Eisen Loch torrents usually get taken down pretty quickly (DMCA). Not sure about HungYoungBrit but it's likely for the same reason.

@skylerlaw: But now I have a question—does the browse function have an option to only show freeleech files, like the search function does? That would also be a nice feature, I think.  Unless it already exists and I am not noticing something very basic and obvious!  :blink: I don't think the freeleech search in BROWSE exists, and yes to this suggestion. Hope it could be implemented in future.

That's nice. Why not put up the specific torrent link so that more people can see it ? I assume that you are in need of ratio Also… please don't name your torrent title description Mu5cle. It is not a common term and not highly searchable in the torrents search engine. You will get better hits if you spell it the usual way (and why alpha-numeric letters... I really don't understand). You could also include in the description "muscle gallery", "musclegallery", "MG" because that would help with the search engine and getting hits into your torrent. Cheers.

Any time a thread/post is removed, for whatever reason, the bonus points associated with it goes away too. As already pointed out, we had a mystery wipe of the forum, which mostly got restored.    Also, I removed some threads in the non-English section of people posting nothing but spam for bonus points.

This only happens when you are downloading a collection, you have to download everything. But when you selected only the items in the file you wanted to download, our system will only detect you as leecher.

I usually recommend to hang onto them for as long as possible. Usually after a while, some of the torrents will disappear into the abyss. When this happens, it can be a great time to start reseeding the torrents, then ask a mod or the helpdesk to promote and/or freeleech the torrents to cash in on having saved the content over time. This is a big part of how I keep my ratio so high. That said though, I know that not everyone can afford several 3TB SSD drives to store everything on. Also, not everyone has the kind of upload capacity that I do.

Two other factors to consider… There are currently no leechers actively downloading the torrent's contents, so there's nowhere really to upload to. You need to make sure that the port number that your torrent client uses is forwarded in your router to your computer, both in TCP and in UDP. This is a very critical, but often overlooked step. Where #2 is not possible, the only workaround is to use a VPN service that either forwards one port (and use that port for your torrent client), OR that forwards ALL incoming ports through the VPN to your computer.

The search should now be back to normal.

@jcuthb1: The title. I jumped into this without learning about seeding. How do I do it exactly? I'm using JS Torrent on a chromebook but I don't know if I'm actually seeding. Last thing I want to do is break the rules. Any help is appreciated. @lololulu19: This is not an entirely new concept.  The book "The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde" was published in 1886, which was obviously the inspiration for the murders of Jack The Ripper in 1888.  Robert Louis Stevenson wrote the blueprint for psychopathic killers.  Similarly, Steven King aka Richard Bachman wrote the books "Rage" and "Carrie" which are the blueprint for all the school massacres including Columbine, Sandy Hook, and Parkland MSD, and many others.  Thanks a lot STEVE! Psychopathic killers (which would include Jack The Ripper and the many school shooters) don't become psychopathic because they read a book, watched a film, or played a video game.  They are already psychopaths.  The 99.something percent of people who consume the same media do NOT become psychopathic killers because they are not psychopaths in the first place.  Many of the violent young men in the news have schizophrenia or other severe psychiatric problems. It is true that media often provides inspiration about how to actually kill.  In particular, most if not all school shooters copycat previous school shooters.  It would be strange if they didn't learn from others who did the same thing previously.  We all do that with everything from speech to cooking lunch.  Just because they're psychopaths doesn't mean they're dumb. Even a suicide will trigger emulation suicides but only in those who are suicidal. It's going way too far to blame Robert Louis Stevenson and Steven King for even a single death, although you might attribute some blame to them for the way the killings were carried out.

Just out of curiosity, have you tried using a different browser and/or a different device?

@MrMazda: Have you by chance tried searching for "Public Jerker" or Public+Jerker ? I ask this because I seem to have no issues with the search. I don't know whether this has been fixed, or if I'm not affected because I am in a different user class. Can anyone advise me on this? You're right, multi-word search is working right now for me, too, but it was not working 12 hours ago.  Two words, no results, even if the exact phrase was in the title and each word was present individually.  I even tried it with underscore instead of a space. You are correct that about dead torrents but that's not the problem.

Yes… This is a very common thing, which QTM in particular trips on. Our usual recommendation to keep things simple for everyone is to delete the torrent, then create a new .torrent file to attempt the upload again. If you have any difficulty doing this, moderators such as myself can assist you with doing this. That said though, as long as you are able to get the torrent seeded, regardless of how you import it, it's all good.
