We don't face storage space issues. It is rather a question of inspecting the history to avoid unwanted content (e.g. banned studio pictures etc …) and to find moderators for the different old sections. I didn't know Tim but I felt the need to pay my respects. I've read several of his posts (he was quite prolific!) and many of them made me laugh. He was quite a character and made many friends. Well, sometimes stating the obvious is far from redundant. In this case, what's obvious is that Tim hasn't been forgotten and that says a lot about the man. Farewell, Tim!

just downgrade to the latest stable release (ie no alpha, beta or RC) and it should work - the most obvious reason I can think of not allowing beta versions is because they are beta and not everything is ironed out and works correctly yet.

The new rules are in force. All submitted material must have GAY THEMED CONTENT or involve VOYEURISM of the MALE PHYSIQUE . Gay-interest, an openly gay actor or minor gay characters are insufficient to meet this requirement. Do NOT upload any gay-themed movies that are released/produced by mainstream cinema / TV studios. Examples of voyeuristic material include bodybuilding, wrestling and underwear/swimwear. There is still some housekeeping needed though on the library of torrents. There is as well ongoing work on the definition of mainstream cinema and TV studios. In case  you see a torrent which for you isn't fitting into that rule and not tagged ~ms, ~ms? or ~ng, please Report it.

@myrea: Can some Mod please check there is a poster filling the Bi section with straight bdsm uploads.  The best way to get our attention on torrents is to use the report function.  If you feel a torrents  is banned, duplicate, is in wrong category just click on that button and fill out some information. I'll go have a look.

I've checked the basics, and it looks like everything is set correctly. Indeed, all other torrent sites are working fine on my end, both uploads and down. It's only the gt.ru site. All the gt.ru trackers say…  "offline". I've got mu-torrent version 3.2.1. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Is anyone else with that version having trouble?  Thx! EDIT: Ok, I've installed the BitTorrent client AND the Vuse (Azurus) clients, and tried downloading from GT.ru  All three say the same thing. GT.ru trackers are offline and timing out. All three clients are able to download from other sites like PirateBay just fine. Is anyone else experiencing this?

@leatherbear: You should be able to access the torrent thru your profile page under Currently Leeching. The reseed request button is disabled for this torrent. I have made a report on this situation. It really depends: Pictures are resized to display in 1024 width max. The Most Wanted List just simply represents the torrents with the most downloads and activity associated with them. Certainly there many other torrent choices available to you by using our Search and Browse Functions. Just now it seems Bareback Category rules the most wanted list this is true. However, there are 1000's of other choices to made.

@underlvr: After I seeded the new one, I then restarted all of my old torrents to keep them active.  This specific torrent had at least one other seeder at that time, so I stopped my seed, so that the other seeder(s) would receive the upload credit if anyone wanted the torrent. It appears that this is exactly what later occurred ― namely that another user, perhaps even that last lone seeder you mentioned leaving when you stopped your seed, continued to "share" that very same file, albeit in "promoted" form. Owing to a haphazard handling of the file's death and eventual resurrection―coupled with the growing sense of detachment you experienced as your file continued to "live-on" without you―it was at this point that your altruism turned to indignation. The zero-sum game of file sharing can create feelings of personal betrayal. But what you intended at first (for another to benefit) and what then later occured (others did benefit) are differences of circumstance, not substance. Sensing and accepting the idea of fairplay inherent in all file-sharing communities is essential for maintaining the more positive feelings of altruism that you already show in abundance.

My personal next would be flv, but it may contain MPEG-4 AVC like the MP4 you seems to prefer and therefore can be good quality (but most I watched are lousy, certainly because converted too many times, see above remark about the original release format) For share ratio, it does not mater if a file is big or small, what matters is the moment when you enter a swarm, the connectivity of your torrent client programme, the upload rate, the queue settings etc… I'll always prefer the original DVD at 8 GB versus a 700 MB MP4 of a video for home use.
