My guess is that a bit of everything happens: some dudes actually buy movies (not all, but some) and share it, and as many people do the same we have a lot of content. And then there must be some others who hack and get them. Whatever happens first hits the torrents sites and we praise those guys with a big and cheerful AHOY!

@Squeaky94: @oliverqueen3: Wait does it?! Is the ratio based just on the total torrent size?  :afraid2: I tought the tracker kept… well track of the actual downloaded amount! Don't quote me on it but the one time I did it my ratio took a big hit and the file downloaded within a few minutes so I just assumed that's what did it. I rarely notice my ratio go down in general cause I seed 24/7 so thatis what i figured it was. Not expert at this though so I could be way off.

Guess I'd rather pink but this isn't something I pay too much attention.
