for everyone - but, that's my thought process!
