@MrMazda: Not that I'm aware of. I can save you half the work. Your torrent client reports that it is using port 11773 You need to make sure this port is forwarded from your router to your computer. The only resource I can think of for help would be www.portforward.com I use uTorrent as a torrent client, and I seem to recall that its website had some help pages that were useful. If other Gentle Users can suggest a good resource, please mention it here, and perhaps it can become part of this site's help system.  The computer I use for torrenting was set up seven years ago, and I got it to work fine.  But it's not going to live forever, and when I replace it, I'm not sure that I'll remember what I did back then.

I have been a member here for many years and never came across any malware until recently. Someone is constantly uploading infected .scr files. I do not know if it is technically possible but can't you just forbid .scr files from being uploaded and resolve this completely? Also IMO you should directly suspend accounts that upload infected files without even giving them notice.

Sometimes there are peers but you can't connect to them for whatever reason, something not on  your end.  You can wait for a peer to show up that you can connect to.  One way to ensure that happens quickly is to make a torrent freeleech.  That has never failed for me.

Unfortunately, there is no way for us to do this as far as I am aware. What torrent client are you using? Some issues are the result of the torrent client as I've come to recently discover. More specifically, if you're using Transmission 3.0, we have received a plethora of complaints that it is not working. If you are using Transmission, try rolling back to v2.94. I don't know why this makes a difference, but it apparently does.
